Stop picking doesn't make sense when guys you still want are on the list. The problem is waiting a day and a half to get somebody who every week will have "defeated" in front of his name.

I look at the draft as a test to see if people can stay dedicated to the project?

 

We are the point of under card guys, in essence you could book out July now and have everything ready and just fill in the blanks with the guys you get.

 

Trav if you only want 5 guys, give the list to goc and he will pick them for you when your name comes up.

If everyone sent the top 10 names that are left that they want in the order that they want them in to Grimmas or KrisZ then we could just go through the rest of the draft order and when it got to your turn then you would get whatever wrestler is closest to the top of your list. We may need to give more names after 2-3 rounds but it'd still be faster than what we are doing now.

I can still write my shows with placeholders but I'd rather just figure out all my pieces before starting because there are still some guys that are more valuable than complete and total jobbers that are out there.

I think it would work better now though. I think there would be less conflicts in the list now that we're down to, for a lot of people, "who is your favorite jobber?" or "who was a jobber in your territory?"

I am cool (and always have been cool) with anybody that wants to sending in a list. Anybody that still wants to draft, please do. If you just want names picked off a list, you have that option too.

If you're bored then you can fill your time planning and writing shows. It's almost exclusively jobbers being drafted at this point, so it doesn't really affect booking plans as most will be filling the same role anyway.

Ok, I still actually have valuable pieces so my question to the: "Well I'm only picking jobbers now anyway" people: Why not give someone a list for you so that you're not on the clock with everyone waiting for you to draft a guy you don't give a shit about anyway.

 

When I've had to leave I've handed my picks off, KrisZ and Beast have both put in picks for me so I don't sit on the clock and make people wait even if I won't go over.

I actually really enjoyed that match and enjoyed his jobber work as Jerry Allen a couple of years later.

 

I'm just glad somebody else took El Bracero, as the one match I have on tape of his from 1975 isn't very good and he looked ancient then

He looks pretty shitty in his last run in All Star. I have seen some wrestlers who looked like they were on prison work release to come to that TV studio on Saturday mornings out work him by a mile on that show.
