Bagwell comes bag and there's Judy! They had a chance to make a huge babyface here and dropped the ball. Check out all the signs! They bring him out to do a heartfelt promo, but they used the NWO music. Gene managed to be inappropriate but this was all a little exploitative anyway, so it is what it is.

Painfully bad babyface promo by Bagwell. But who cares about the washed up gigolo, it's Judge Judy Bagwell! Somewhere in New York a man dreamt of pole's that night.

I was ready for Buff to jump onto the babyface bandwagon and combat the NWO. He was over huge here as a babyface and gives on the surface a very sincere promo. Missed opportunity for sure to see what could have happened.

Gene talking about how Bagwell came close to dying was probably better left unsaid. It was actually true--Bagwell went through some major scares while in the hospital--but *sounds* implausible and melodramatic. That said, they had an angle and a wrestler that people could believe in, despite Buff's rather wooden delivery here. And they pissed it all down the drain for the sake of a SWERVE.
