puropotsy
The Wrestling Culture podcast is back but is now being hosted exclusively at Place 2 Be Nation!!! Dylan and Dave talk about the careers of Butch Miller and Luke WIlliams, better known as The Sheepherders and The Bushwhackers. Everything is discussed from their time with Andre the Giant to their hardcore brawls and eventually their days as sardine-eating minstrels. Please give it a listen and thanks for the support. http://placetobenation.com/wrestling-culture-i-like-to-herd-people/
KrisZ
The title alone makes this awesome
WingedEagle
The Return of Musgrave is definitely a July 4 special.

PeteF3
I know this wasn't supposed to focus on their WWF run, but I'm a little disappointed you didn't mention that in '96 the Bushwhackers actually did an angle with loose cannon Brian Pillman (Pillman clobbered one of them with his crutch after a match), which might be the most bizarre colliding of wrestling worlds in the history of the business. More bizarre than The Bushwhackers being Dudley Boyz in ECW for an evening?
PeteF3
Eh, the Bushwhackers aren't even the most bizarre kiddie-Big-Two-gimmick-to-be-associated-with-a-Dudley moment in ECW (that's heel PN News coming in to put over Spike Dudley). ZThomas
This makes me want to get the Portland 80's set, I first discovered DVDVR and this board around the time it was done and it led me to go search Portland on Youtube. I'm not familiar with Luke & Butch outside WWF except a bit of stampede footage and Bret's first DVD. Dylan & Kris needs to do an Exile on Bandstreet for Portland at some Point

I'm calling for a Puerto Rico project first! For what it's worth, there's a couple of podcasts that were put out by the Titans of Wrestling in the last year or two, covering some of the late 70's & early 80's Portland. Really good stuff if you haven't heard it - with looks at Rose/Martel, Rose/Piper, Rose/Adonis, and even a bit of the Sheeps if I recall correctly.
