shoe
This could be fun, and the matches should get time.

shoe
Neville vs Shemus This was fun until the finish. I've seen worse finishes, but doesn't help Neville at all.

Won't hurt him either though, especially if he wins the whole thing (longshot, but you never know).

shoe
I'm all for more Ziggler and Shemus though. Plus we got more blood and they're not shying away from shooting it.

C.S.
Barrett vs. Neville. No surprise there. Heel Kings are usually better, but I'm pulling for Neville anyway.

shoe
A nice Verne piece. Was it new or a retread from his HOF?
shoe
I'm loving Barrett's work on top here. Really good story telling that started in Neville's 1st match.
shoe
Barrett's work on top was awesome. Neville had a spirited comeback. Barrett cuts him off by attacking his back with Winds of Change. He sells a bit. Makes another comeback that builds to a real good finish. Strong match from both guys. Neville ate that Bull Hammer like a pro.
stomperspc
Liked the main event. Nice focus point with the rib/back work. Neville's selling and comebacks were strong as was most of Barrett's offense. Loved the Bobby Eaton slingshot backbreaker. Some good near falls and a well timed finish. shoe
They rushed everything. They could have trimmed a lot of the time on the interviews. Kept Barrett in the ring. etc I thought they'd been a little smarter with their time. As a show in general.

Kept Barrett in the ring. etc I thought they'd been a little smarter with their time. As a show in general. Yea, the whole thing could have been planned out better including when they held the tournament. I get that they are trying to load up this week to get the free April subscribers to stay on, but putting the tournament on next week or better yet, having it run multiple Tuesdays beginning with tonight would have forced free subscribers to re-up if they wanted to see the King of the Ring show(s). Instead it was announced, 1st round matches were placed randomly on RAW, and there was no time for anyone to get excited about the semi's and final. Doing something like two 1st round matches on RAW to introduce the tournament, two more tonight, semi's next week, and finals the week after would have let everything breathe more. It also would have allowed them to give more time to all of the matches.
fakeplastictrees
I don't understand this Barrett project. WWE has thrown him into a number of main events, gave him 5 IC title reigns, and position him at the front runner (and eventual winner) of NXT Season 1...and yet he still isn't as over as he should be. Some may blame this on his injuries which have resulted in his stop-start pushes, but in reality he should be more over than he currently is. BillThompson
He's actually been very over recently, but WWE cooled him down on purpose as they didn't like how over he was getting with the fans.
Johnny Sorrow
Well, they didn't like him getting good guy reactions to his "I'm afraid I've got some bad news" catchphrase and act. It was turning him good guy and that's not what they had in mind for him. It's a weird thing, since historically when that happens you run with it. The Chief
I'm liking this Sheamus vs Ziggler feud way better than I thought I would. Seriously it's one of my favorite things on WWE TV right now. Glad Barrett won, I think he can do some fun stuff with the gimmick. Hopefully he doesn't go on a losing streak to retired former kings like Booker, Regal, Billy Gunn, etc. They should do stuff like this every six weeks or so on the network. It did feel special and I enjoyed it.
MikeCampbell
I enjoyed Barrett/Neville a lot. Given that they'd already worked once tonight, it was clear that the match wasn't going to be too terribly long. But, they told a nice story with Neville's ribs, and used their limited time wisely, and had quite the nice finish.
sporadic
Going to echo others in this thread. Very good main event for the limited time given to both guys. They should do stuff like this every six weeks or so on the network. It did feel special and I enjoyed it. Agreed. I'd be up for them to run a G1 style or Real World Tag Team style tourney on the Network in the same vein. It'll make me want to go to it and stay on it more than I already do. I don't know if a Lethal Lottery/BattleBowl done by WWE in 2015 would be good......but it would be interesting and have me watching. A Japanese style tag tournament would be incredible and unlike anything WWE has booked in years bringing back KOTR, even if it was out of nowhere and kind of rushed and probably only happened due to Bryan being on the shelf, it gives me a bit of hope for the idea of "special events" that aren't PPVs being a thing they do more of on the Network
MikeCampbell
Instead of harping on the price, and doing promotions where a month is free. They should do more things like the Sheamus/Russev title change and the King of the Ring. More special events or matches that aren't on regular TV and can only be seen on the Network.
