Ricky Jackson
Episode #16 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-16 June 5, 1982 (WCCW 24) HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT EPISODE ALERT!!! Chunger cuts a promo! Kevin gives up boots! Tom Shaft officially clinches Worst Wrestler Ever! A world without World Cast is a world without awesome! GFAllentown
I watched it on the Network this morning before listening and I laughed so hard when Shaft kicked out at 4. The Chunger promo was amazing but he did have one appearance on Buddy Rogers Corner in July 1983 in the WWF. I wish Kim Duk could have crossed paths with The Sandman and had a kendo stick match. Then they have beers afterward as a sign of respect.
Ricky Jackson
Parv loses his smile, so we lose Chunger on Rogers Corner
Ricky Jackson
Landy, post that Chunger appearance on Rogers Corner asap
GFAllentown
It's July 2, 1983 episode of CW. Now if I remember, Chunger does not get as much time to talk as he does here which is a shame because the guy is positively Churchillian. Shrike02
Parv loses his smile, so we lose Chunger on Rogers Corner Could this cryptic comparison be elaborated upon?
Ricky Jackson
Parv loses his smile = Parv stops watching wrestling = Titans cancelled just before we start 1983 = no chance at seeing Rogers Corner with Chunger in July 1983
Johnny Sorrow
That's why we're now the Monkees circa 86.
landy1987
Blassie did all the talking on the Rogers' Corner segment, I did find one WWF promo of Chunger's though https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fZerESVLJpwwjjJuNWFZf6uEP-IDeZgl

GFAllentown
Just watched the 83 promo, what an orator. I'm inspired. JFK: Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. Reagan: Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall. Ricky Jackson
Episode 17 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-17 June 26, 1982 (WCCW 27) We at World Cast pledge never, NEVER to miss a Wednesday...even if the recording date is screwed up and we have no choice but to release an episode slotted for early January as a fill in. AND THAT TIME IS NOW! Hopefully this isn't too confusing, as the boys jump ahead a few weeks to witness a pretty bland episode of World Class. But we have new commentators! (the backup tight end for the Cowboys?!?!) We have vignettes! (done poorly) We have extremely hairy wrestlers! (Well, just one) And through it all, we have Good Ol' Al to save us with another ** mindbender. Catch us next week for our regularly scheduled episode looking at Star Wars: The Super Bowl of Wrestling!!!!! (Let everyone else go nuts over The Last Jedi)

Ricky Jackson
Which ones? Just the regular week to week tv?
conker8
Yes, the regular TV show. There is only 5 episodes in 1982 (starting 6/27/82) but for 1983, a lot more is available.
Ricky Jackson
Yeah, I could see us checking them out eventually
Ricky Jackson
Episode 18 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-18-star-wars-the-super-bowl-of-wrestling-review June 4, 1982 (WCCW 25, 26 & part of 28) Forget about trying to get tickets to that movie and join Pete, Kelly and Johnny for a double-sized look at Star Wars: The Super Bowl of Wrestling/Fritz Von Erich's Retirement Show, from a,..ahem...relatively well-attended Texas Stadium! The boys look at a crazy good ladies match, a hollow match featuring legendary luchadores, a contender for worst battle royal ever, an epic battle between Kerry Von Erich and Harley Race, and, of course, the "Immortal" Fritz Von Erich vs King Kong Bundy in a (the first ever?) Falls Count Anywhere match. So grab a seat (there are thousands to choose from) and join us for another wacky episode of World Cast!
Ricky Jackson
Episode 0 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-0-1981-christmas-star-wars-xmas-special December 25, 1981 (Link to show: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9HIb3xzfEnlTFZ3cWpld0VwT1E/view?usp=sharing) Santa Claus is real folks, and this morning he just dropped a special World Cast episode for all the good boys and girls out there!Pete, Kelly and Johnny couldn’t get enough of the, shall we say, lesser elements of 1982 WCCW, so they decided to dip into 1981 and really wallow in the muck. Marvel at a not so exciting brass knuckles title match, a not so light challenger for the light heavyweight title, a not so easy to follow two ring 6-man tag team match, a not so impressive Texas Death match, and, yet again, a not so great battle royal. But the boys have the Christmas spirit and, like they always do, make watching a crummy show a whole lot of fun. Merry Christmas and thanks for listening to World Cast in 2017! thebrainfollower
I have said it before and I will say it again nothing brings the best out of the Titans (or 3/4 of them) than a terrible card! This was a great Christmas night treat. I do have my own King Kong Bundy story to match Johnny Sorrow's. I met him at in indy show in Worcester MA around 2007 and had him autograph my VHS of Wrestlemania 2. As we are chatting I place my wallet on his table like an idiot and then turn to say something to a friend. When I turn back it's gone. I do a mini panic (as there was quite a bit of cash in it) for about a minute until Bundy produces it from his back pocket (and I had turned around for maybe 4 seconds). He and I bust out laughing, he says it's pretty sad if someone his size is too stealthy for me. Ninja Bundy!
Ricky Jackson
Episode 19 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-19 July 10, 1982 (WCCW 29) The boys ring in 2018 discussing a very good episode of WCCW TV. Things get off to an auspicious start with a turgid match out of the gate (if you are a fan of star babyface referee David Manning this one is for you), but then we get some really out there vignettes followed by an amazing PENALTY BOX MATCH between Kerry/Kevin and Kabuki/Dragon!!! Definitely one of the best matches we've seen so far, folks. World Cast and Wednesdays: Better than Peanut Butter and Jelly, and meant to last forever, like Sonny and Cher
