Ricky Jackson
Something new and exciting for 2016---Mystery Titans Theatre*!!!Available only on YouTube. Watch along as Parv, Kelly and Johnny subject themselves to unimaginable wrestling horrors as they watch cards from yesteryear. You thought Heroes of Wrestling was bad? Ha! *Two out of three non-American hosts, so majority rules for spelling Pilot episode for those who missed it:

Ricky Jackson
Since this is a new concept/experiment, any feedback from those who watched would be greatly appreciated
thebrainfollower
I think you guys are doing the best job you possibly can with the material, spoofing it while still covering the historical elements where needed. Will give it a listen if you want your work picked apart, but honestly this was a blast to listen to from beginning to end and I really enjoyed it. I'd like a Hulkamania era house show or two covered.
Johnny Sorrow
I'd like a Hulkamania era house show or two covered. As long as it pretty much stinks, cause that's the point. No one wants to listen to guys crack wise and talk over GOOD cards.

I'm sure we'll do some Hogan era shows, since there are a ton of them with a ton of God awful wrestling. We have a few ideas for future shows that we think will be fun
JerryvonKramer
I am open to doing later cards, but we must be careful. Copywright is the key thing. We can't cover anything too high profile. WWE have made claims against the videos already (notably not for the whole thing, just against title matches and Andre-Studd specifically, which in itself is fascinating), but seem to be willing to let them stay up as long as they retain any profit to be made from ad revenue (ha ha, enjoy your millions Vince!). This is fine with me. However, I am pretty sure if we did something like a Wrestlemania, it would be yanked down almost immediately. We need stick with stuff on the fringes. Like maybe an obscure Boston card, or a Philly show. Maybe an old CHV. Stuff that is not in the typical WWE purview.
Johnny Sorrow
Look for our totally neutered version on the WWE YouTube channel in a year after they make us a lowball offer and we sell out faster than Jesse Owens running in the Berlin Olympics on meth. 😆
funkdoc
lol at calling the GWE stream "cult-like" people getting together to watch stuff and chat is a big thing these days. hell, a site where people do that while watching other people play video games got bought by amazon for about $1 billion. neat concept tho! Ricky Jackson
I have nothing against group watch and chats, just the one organized by that wannabe messiah who went nutty a few months back. Si what's his name
RCS1988
Parv, they will pull any Coliseum Video you upload. You should add to the picture 3 shadows heads facing the screen to make it feel like the true mystery science theatre 3000.
thebrainfollower
Johnny as far as not doing "good" cards, I would say this, don't do a GOOD card with GOOD commentary. On the other hand if the announce team is Pritchard, McGuirk and Doughtery you are doing us ALL a favor by dubbing them out.
bradhindsight
Totally dig the concept and enjoying the '77 card so far.
JerryvonKramer
Kelly and Parv sit through another Cap Centre card. Tune in to find out what Tony Garea's so angry about? And ALL HAIL Mr. Fuji and his new suit!
thebrainfollower
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0b5UhDYo0k This is the PERFECT card for you guys. All jobber vs jobber. The "quality" matches are as follows Demolition vs Spivey and Jerry Allen Koko B Ware vs. Danny Davis (20 minute time limit draw) Harts - Bulldogs (goes only 6 minutes) This is the very definition of a C or maybe even a D show from the time and it was filmed, something very rare for those shows. Ricky Jackson
Great find! All it needs is a Mr Fuji match
JerryvonKramer
Parv, Kelly and Johnny make a rare Titans foray into 1985 for this entertaining Boston card.
soup23
Damn, you guys are going at too fast a clip. I just finished the first one this morning. Holy crap was the action bad although I did think Parv was too tough on Mac Rivera. The Baron was also royally screwed in the first contest and Big John Studd rose up my ranks quickly of laziest wrestler of all time.
Migs
Seeing as how this is basically the way I listen to Tag Teams Back Again (with the matches on while the podcast plays), this sounds awesome.
thebrainfollower
I've got that Koko - Rick Steiner match Johnny. Wanna say it's on the network too.
thebrainfollower
I kinda liked the last Boston card. To me it needed one more quality match (I'd love to have seen Terry Funk vs Randy Savage in 85 but I wanna keep both guys heels so that's out) to have been a really good card. I've got about 50 or so house shows if you guys need more but I doubt you guys are in need of footage. The October 1990 MSG show is really mediocre for the time and headlined by Dusty-Dibiase which I felt was not quite a big enough feud to headline MSG sadly. Other mediocre MSG shows would include IMO Feb 88, Aug 86, Oct 85 and particularly Sept 84 (though that is Bobby Heenan's WWF debut)
garretta
Excellent work, gentlemen. I'm going through the '77 card, and I'm not sure if you mentioned this at some point in the last few bouts, but while the MSG Network fans were seeing Martel/Race from Australia, the live crowd was getting a match that would be right down this show's alley: Dominic DeNucci against the Golden Terror. I don't think much was missed, though: they fought to a double countout.
Ricky Jackson
Yeah I kinda wish we got to see that match instead. Lol. Race and Martel was too workratey for my tastes
JerryvonKramer
This is probably the most fun one yet.
