Loss Posted August 20, 2014 Author Report Posted August 20, 2014 Lawler is here to party and Dundee is pissed off that he's not taking their match later in the show all that seriously. The Rock & Roll Express also send in a taped promo that they are happy to be coming back to Memphis. Quote
soup23 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 A birthday cake in wrestling surprisingly isn't used. Dundee is peeved at Lawler for being jolly and no taking his match later seriously. The RNR send in a taped promo sending their well wishes. Quote
Migs Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I like that they teased the cake. Quote
PeteF3 Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 I suspect this will not, in fact, be the Final Confrontation between Lawler and Dundee. The Rock 'n Roll Express cut a promo from the same studio Cornette was in. Gibson in a WWF Attitude shirt is just wrong. Quote
TravJ1979 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 Yes, Final confrontation was unintentionally funny. WWE Lawler in Memphis just doesn't do it for me. Every RNR promo is the same either Gibson starts it or ends it with little to say (barely comprehensible) and Morton acting like he's still in Crockett. Quote
