Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Hales is back out in front of the crowd, just in a Power Pro t-shirt and torn pants. Meanwhile, security has Lawler blocked off from re-entering the studio. Hales assures the people he's the good guy in this situation and is prepared to air some dirty laundry. He mentions Lawler's first and second wives, Jerry Calhoun and Bill Dundee. When he starts insulting Stacy, Lawler manages to get past security and chase Hales into the parking lot. He tries to piledrive him in the parking lot (!!) but he's stopped. Hales ends up taking off. Hales manages to get back in the studio to get a few digs in at Lawler to close all of this out. This is great!
soup23
Hales is back with his personal digs while Lawler is restrained. He talks about his first two wives and calls Stacey a two bit something. This gets Lawler riled up and loose and the chase is on to the parking lot. Lawler goes for a piledriver but is restrained by everyone including Dave Brown. Another great chaotic scene to end an episode of Power Pro. Migs
I really hope they have an idea to pay this off beyond Lawler v. Giant Silva.
PeteF3
Definitely the best segment of this feud so far. Hales gets in some real low blows while he has security restrain Lawler outside in the hallway--telling the people of Memphis who think Lawler's such a hero to ask his first wife, Bill Dundee, his two kids, Jerry Calhoun, and his second wife just what a "good guy" Lawler is. Then Hales declares that Stacy is "nothing but a two-bit--..." and Dave Brown cuts him off right there. That's enough to get Lawler to break through the human barricade and chase Hales out to the old familiar WMC parking lot. Macklin and DAVE BROWN run after him to prevent a piledriver on the asphalt, along with what look to be WMC bigwigs. Obviously the the best days of even 1990's Memphis are long gone but this was the closest PPW has come to recapturing them. I too hope there's something more to this feud past Giant Silva, who might not be any better as a worker than Giant Gonzalez.
TravJ1979
This is the best segment in PPW history to this point.
ajtroma
Of everyone in this feud, I think Dave Brown comes off the best. He's in the spot where two mutual friends have a misunderstanding that could be hashed out easily if the other two werent so bull-headed and would just sit down and listen that just explodes out of control. Randy doesn't really say what Lawler did do these individuals, just a laundry list of people Lawler's pissed on over the years.
