Loss Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 So Power Pro is running monthly at Mid South Coliseum instead of weekly. We have highlights of Lawler vs Kane from MSC. This is a really great highlight package and it also looks like they might have drawn a decent crowd. Jim Cornette made an appearance after the match and is now managing Kane. It looks like Lawler threw a fireball. Kane sells it while Cornette cuts a promo on Lawler.
Matt D Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 Pro wrestling history has 3,500 as the attendance. That looks to be about the same they got for their best show in 93 which was the Luger vs Yoko and heel Vince at ringside for Lawler vs Neighbors show.
soup23 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 3,500 isnt bad and the hype was good. I could have done without the music played during the package but the match highlights looked pretty damn good with Lawler bleeding, hitting a piledriver and Kane getting violent with Stacy before they censor everything. Cornette as Kane's manager here is odd but he gives a good spirited promo.
PeteF3 Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Elaborate, professionally-filmed and edited footage of the return to the MSC, which was loaded up with WWF guys and drew a great house for the time period. Lawler sticks a lighter into Kane's mask, according to Cornette, and tries to take out Kane's remaining good eye. Paul Bearer was out selling the injuries from Raw and then actually legitimately injured himself in the angle where Undertaker attacked him at his house. Cornette cuts a terrific promo over all this.
TravJ1979 Posted September 19, 2016 Report Posted September 19, 2016 I wish this was available in full or almost full because it looks like Lawler got a good match out of Kane. Probably political that they couldn't show the finish, but what they showed, it looked good.
ajtroma Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 I liked Cornette pretending not to know how Lawler throws fire when we all know he can throw a pretty good one himself.
