Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
The infamous "Who are you to doubt El Dandy?" promo. Bret has no storyline at all, but he really tries to make something somehow out of the Booker T match he's scheduled for tonight. (It was okay, but they had a much better match the next month.) Gene buries the cruisers here. THIS IS A GROIN PULL THE LIKES OF WHICH YOU'VE NEVER SEEN.
PeteF3
"Dean Malenko happens to be nursing a very, very badly sprained ankle." Bret's sarcastic "Oooh!" face is even funnier than the El Dandy crack.
El-P
Bret the sarcastic heel was awesome. He did some underrated promo stuff during that time.
tim
This was hilarious. Given his reputation as a serious technical wrestler Bret has great range as a promo. You can complain about this promo making El Dandy a joke to most lesser-informed smarks all you want but as a stand alone promo it was great. Tim Evans
Bret calls Psicosis Hypnosis. Funny promo from Bret even with the Dandy line..
soup23
This is a good promo all in all and even in Bret dogging the cruisers, he actually does a good job of making Booker T seem very credible.
PeteF3
Bret was nursing a legit groin injury at this point, but the main reason he was inactive is that WCW had told him they didn't have anything for him to do. Yes, really. This of course is a legendary promo and I've even already commented on it, but the 1993-like backstage setting looks weird in the Monday Night Wars era and makes this look more like an episode of WCWSN than Nitro.
