Wade Garrett
I prefer this version to the Stan Lane version. The Lane version was about flash with substance. This team was about grit with substance. They were heat machines. They also drew more money. Now I don't use money as a gauge when I grade all timers because it's to complicated and I'm to easy. But they (and Jim Cornette) set Mid South on fire, coulda heated up a stale World Class had they been given the chance, and were a big part of JCPs national package. Easy Top 10. Timbo Slice
Smoothest motherfucking heel team ever. I didn't get to watch this version as much as the Lane version at first, but Condrey was SO good in this setting and Bobby was such a natural that it's tough to go back to the newer team, even if the newer team had the Fantastics to work with more along with the RnRs. I might go Top 5 with them.
goodhelmet
My #2 tag team if all time. The peak of all of their careers.
El-P
Greatness really shows its (rare) face, when you're watching a product and all of a sudden two guys like them show up, and you realize they just aren't on the same level as anyone else. That's what happened with me going through WCCW TV. The product is so damn drab as a whole, and then the MX show up. And they look like they are head and shoulders above everyone else. Of course, working alongside the Fantastics, who themselves were better than most people in World Class. But still, that's the sign of greatness. (of course, I was already familiar with this version of the MX, but it was so striking in that context)
Smack2k
World Class was CRAZY for not putting them vs. Kerry and Kevin in late 1985, early 86 and doing anything to keep them around in WCCW instead of keeping them mid-card vs. Fants (which was great to) and then letting them go to Crockett... World Class in 86 could have been very different and kept the hot ride going...Cornette in a main event feud in Dallas? Awesome Easy Top 5 team.
