JerryvonKramer Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 Well, I said "posh for an aussie", heh heh
Jimmy Redman Posted April 15, 2016 Author Report Posted April 15, 2016 Fair point. It's my posh "ahh"s in France and dance. How I reconcile that with using G'day unironically I don't know.
Matt D Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 The first unironic G'Day was a treat, let me tell you.
Badlittlekitten Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 Yeah, Jimmy sounds well posh. In a good way.
Superstar Sleeze Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 I thought Jimmy did a very nice job on Owen Hart.
JerryvonKramer Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 Stacey has an anti pot-belly bias! (Race, Murdoch)
Ricky Jackson Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 3 part was fun too, can't wait until you get into the serious picks
JAC Posted April 19, 2016 Report Posted April 19, 2016 These podcasts have brought to light some interesting contrarian alternative perspectives from Matt D and Stacey. I find them very refreshing, and have agreed with quite a number of them. Stacey joins Parv and Charles as my favourite PWO podcast voices--she has what we'd call a "CBC Voice", although I suppose "ABC Voice" might be more appropriate in her case.
ohtani's jacket Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Made it through part three. The Sheamus rant was the high point.
DR Ackermann Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Enjoying the series so far, but I think you may have mistitled the podcast. With the S's at the end you are saying there are multiply incredible couples not just the one. Maybe that was your intention?
Matt D Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 It's ironic? Maybe it represents her putting Angle and Triple H next to each other? Maybe it warns people we butcher the Spanish language frequently?
DR Ackermann Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Well it's a cool name anyway. You guys should do more podcasts after the GWE.
Matt D Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Thanks. We're just trying to finish our lists up now. It's been a lot of fun though. I'm glad you're enjoying them.
DR Ackermann Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 I don't mean this as a knock on anyone else, as I listen to and enjoy a lot of the podcasts by PWO regulars, but it is nice to hear some differing perspectives. Although I don't see eye-to-eye with Jimmy Redman on a lot of wrestling, i always enjoy and respect her take as much as Matt D's. As long as its well thought-out and articulated, the more diversity the better.
