Bobby Heenan w/ King Kong Bundy: Atlantic City baby… tonight right here on the Boardwalk… we deliver the Avalanche to END Hulkamania! That’s right Hogan… I have already phoned Chicago… you won’t be at WrestleMania… you won’t even make it out of Atlantic City tonight!

Ted Dibiase w/ The Big Bossman: Haha… I told everyone that I was made of money and I wasn’t lying. I made close to $100,000 today down on the boardwalk. That kind of money is going to go right back to the table when I gamble it all tonight Andre. You may be a giant among men but I am a giant with my wallet and tonight I have got just enough money to shrink you down to size. HAHAH!

Andre the Giant: Ted Dibiase… I know you are a dangerous man with you money but tonight no money will save you from me!

Manny Fernandez w/ Rick Rude: I can see red right now Randy Savage. When one member of the Family is around… the others are sure to follow and brother we are coming for you! We are coming to put you down!

Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth: OHHHH YEAAAAHHHH! Manny Fernandez the ragin bull tonight you step in the ring with the Macho Man dig it! Now I may not be a matador but brother you look into my eyes and you see the red. I am coming for you like a Savage man brother. I am coming for you with the passion of 1,000 fires and they are going to come down on your with the force of an atomic bomb in the form of an elbow drop right through your chest. OHHHHH YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!

Jimmy Hart: I am so sick and tired of hearing everyone talk about Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. Well tonight boys… I am going to make sure you don’t make it out of this match with anything because it may end up being more than you bargained for!

Bret Hart w/ Jim Neidhart: I guess Jimmy Hart has a plan for us tonight Anvil and quite honestly, that’s the way we like it. We want you and the Fabs at their best so that we can prove to everyone we are the best tag team. We’ll take those titles and show the world why we’re number one!

Hulk Hogan: Well I came up the coast this week and I saw all the waves crashing into the Boardwalk but there was a brisk wind in the air. I saw some snow start to fall and I saw the ice start to form and it made me wonder. Just what would happen if an Avalanche hit Hulkamania. Would I have the power to survive? Would all of the Hulkamaniacs out there be able to hang out? Well tonight King Kong Bundy… I have got some Avalanche insurance and tonight we are going to take care of you and show the world that Hulkamania is the strongest force in the world and can not only withstand anything but will destroy you!

Vince: Welcome everyone to Atlantic City and Saturday Night’s Main Event! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Venutra. Jesse, what a night we have in store for the fans right here on NBC.

Jesse: Very rarely do you get to see a show this caliber on television McMahon but tonight we have got one for the ages.

Vince: It all starts off with the big guy… Andre the Giant taking on Ted Dibiase.

Jesse: A classic wrestler vs brawler. I think Dibiase has the smarts to take Andre out and if it isn’t the smarts, I know he’s got the money!

Vince: We’ll see about that. Then we have the big eight-man tag!

Jesse: I spoke with Jimmy Hart earlier today… he has got just what he needs to make sure Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart never wrestle again after tonight and Demolition may just be collateral damage!

Vince: From there we have Randy Savage taking on Manny Fernandez!

Jesse: I will never pick against Randy Savage as I do feel he is one of the best all around wrestlers in the world but I know tonight he’s got some extra fire and he will need to keep it under control!

Vince: And of course we’ve got the big WWF Championship contest. Hulk Hogan defends against King Kong Bundy!

Jesse: I said it before and I will say it again. Hulkamania isn’t Avalanche proof. I have seen him hurt from it before and tonight he will be hurt from it again and it will cost him the title!

Vince: Fans what a night we have in store for you… let’s head to the ring!

Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase w/ Big Bossman

-A pretty solid contest here from Andre who is never on television. He and Dibiase play a fun cat and mouse game but the real play comes from the Bossman outside the ring. He is doing everything but jumping in there to get involved. Andre does finally get his hands on Dibiase and he sells like crazy for him. Teddy flies all around the ring and Andre looks fantastic before chaos ensues when the Bossman jumps in the ring but Andre catches him and headbutts him! The crowd is stirring but then out of nowhere it is Stan Hansen! Hansen comes out of the shadows with a big lariat and Andre stumbles but it is 3 on 1 and then tie Andre up. Hansen then grabs the cowbell and starts digging it into Andre’s head and he’s busted wide open. Officials and agents come out and Hansen is pounding everyone! Dibiase and Bossman all but retreat here to the madman from Borger Texas who is just going NUTS! Andre breaks free and starts after Hansen. Andre is bleeding profusely from the head as Hansen is up the aisle, running for his life.

We return to SNME with a special promo from Jimmy Hart and his Family. They are putting over how they are the ones who dumped the Harts and it wasn’t the other way around. The Fabulous Ones make note and say that they will be Fabulous Winners here tonight and the Hammer vows to break a leg while Honky says he is going to Shake, Rattle, and Roll!

The Hart Foundation & Demolition vs Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man & The Fabulous Ones

-A pretty fun contest here with all eight-men getting involved here and there. This one goes about 14-minutes with the big happening of the Harts and Fabs lighting up the crowd. The momentum turns however when we see Mr. Fuji come out and he and Jimmy Hart are talking. Jesse and Vince are trying to make note of what is going on here. Inside the ring we see Bret Hart getting double teamed. He goes to make a tag but Demolition both drop down to the ground. The Anvil jumps down and asks what’s going on before Demolition turn on him and start beating him down outside the ring! What in the world is going on here?!? Demolition is beating the hell out of the Anvil. Inside the ring, Bret Hart is picked up by Lane and Kiern and we see the Crescent Kick to German Suplex finish for the 3-count. Ax and Smash put the boots to the Anvil and then go over and shake hands with Mr. Fuji! We see some more of the beatdown in the ring with the Hart Foundation getting beaten up by the Hart Family before we cut to the back with Mean Gene and Demolition!

Mean Gene is going wild on Demolition about what happened but they make their case plain and simple. They say that they had the tag titles from the Fabulous Ones but they were outdone by a manager! They are trying to get their rematch but couldn’t get it done without a Manager! So they went to the most devious of all managers in the WWF and Mr. Fuji has signed Demolition. He promises to take them to the top of the WWF mountain and to make sure everyone in their path will feel pain and destruction!

SNME is back with Randy Savage and Lord Alfred Hayes in the back. Savage is putting over his feud with the Heenan Family and says tonight he is going to be bringing some backup just in case Heenan and the Family show their faces!

Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan

-A pretty fun contest with Savage who is white hot right now as a babyface and Heenan who is garnering some major heat due to the Windham stuff. This one goes about 6-minutes before getting a little scratchy when Barry Windham and Rick Rude come out to the ring but then we see Curt Hennig and Billy Jack Haynes come out and join Savage. The final 10-minutes of the contest see a lot of mind games out of the Heenan crew but when chaos ensues it is Savage who comes out on top with a huge flying crossbody taking out Fernandez for a 3-count! Savage, Haynes, and Hennig stare down the Heenan Family who retreat. Bobby has his big one coming up or else maybe he would stay and fight!

We head to the back with Mean Gene standing by with Ted Dibiase and the Bossman. They put over what they did to Andre the Giant here tonight and what is going to happen to Hulk Hogan in just a couple of minutes. They put over how WrestleMania is within arms reach and so is the WWF title. Dibiase is going to put everything on the line and will do whatever it takes to get the title and put an end to Hulkamania!

SNME is back with Hulk Hogan and Mean Gene and the Hulkster is juiced to the gills and ready to explode right now. He is putting over Bundy and SNME but also turns his attention to Hansen, Dibiase, and Bossman. He says that no matter what happens tonight, he has got a backup plan. He knows Dibiase will go to any costs to try and take the WWF title but he will bring everything and maybe even the kitchen sink to get through this fight.

WWF CHAMPIONSHIP

Hulk Hogan vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan

-Big time main event in the late hour spot here on SNME but it is worth the wait for Hogan and Bundy who do battle for about 12-minutes. A little stalling and big man work from Bundy but it proves the point that the big man could take the title from Hogan given the right circumstance. Heenan is outside of the ring really pushing this over the top and he is getting involved every chance he gets. The Hulkster has to find a way to fight back and when he does the crowd erupts but it ends ever so quickly as it began. We finally see Bundy go for the big AVALANCHE in the corner and he puts Hogan down. Bundy then hits the ropes for another big splash but Hogan moves and Hulks up! The crowd is really going wild for the Hulkster right now as he gets up and starts hammering away at Bundy. A couple of big rights and then an Axe Bomber before a bodyslam! Hogan goes for the leg drop but Heenan grabs his leg. This causes the distraction for Ted Dibiase and The Bossman to run down to the ring and attack the Hulkster who is having a hard time fighting them off! It was all a trap to get Hogan! They hurt Andre earlier in the night to lead to this! All of a sudden we see a figure coming down the aisle… is that….

WILLIAM REFRIGERATOR PERRY! The Fridge from the Superbowl Champion Bears is here and he jumps in the ring and pushes Ted Dibiase and Bossman off of Hogan. Bundy then lines up to charge him but the Fridge comes back with a huge shoulder block and Bundy stumbles back. Hogan gets back up to his feet and stands side by side with the Fridge! McMahon says that “Hogan may have forgotten the kitchen sink but he didn’t forget to bring the Fridge for this fight!” Jesse can’t believe these Shenanigans as Hogan gets on the microphone and announces that the Fridge is going to be in his corner at WrestleMania to make sure that the Bossman keeps his nose out of the title match! The crowd pops and what an end to SNME! We’ll see you on Prime Time on Monday!

WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling

Prime Time opens with footage from SNME. They put over the beatdown of Andre the Giant, Demolition turning on the Hart Foundation, the coalition with Randy Savage to take on the Heenan Family, and the big main event with Hulk Hogan defeating King Kong Bundy! Jesse and Gorilla put over the night’s action and the big trio of matches all leading to WrestleMania is just a couple of weeks. They said they will have an updated card at the end of the night tonight. We then cut to the ring for our big opening contest with six-man action!

SIX-MAN TAG

Bull Ganter, Paul Roma, & Jim Powers w/ Superstar Graham vs Hercules, Nikolai, & The One Man Gang w/ Slick

-A pretty fun 13-minutes six-man tag with the size and strength of Slick’s Army really coming to fruition. They are showing these guys a thing or two but we get to see the Bull come back in a big way. He is hammering down with some big time shots. The Bull looks great but it just isn’t enough. We see the team of Roma and Powers do some good work but the big moment happens when Jim Powers looks to finish off Nikolai with a dropkick but he moves and Powers NAILS Roma and he goes flying out of the ring. Powers is looking on but here comes Hercules from behind with a full nelson! He is locked up on powers as Bull and Gang are fighting outside the ring. Powers goes up and comes down with a full-nelson slam for the 3-count! Slick and company all get out of there looking strong!

We then see another instance of Roma and Powers really arguing! Roma walks off as Powers is trying to apologize but nothing doing. Bull is trying to get them together but this is something.

Prime Time is back and we hear from Mr. Fuji who is with Demolition, Sika, and Don Muraco. He puts over his stable and says that they are going to destroy everyone in their path. He says he has signed for Don Muraco to face Randy Savage next week for the Intercontinental Championship and his Demolition will be there to make sure that they walk away with the title! Mean Gene says it has been announced as a lumberjack match right here on Prime Time next week! We’ll hear from Savage later on!

Lanny Poffo vs Don Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji

-A pretty good beatdown from Muraco who has had a lot of victories leading up to this contest next week against Randy Savage for the IC title. Jesse and Gorilla put over the idea of a lumberjack match and how dangerous is can be. They wonder what will happen with all of those arms and legs outside the ring and just who will prevail! Muraco hits the modified tombstone for the victory here tonight!

We head back to the booth where we see the British Bulldogs come out. They put over the tag team ranks of the WWF and say that Demolition are a disgrace! They talk about someone turning their back on friends is no one to be trusted and no one to be respected. The Bulldogs say that they will be lumberjacks next week and hopefully they can keep order outside the ring!

Prime Time is back with Randy Savage in the booth with Gorilla and Jesse. They are putting over the big WrestleMania match with Windham. He says that he is amassing an army to take on the Heenan Family! He is coming with everything he’s got to get it done. He then puts over the big Lumberjack match next week against Don Muraco! He says that he has to defend the title but he is going to hold on to it to defend it against Windham and he will not only defend it but regain the crown!

Sting & The Tonga Kid vs Rick Rude & Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan

-A really fun tag team encounter with a very young Sting teaming with The Tonga Kid. They’ve got some speed and strength but Rude and Fernandez are a notch above. Heenan does a masterful job outside the ring and gets Sting’s attention leading to a double team by Fernandez and Rude and a Rude Awakening for a 3-count. Rude and Fernandez win the contest and work the crowd outside the ring while Sting checks on Tonga Kid inside the ring. He looks out to the fans….

 

Sting leaps out of the ring and lands on Fernandez and Rude! The crowd is going nuts! Agents and officials come out as Sting works the crowd! This guy has got something!

Prime Time finishes up this week with Andre the Giant coming out and talking with Jesse and Gorilla. He says that he has signed a contract to take on Stan Hansen at WrestleMania and will show him why he is the one true giant in the sport and he will make sure Hansen feels what it’s like to be in there with a GIANT! The crowd pops for Andre who will be at WrestleMania!

I love how the managers were so involved in the big angles on SNME. It really gives the show an accurate 80s feel, and it's something I very much miss these days.

SNME delivers on all 4 matches and keeps everything moving forward. Heenan and Hart make out like bandits in the process. The Refrigerator! Nice twist at the end.

 

Great finish to Prime Time. Sting gets some payback for a loss in a memorable way. And count me in for Hansen vs. Andre!!

Another awesome Saturday Night's Main Event! Andre vs. Hansen is a huge draw for Wrestlemania. Heel Demolition is going to be a game changer for the tag division. Savage vs. Windham will be outstanding...WM2 in our world is already shaping up to be a much better card than IRL.

Count me in as loving the Andre/Hansen match for WrestleMania! SNME was such a great set up for WrestleMania. Liked Fridge coming out and great idea having him in Hogan's corner at WrestleMania. Demolition and Fuji together spells danger for the tag team ranks. I'm really enjoying the Roma/Powers problems and looking forward to the blow off. Sting is on the verge of a breakout. Once again, loved the SNME promos, Dibiase's was classic.

WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling

Prime time opens this week with footage from SNME again and the announcement of William Perry being in the corner of Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania. We then see a lot of build up from Gorilla and Jesse on the main event tonight for the IC Championship. We will also have an updated card for WrestleMania at the end of the evening tonight so stay tuned. We then cut to the ring for our big opening contest!

 

Brutus Beefcake vs King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan

-A good opener with some big names but the big story is King Kong Bundy and his recent issues with Hulk Hogan and then tonight his brutal beatdown of Brutus who plays the foil well. He hits a couple of avalanches in the corner and then we see Rude and Fernandez come out and they are trying to get him to continue the onslaught before the crowd pops for Sting, Tonga Kid, and Billy Jack Haynes (with his ribs heavily tapped!) They jump into the ring and back the Heenan crew off…

 

Billy Jack jumps on commentary and tells everyone that he has got a couple of things to say to the Heenan Family and he wants to have a special word with King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania! Curt Hennig joins the crew out here tonight and it is announced for next week a six-man tag with Hennig, Sting, & Tonga taking on Bundy, Rude, and Fernandez! Billy Jack says he will be in the corner for his buddies just to make sure Bobby Heenan DOESN’T get involved!

Prime Time is back with Heenan and his family around the podium. They put over the six-man next week but now Barry Windham joins them. He puts over his match with Randy Savage and says that he will be there tonight for the Lumberjack match… he hopes Savage doesn’t lose tonight because he’s the one who wants to take the IC title from him at WrestleMania but he won’t be surprised if Savage doesn’t make it through the evening! Heenan says that Bundy is all lined up to take on Billy Jerk Haynes at Mania if he is healthy… if not he will be joining Manny Fernandez in the $20,000 battle royal! As for Rick Rude, he is going to show Curt Hennig a thing or two and why he made the wrong choice instead of the perfect choice to join the Family!

Prime Time is back with footage from Superstars and the turn by Paul Roma on Jim Powers. We see Gang, Roma, Hercules, and Nikolai all at the podium with Gorilla and Jesse. Slick is putting over his men in a big way and says they have all been signed up to win that $20,000 at WrastleMania! He says that tonight he is going to unleash his mightiest Russian, Nikolai Volkoff on that good for nothing Bull Ganter and show him what it is all about!

 

Bull Ganter w/ Superstar Graham vs Nikolai Volkoff w/ Slick

-A really fun midcard contest with Bull Ganter REALLY gaining some steam in recent weeks.The crowd is getting behind him with the help of Superstar Graham. He can still talk the talk and help Bull get to the top. This one is a power vs power match but the Bull has got a little more steam in the engine. We see Nikolai go for a running knee lift but Bull ducks out of the way before hitting the ropes and then a huge shoulder block that knocks Nikolai over the top rope to the floor! Bull then goes out on the apron and runs off with a big clothesline and Nikolai is down! Slick tries to come from behind with a cane shot but Superstar grabs it and nails him! Bull makes it in the ring for the count of 10 and gets the victory! The crowd pops in a big way here for Bull and Superstar as they go over to the podium!

 

Bull and Superstar put over WrestleMania and talk about Bull being involved in the big $20,000 battle royal. He says this is the biggest payday of the year for him and he will go through every member of Slick’s Army to get his hands on that money. He puts over how Roma turned on Powers but Bull says that he, Powers, and the Rockers would love a shot at Slick’s Army down the line. He says that the battle lines have been drawn and now it is time for WAR!

 

*COMMERCIAL*

 

Prime Time is back with Jimmy Hart and his crew. The Tag Champs look Fabulous while the Hammer seems to be a little distraught! Honky continues to move and shake around while Jimmy puts over the big tag team championship match for Mania and says that Bret and Jim Neidhart have no heart and whatever they have left will be smooshed come WrestleMania. He then says that the Honky Tonk Man is going to shake, rattle, and roll his way to $20,000 in the big battle royal! Then Jimmy turns his attention to Dino Bravo. He and Greg Valentine just obliterate him on the microphone. They run him down and run down the who country of Canada which doesn’t go over well here at all in Brantford. The crowd then explodes when Dino Bravo and the Hart Foundation walk out! They are Canada's own and they are standing up to the Hart Family! Dino Bravo says that he will be at WrestleMania to defeated Greg Valentine but he doesn’t want to wait! The Harts are holding him back while the Fabs and Honky hold back Valentine. Jimmy Hart is still running his mouth on the microphone before Bravo is able to get his hand on him and push him away! The crowd is white hot for this one!

Prime Time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over the big night and our huge main event with Savage and Muraco. They put over more the idea of all of these men who will be outside the ring and the feuds that could break loose in a minute’s notice out there. We cut to the ring for this huge contest!

 

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
LUMBERJACK MATCH

-What a main event. These guys get some time. The issues outside the ring do start to overshadow the issue inside the ring with so many men out there and all the feuds we’ve seen set up for Mania. We see officials and agents come out and perhaps tell them to take a back seat to what happens inside the ring here and we see a very fun 16-minute contest. Barry Windham comes out midway through the contest and serves as a distraction for Savage who attempts to go out there a fight him a couple of different times but to no avail! The final moments see some chaos as outside of the ring we see the British Bulldogs chest up with Demolition and then all hell breaks loose as they continue to fight outside the ring. Then we have Mr. Fuji get involved and nail Savage in the back with the cane while the referee’s back is turned. This leads to Muraco rolling him up for a 3-count and a presumed victory as the crowd is shocked. Tito Santana however gets up on the apron and he explains what happened to the referee much to the chagrin of Jesse Ventura who can’t believe he’s sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong! The referee restarts the match and Savage comes with a high knee that nails Muraco into Fuji on the apron. Savage rolls him up and gets the victory and retains the title. Muraco and Fuji are arguing with the referee as Savage holds up the title. He then looks out and jumps over the ropes to go after Barry Windham! The crowd is going wild as all the wrestlers are getting involved to try and hold these two apart! Savage isn’t able to get his hands on him as Windham and the Heenan Family retreat! My oh my what could happen when these two get their hands on one another at WrestleMania?!?

Really good development of Bull so far. Jesse's reaction to Tito is absolutely perfect. Good work on the Roma turn too. Looks like Slick has both power and glory now.

Great card lined up for Mania 2! The Roma turn was a classic 80's heel turn with a nice slow build. I always prefered heel Roma. Great Lumberjack match with Savage/Muraco!

Another great round of shows as WrestleMania season is in full swing! Love the hype for the Battle Royal. The Roma turn was executed with perfection. Bull is gaining serious momentum. The Savage/Windham match will be all kinds of awesome. I also loved the Ventura going off on Santana, totally great 80s stuff right there. Chicago is one lucky city to have Mania 2 coming.

Bull Ganter almost definitely would have had a decent WWF run "in real life" if his steroid abuse hadn't led to fatal kidney issues. It's nice to see him get his run here.

Prime Time opens this week with Gorilla and Jesse running down the WrestleMania card and how tonight we will have the final card released. They are welcomed in by Mr. Fuji who is with Don Muraco & Demolition. They say they are going to be in the corner of Sika tonight as he goes up against Tito Santana. Fuji announces that Sika will be in the $20,000 battle royal! We cut to the ring!

 

Tito Santana vs Sika w/ Mr. Fuji

-Well Sika isn’t the only one here alone… Tito brings out the British Bulldogs to help with the odds. This one is pretty fun for the crowd as the fighting starts to go all over the area. The finish sees Demo and Muraco getting involved only for the Bulldogs to help things. The finish sees Santana hit the flying forearm but the big man goes back through the ropes. Tito then hits the ropes and comes with a flying dropkick and Sika goes flying off of the apron into Demolition and Muraco! All four men are laid out while the referee counts to 10 and Santana gets the win. He and the Bulldogs celebrate and head over to the announce table.

 

Tito and the Bulldogs put over the big win tonight and say they have challenged the team of Muraco and Demolition to a six-man tag at WrestleMania! Fuji comes over and accepts and we have got another big one signed!

Prime time is back and we see the team of Brian Blair and Jim Brunzell… the Killer Bees! They are back in the WWF and put over traveling throughout the country and battling some of the top teams in the country. They put over how the best tag team competition in the world is right here in the WWF and they are looking to challenge any and all comers.

 

The Rockers vs Los Conquistadors

-A really fun contest for the Rockers who will be in eight-man tag team action in next week’s main event. They will join Bull Ganter and Jim Powers in taking on Slick’s Army of One Man Gang, Nikolai Volkoff, Hercules, & Paul Roma! Tonight they handle Los Conquistadors with ease and hit a big double fist drop for the victory!

 

We then see Slick’s Army come out and put over the big eight-man next week! They also put over the $20,000 battle royal and say that they have the best chances to walk out with the money and to make sure that everyone knows their place!

Prime Time is back with Ted Dibiase and Big Bossman. They are putting over the WrestleMania main event with Hulk Hogan. Dibiase says he has taken every dollar he had left and put everything on himself to win at WrestleMania. He says it isn’t a gamble when he knows the outcome and that Hulk Hogan is going to pay the ultimate price in Chicago. Speaking of Chicago, Ted Dibiase has got the Big Bossman to make sure that that oversized punk William Perry doesn’t get involved! He is going to secure law and order the right way along with making sure that everyone understands that his reign as WWF champion will be one that no one will ever forget. Gorilla and Jesse put over how next week we will see Hulk Hogan here on the show and he will have William Perry with him!

Prime Time is back with Billy Jack out here with Hennig, Sting, and Tonga Kid. Billy Jack is lined up to take on King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania and he says the ribs will be healed. Curt Hennig is set to show Rick Rude why he is the perfect wrestler! Sting and Tonga Kid are going to be in the $20,000 Battle Royal and are looking to help each other out until it comes to the end and then it is every man for himself! The crowd then erupts when Randy Savage comes out and he is on fire. He is running down Barry Windham and says that he is coming for Windham! He is going to make sure that he feels the pain! He may have lost the crown but he will not lose the title and he will never lose Elizabeth. Savage is going to stay on and you can tell Jesse is pumped to do commentary with him...

 

SIX MAN TAG

Curt Hennig, Sting, & Tonga Kid w/ Billy Jack Haynes vs King Kong Bundy, Rick Rude, & Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan

-A HOT main event with some of the brightest stars in the WWF right now and a lot of stories going into it. There is a lot of taunting with Bundy right now as he is making gestures at Haynes who has the busted ribs. The highlight of the night is seeing a slick ass exchange between Rude and Hennig and they catch as catch can pretty hot before we then cut to Sting who comes in like a house of fire. He is so green but damn he has got SO much energy when he runs inside that ring. He brings some big time power but he is run down by the big King Kong Bundy. The Heenan Family has the cohesion but the energy of the babyfaces is enough to drive them tonight. The finish sees Haynes pulls the ropes down on Bundy who goes flying out of the ring to the floor! Sting with another death defying leap over the top rope and landing on the big man. This all leads to Tonga Kid hitting the ropes and nailing a flying headbutt on Fernandez who runs into a German Suplex with a bridge from Hennig for the 1...2….3!! The crowd goes nuts here with the HOT finish as Sting, Hennig, and Tonga all celebrate with Billy Jack in the ring. The crew all celebrate and work the crowd…

Bobby Heenan then comes out and says Savage is a real big man for calling out Windham when he isn’t here! Savage jumps over the announce desk and he is looking to go after the Brain but out of the shadows comes Windham! He nails Savage with a chop block taking out the knee! Windham starts to stomp and kick away with Heenan as they are tearing after Savage. Here come agents and officials to try and break things up as the crowd is irate! Gorilla and Jesse put over the Mania Card and this. They talk about the big eight-man next week!

Loved the ending of Prime Time this week. I think that Savage vs Windham is my most anticipated Wrestlemania 2 match on the card!

Savage/Windham would steal the show for me as well. Hogan/DiBiase has had a great build, but I'd give it third to the earlier mentioned and Andre/Hansen.

Man, WrestleMania 2 is one stacked card! Going to be awesome! Savage and Windham are going to tear the house down. Their feud is so intense right now. Dibiase putting everything he has on the line, the stakes couldn't be bigger. Nice addition of the 6 man tag, for some reason I always loved Santana in 6 man tag matches. I've always been a sucker for Battle Royals and I'm sure the winner will get a nice push. The Hansen/Andre match will be a good one as Hansen is a legit threat. The Hart Foundation/Fabs build has been really fun and now we finally get the Mania blow off. So much good stuff!

What a great card for WM2, so much better than what we got IRL. Dibiase betting his fortune on this match makes this all the more interesting. Savage vs. Windham is an intense fued that will likely steal the show however Andre vs. Hansen will be a hard hitting affair that should bring the best out of Andre even in this time period.

-Prime Time opens this week with footage of Hulk Hogan training with William Refrigerator Perry. We see them benching, squatting, and eating eggs of course. They pose into the camera as we head out to Gorilla and Jesse who are at the booth. They put over the big night of action including an eight-man tag team match! With less than a week till WrestleMania… anything can and will happen as we have got three huge matches tonight… wait a moment… here comes Ted Dibiase and the Bossman! They come out and Dibiase is going to town on Hogan. He is reading him the riot act and says that tonight the Bossman is going to show why he is the best bodyguard in the world and that he will unplug the Fridge!

 

Curt Hennig vs Manny Fernandez w/ Bobby Heenan

-A pretty good opener here with Henig and Fernandez going to town. We see Manny show off some very good heel work and Hennig is the prima babyface right now. We end up seeing Rude and Bundy walk down to the ring but here comes Sting and Billy Jack! They even the odds before Fernandez goes for the finish and a huge powerslam but Hennig ducks over his back and grabs him for a backslide and the 1…..2…..3!! Hennig is the winner! He rolls out as Bundy, Rude, and Fernandez try to regroup! Heenan and company to get together over at the announce table and we hear them berate their opponents.

 

-We hear the Heenan Family go to town on their opponents as Barry Windham joins them. Fernandez says he is going to eliminate Sting from the battle royal! Bundy says he is going to squash Billy Jack! Rude says he is going to give Hennig a Rude Awakening. Then we hear from Windham who runs Randy Savage down something awful. He says that when it is all said and done he is going to have the crown, the title, and the woman of Randy Savage! The Family has a plan… this is going to break loose this weekend!

 

*COMMERCIAL*

 

-Prime Time is back with the British Bulldogs and the Hart Foundation joining Gorilla and Jesse. They put over WrestleMania. The Bulldogs say that Tito Santana and they will take Muraco and Demolition apart. They know Fuji will play a role but they will make him pay a toll because they will put him to task! The Harts put over their tag team match with the Fabulous Ones. They talk about Jimmy Hart and say they know what he is all about and they will do whatever it takes to break his heart and walk out with the gold!

 

Dino Bravo vs The Honky Tonk Man w/ Jimmy Hart

-Another fun contest with Honky and Bravo. Honky has some good psychology but can’t carry the contest too well. Bravo lugs around but he has got some pop. We see Valentine come out and try to serve as a distraction but it ends up costing Honky as Valentine gets up on the apron but Bravo ducks and Honky nails heads with him before Bravo grabs him for the Full Nelson Slam! 1...2…..3!!! Bravo is the winner and it is Valentine who has got egg on his face!

 

-Jimmy Hart jumps over on commentary as he is going by Valentine, Honky, and the Fabs. they put over their WrestleMania matches this weekend. The Fabs run down the Harts and put over their tag title reign and how it will never end! Valentine says it is Bravo who is going to be humiliated this Sunday! Honky says he is going to shake, rattle, and roll his way to $20,000 and he is going to put everyone on dream street!

-We cut to a special video of Stan Hansen who is cutting a scathing promo on Andre the Giant. He runs him down and says he may be big but he sure is dumb! He says he is going to show Andre his own blood and there is no way in the world that Andre can put him down!

 

-We come back to the arena and the crowd explodes when we hear Hulk Hogan’s music but he is not alone!

 

 

-Hogan comes out with the Fridge… no Mr. T sorry. Hogan and Fridge throw it on the line about the match with Ted Dibiase. Hogan says he has brought everything he needs to back him up and there is no way that the big nasty bossman is going to be able to stop him from doing his thing! We then see Dibiase and Bossman come out… We have a ton of WWF officials out here with referees. Even Gorilla leaves the broadcast spot to get in between things. Hogan and Fridge jump into the ring and welcome in Dibiase and Bossman! Jesse is going wild for this on commentary as Dibiase and Bossman get in and we see a quick choreographed spot where Fridge and Hogan duck clotheslines but then come with their own sloppy ones back and Dibiase and Bossman go out of the ring to the floor! Hogan rips his shirt off and rips off the shirt of the Fridge as they pose to the crowd! The crowd is going wild as Dibiase and Bossman head to the back and they are not happy!

-Prime time is back with Gorilla and Jesse putting over what we just saw! They build up our big eight-man main event and say they will go through the WrestleMania card in just a moment. Right now we head to the ring!

 

MAIN EVENT

Bull Ganter, Jim Powers, & The Rockers vs One Man Gang, Nikolai Volkoff, Hercules, & Paul Roma w/ Slick

-A pretty fun little eight-man with everyone getting a chance to come in. The Rockers have got some great speed and show it off. Bull has really got the crowd behind him and Superstar is out there for support! On the other side, we see Nikolai show off some skills while Roma and Hercules are really a good pairing. It is the One Man Gang who shines and we see some chaos but it is the Gang who hits Powers with a huge powerslam and 747 for the 1...2...3! Slick’s guys celebrate for the time being before Bull and the Rockers get revenge and knock them over the top to the floor! We will be back with the final WrestleMania run down!

I have faced every top contender in the WWF and the world and I have walked out Champion! Those were wrestling matches when I defended this title. When I see you this Sunday… it isn’t going to be a wrestling match… ITS GONNA BE A FIGHT! I have said it since it was announced… I am coming for you with everything I have got! Blood, Sweat, Tears, everything I’ve got!
