This is a special series preview for a new ongoing podcast from Kelly Nelson (Titans of Wrestling, Tag Teams Back Again) that will spotlight individual wrestlers and their history at the "Mecca of Professional Wrestling". This episode provides a brief history of three different buildings known as Madison Square Garden, covering such figures as "The Solid Man" William Muldoon, George Hackenschmidt, Frank Gotch, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, "The Golden Greek" Jim Londos, Danno O'Mahoney, and many others.

*Also, I pledge to keep episodes in the 45 minute range, perfect for those finding it difficult to consume all this media in the 21st century!

This was an amazing ride through history. I found it really engaging the various stop/starts and middling success wrestling had at the Garden throughout its early history. Londos really feels like a difference maker not only from an attendance standpoint but also from shortening the length of the matches overall. The architecture of the various Gardens was also really interesting.

From double crosses, sinking ships, and political maneuverings. I can't recommend this podcast highly enough.

Haha...I assume that's a complement. Forgive me, but I don't recognize the names

Edit: ok I googled and I know who they are but am not too familiar with their work. Personally, I was going for the guy who narrates Ken Burns docs type vibe

I really enjoyed this one, a great history lessen.

One suggestion though, when you're talking about matches available on Youtube, you could put links inthe the info text. I often listen to podcasts on the way to and from work and tend to forget to seek them out later, so by giving the link I could bookmark it insantly on my smartphone.

Finally got around to listening, and this was fantastic. I'd never make time to seek out and read this material for myself, so it's awesome to just conveniently toss this on and let you guide us through everything. Highly informative stuff, man.

And big thumbs up for some of the music selections. Very fitting & nicely done all around.

Thanks a lot. My love for music is as great as my love for wrestling and history, so this is a truly a passion project for me.

And for those wondering, I'm about 70% done the first Bruno show. I should have it done and ready to drop in a couple weeks at the latest
