WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW

September 10, 1995

SPECIAL 90 MINUTE EDITION!

Vince McMahon welcomes everyone back to the Manhattan Center, a familiar venue of time gone by. Raw returns this week LIVE from it's old stomping grounds.

Welcome everyone,  to Mon-day Night RAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Vince runs down today's program, featuring Bret Hart taking on McMahon's normal broadcast partner Jerry Lawler. Vince has a special surprise for everyone this week. Doing commentary to replace the King this week is the WWF World Heavyweight Champion "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel.

After a brief exchange on commentary we hear the familiar music of the King, Jerry Lawler making his way to the ring.

MATCH #1: BRET "HITMAN" HART VS. JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER

Lawler attempts to stall early, jumping out of the ring to argue with the fans. Hart has no part of it and he goes outside to attack the King. Bret introduces Jerry to the guard rail, the ring post, and the ring apron before rolling him back inside.

The King pleads off, but Bret scoops him up and sends him into the corner. Hart goes up for a 10 punch mount and plays to the crowd. Raw will continue in a moment.

------------------------------------------------------
        COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

HART VS. LAWLER CONTINUES...

The King has taken control during the commercial break. Instant replay shows that the King ducked between the ropes and when referee Jack Doan was trying to separate the two, Lawler thumbed the Hitman right in the eyes. Lawler continues to work over Bret, mixing in some jaw jacking with the crowd. Lawler whips Hart chest first into the corner. The King delivers a FIST DROP from the middle rope and covers. 1....2.....Hart kicks out on 2...

The King looks frustrated as he argues with the referee. Lawler attempts his PILEDRIVER, but Bret counters with a backdrop!

With both men down the referee counts. They both make it back to their feet, Lawler misses a wild swing and Bret hits an Atomic Drop, then an inverted atomic, and finally a backbreaker to lay the King out. Bret comes off the middle rope with an elbow that gets a 2 count.

Hart begins to grab the King's legs for the Sharpshooter, but Jerry senses it coming. Lawler begins to kick and scream as he somehow manages to make it to the ropes before Hart can lock the hold on. Lawler rolls outside to the floor. Hart looks pissed. Bret hops outside to go after Lawler. The two men take turns trading punches. Lawler tries to whip Bret into the post, but Hart reverses. Lawler goes into the post instead.

Jerry drops to his knees and starts to crawl up the aisle, away from the ring. Jack Doan is on the count of 8 and Hart knows he doesn't have time to bring Jerry back. Bret rolls in the ring as Doan reaches the count of 10... Lawler stumbles his way to the back. Bret Hart will win on a count out.

WINNER BY COUNT OUT..... THE HITMAN, BRET HART

Bret has his hand raised but he is PISSED. Lawler got away.

Diesel thinks the King is a coward and Bret got ripped off.

Bret storms out of the ring stalking after Lawler backstage as Raw goes to break.

------------------------------------------------------
           COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

To the Dok Hendrix... Dok stands by backstage with a hot Bret Hart. Interim President Gorilla Monsoon is also standing beside them. Bret is fuming hot that the King once again runs away. Hart is sick of it and demands a rematch where Lawler can't run away. Bret wants Lawler inside a STEEL CAGE! Gorilla concurs that sounds like a good idea. Monsoon books Bret vs. Lawler in a CAGE for IN YOUR HOUSE in Saginaw Michigan. Just 2 weeks away.

TO THE RING.....

Already in the ring are the opponents for the next match.

It's the new and "improved" British Bulldog, sporting his new haircut.

MATCH #2: "BRITISH BULLDOG" DAVEY BOY SMITH VS. 1-2-3 KID

Story goes, the Kid asked for this match after the Bulldog turned his back on his fans. The Kid uses his speed early on to frustrate Davey Boy. Kid goes for a spinning heel kick, but Smith holds the ropes and Kid misses. Davey takes over with a one handed delayed vertical suplex as he walks around smirking to get more heat. After Davey drops Kid he does some flexing and goes into a side headlock to piss off the fans. The crowd chants "1-2-3" as the Kid begins to fight his way out. The Kid breaks free and drops Dog with the spinning heel kick he tried earlier on. Kid works over Smith in the corner with his educated feet. Snap suplex on the Dog followed by a legdrop gets the Kid a 2 count. But Bulldog kicks out with authority.

The Kid goes up top. MISSILE DROPKICK FROM THE KID!!!

HE COVERS!!!

1----------------

2---------------

NOOOOOOO

Bulldog barely escapes!

The Kid goes up again. FLYING CROSS BODY!!!!

BULLDOG CATCHES THE KID!!!!

HE TURNS IT INTO THE RUNNING POWERSLAM!!!

1-----------2-------------------3!!!

YOUR WINNER... THE BRITISH BULLDOG

A valiant effort by the KID, but Davey Boy gets the win.

image.jpeg

BULLDOG CALLS FOR THE MICROPHONE...

Breathing hard, Smith rips on the fans, rips on the champions Diesel and Shawn Michaels, and rips on America. Bulldog says that's why he got rid of "Mr. USA", referring to Lex Luger. Bulldog calls Americans soft and he's done playing to them, it's gotten him nowhere. From now on Smith looks out for himself, and himself only.

Bulldog rolls out of the ring and has a few words exchanged with Diesel who is on commentary.

------------------------------------------------------
       COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

MATCH #3: JOHNNY B. BADD VS. RENO RIGGINS

Complete with his BADD BLASTER, Johnny makes his WWF debut and Vince sells it like the second coming. The fans are behind Badd as he does some dancing and places his knee over the railing for ladies (and one guy) to stufff dollars in his kneepad. Vince talks about Johnny's character but also mentions his background in the Golden Gloves. Diesel has crossed paths with Johnny elsewhere and admits underneath the makeup lies a tough opponent. Riggins finds out much the same.

Reno mocks Johnny at the bell, and eventually slaps Badd. Johnny unloads with a hard right hand. THE KISS THAT DON'T MISS! Even Badd can't believe he already dropped his opponent seconds into the match. Johnny sits down on the chest of Reno and hooks his leg for the easy win.,

WINNER IS... JOHNNY B. BADD

OOOHHHH YEAAHHHH!!!!!

Savage is greeted with much fanfare as he looks happy to be back walking down the WWF aisle....

Savage climbs onto the middle rope to play to the fans as Raw takes a time out.

------------------------------------------------------
           COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

Image result for macho man vince

Vince welcomes Macho back to the WWF. Macho says it's great to be back. No more politics, just wrestlers who want to wrestle, yeaahhh. Without naming names, Savage eludes to Hogan and the ownership of WCW holding him down. Macho says it's good to be back where you're given opportunities based on your abilities, and not on whose back you scratch.

That brings Macho to here... Savage calls Diesel into the ring.

The World Champ is caught off guard but looks to be happy to welcome Savage back. The two men shake hands as Savage puts over What Diesel has done in a short period of time. A triple crown champion all within a year. And the current WWF Champion for the last 10 months.

Savage says the last time he was here he was getting an itchy finger to get back in the ring full time, but he was contracted to doing announcing. He went "elsewhere" to prove he still had it. It was always his plan to come back to the WWF. He proved himself "elsewhere" and now he's back where the REAL MEN play.

Savage has signed an active wrestlers contract and he's returning to the WWF, but not behind a microphone. But in a RING...

Man to man, Macho says his credentials speak for themself. Diesel has beat everyone in the WWF...

BUT....

BUUUUUUUUUUTTT.....

You haven't beat the Macho Man.... YEAH......

Diesel looks stunned, Vince's eyebrows raise.

Savage man to man, asks for a title shot against Diesel.

The crowd pops huge. Diesel is taken back, and almost puts it off on the championship committee.

Diesel steps up and says if Gorilla Monsoon will grant the match, Diesel will accept the challenge. Diesel wants the best and he knows Savage is the best.

If we can get the match signed, we will see WWF Champion Diesel vs. Macho Man Savage sooner than later.

------------------------------------------------------
           COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

Diesel has now left the announce position. The King is back in his broadcast spot. Lawler calls the Cage match against Bret Hart at IYH a conspiracy by Canadians. Lawler thinks Monsoon is a closet Canadian, and says that Saginaw, Michigan is close enough to the border it's probably filled with Canadians too. Lawler says he will teach Hart one final lesson at IYH.

MATCH #4: THE UNDERTAKER (w/PAUL BEARER) VS. JACOB BLU

Jacob Blu stands in the ring as we witness the Undertaker's entrance. Once that's out of the way, Jacob tries to get the jump on Taker. He works the Dead Man over against the ropes, but Taker reverses a whip off the ropes and he hits a flying clothesline on Blu. Taker chokes Blu before taking him over to the ropes. Taker walks the ropes and lowers the Boom on Jacob. Jacob Blu rolls out of the ring as referee Earl Hebner holds back the Undertaker.

We see Eli Blu come running down to the ring. Jacob rolls under the ring while Eli replaces him outside. Eli Blu climbs up on the apron and drops the Taker throat first across the top rope. Eli takes over with some generic kicks and punches. A big slam on the Taker, and some more boots. Eli talks trash to the fans and Taker SITS UP!

Eli scoops Taker up for another slam, but the Dead Man slides over his shoulder.

TAKER CHOKESLAM!!!!

TOMBSTONE!!!

1------------2---------------------3

YOUR WINNER.... THE UNDERTAKER....

Shortly after the victory, Jacob Blu reemerges from under the ring. Once Eli recovers, he helps his twin brother stomp down Taker. They whip Undertaker into the ropes, but Taker ducks a double clothesline. Taker rebounds off the ropes and hits both Blu Twins with a flying double clothesline. The Blu boys take a bump and roll out opposite sides of the ring.

Who can stop the Undertaker now that he has the URN back?

         COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

To the BACKSTAGE... Gorilla Monsoon confirms it. In the best interest of the fans, Monsoon has booked WWF Champion Diesel vs. Macho Man Randy Savage for IN YOUR HOUSE!

Now back to the ring!

STANDING IN THE RING WHEN WE COME BACK IS JIM CORNETTE, AND WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS YOKOZUNA AND OWEN HART.

Image result for cornette yoko owen hart

Cornette is already in the middle of a tirade, going between ripping on the Yankee fans up north and the no talent teams of the WWF. Cornette says Yoko and Owen are the most dominant tag team of all time and they challenge anyone to accept their open challenge. Cornette calls out any "outlaw mud show" tag teams in the area.

A large squawking noise starts out a familiar theme music....

Image result for headshrinkers sionne

HOLY POOP.... IT'S THE HEADSHRINKERS!!!!!!!

FORMER WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THEMSELVES....

FATU AND SIONNE ARE BACK IN THE WWF!!!

CORNETTE AND THE CHAMPS ARE LIVID, BUT IT APPEARS WE HAVE OURSELVES A TITLE MATCH!!!

WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OWEN HART & YOKOZUNA (W/JIM CORNETTE) VS. THE HEADSHRINKERS

As the match starts, Fatu has his way with Owen Hart, and Owen gets pissed. Hart argues with referee Mike Chioda. Yoko tags in with Sionne. They trade some shots. Yoko tries a headbutt, but hurts himself. Yoko staggers as Sionne lays in some chops and right hands that send Yoko stumbling back to the ropes. Sionne tries to send Yoko off but his girth is too much. Yoko reverses, but Sionne ducks a chop. Sionne lays in a clothesline, a second clothesline, a third clothesline.... Yoko is staggering but he hasn't fallen.... Sionne for a fourth try, off the ropes... BIG BOOT BY SIONNE!!!! Yoko goes stumbling backwards into the ropes and tumbles through them to the floor.

Cornette and Owen rush over to check on Yoko. Cornette looks like he's about to have an aneurism as he and Owen try to pick Yoko up. Raw rolls on.....

------------------------------------------------------
    COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

WWF TAG CHAMPS YOKO & OWEN VS. HEADSHRINKERS CONTINUES....

It appears they got Yoko up before he was counter out. Sionne is in the ring, but misses a diving headbutt. Yoko tags to Owen who immediately catches Sionne with a spin kick. The champs take over and work over Sionne in their corner. Fatu is lured into the ring, causing Chioda to usher him back. Meanwhile it allows the heels to double team Sionne.

Owen holds Sionne in the corner while Yoko comes charging with a big BUTT SPLASH in the corner, but Sionne pulls Owen into the move... YOKO SMASHES HIS OWN PARTNER!!!

Owen goes down. Yoko is forced back out of the ring. Sionne makes a crawl to his corner.

OWEN TAGS YOKO.

HOT TAG TO FATU

Fatu comes in on fire. He lights up Yoko with a series of right hands.

Owen comes in and is met with a headbutt that sends him to the floor.

Sionne follows Owen outside while Fatu and Yoko fight in the ring.

Fatu catches Yoko with not one, but two Superkicks. Yoko stumbles in place.

Fatu comes off the second rope with a headbutt, and YOKO GOES DOWN!!!!

Fatu covers.

1-------------2----------------------YOKO KICKS OUT!

Fatu goes off the ropes but RUNS INTO A THRUST KICK FROM YOKO.

ZUNA DROPS A BIG LEG.

1--------------2-------SIONNE SLIDES IN TO STOP THE COVER.....

3..... BUT HE'S TOO LATE!!!

WINNERS..... STILL CHAMPIONS.... YOKO & OWEN....

What a great back and forth match!

Cornette calls his men out of the ring and hands them the belts as they escape with the belts yet again.

Sionne checks on Fatu as we go to Vince and the King.

We'll be back next week, where we will see THE RETURN OF "DOUBLE J" JEFF JARRETT. We haven't seen him in almost two months since his IC Title loss to Shawn Michaels. What will Double J have to say?

Speaking of Shawn Michaels, he will be here next week to defend the IC Title against KING MABEL.

Macho Man Randy Savage will also be back.

Along with Johnny B. Badd.

Along with THE BAD GUY, RAZOR RAMON in action.

Plus, after escaping by the skin of their teeth, will Jim Cornette's Tag Team Champions continue their open challenge?

All of that, and the latest on IN YOUR HOUSE.

Next week on.....

The rumors are true... the rumors are true... Randy Savage shows back up in the WWF and he stakes his claim for the World Title right off the bat. I think he has a great style for a guy like Diesel and that title could seriously be up for grabs. Bret and Lawler have a lot of history at this point and a cage is a good way to finish it and move on to other pieces. Shawn and Jarrett of course have some things going on with one another... one has to hope that HBK doesn't hang out with any marines this time around.  I like the push of the Headshrinkers as they were a good team around this time... perhaps not as great as Meng and Barb but definitely a fun pairing. I see a lot of great pieces. I see some good writing. I see some great stories beginning... this is a great way to kick off the WWF at this point.

WWF fires back with a bang! Great way to kick off the show with Hart and Lawler, which perfectly sets up their cage match. Nice debut for Johnny B Badd. I always thought that gimmick would of worked well in this WWF era. Bulldog isn't playing around. Savage is back home! He gets straight to the point and challenges for the title. Diesel accepts and now the match is official. I know the fans are loving this. Classic Undertaker here. Looking forward to his next big program. Awesome tag title match. Head Shrinkers have a great showing but the champs escape. The open challenges will make for great TV. LOL, Dok Hendrix, Todd Pettengill and In Your House, yep this is 90s WWF.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments. I'm going to try and post ahead of time to make sure I don't fall behind with everything else I have going on. IYH should be fun, I've got a couple more fun matches to announce next week. Should flow nicely since the PPV is only 2 hours.

Agree on the Badd comment Spaldoni. I know they couldn't get the rights from WCW to do the Badd gimmick, but the Wildman gimmick was awful, followed up by the Marvelous character. Yuck.... 1995 Badd really came into his own as an in ring performer... I hope he meshes well with the WWF roster.

I'll do my best to keep Shawn out of the bars come October... Don't need no repeats of real life. ;)

SPECIAL 90 MINUTE EDITION!

Vince McMahon welcomes everyone to the Manhattan Center. Raw returns once again this week LIVE from it's old stomping grounds.

Welcome everyone,  to Mon-day Night RAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Vince is back this week with a giddy Jerry "The King" Lawler.

It appears the King has done an about face in his thoughts on the announced Steel Cage Match against Bret Hart at this Sunday's In Your House. Lawler says he's now looking forward to ridding the WWF of the Hitman once and for all. Vince rolls his eyes and throws it to the Fink.

MATCH #1: RAZOR RAMON VS. RENO RIGGINS

A quick, easy, paint by the numbers squash for the Bad Guy here. The Razor's Edge wins it in 3 minutes. Ramon did show a new sense of aggressiveness as he is coming off the tough loss to IC Champion Shawn Michaels and their ladder match from SummerSlam. Ramon now looks to pick up the pieces and move forward. He impressed in this match to show everyone he's still on top of his game.

Ramon is scheduled to meet the Bulldog at In Your House.

During the match another interesting thing of note. Vince McMahon noticed DOINK THE CLOWN looming around the audience, having fun with the kids. We haven't seen much of Doink in recent months. Vince said it's good to see Doink back in the WWF "full time". Lawler wasn't a fan.

MATCH #2: JOHNNY B. BADD VS. THE BROOKLYN BRAWLER

The Brawler must have watched last week's match between Badd and Rigging, because Brawler takes things a little more cautiously to start. Lombardi goes to the eyes of Badd early and works him over in the corner. Badd fights his way out and a back suplex with a bridge gets him a 2 count. Badd with a slam and a slingshot legdrop from the apron into the ring for another near fall. Brawler rolls outside the ring to try and recover but Badd nails him with a somersault plancha to the floor. Johnny rolls Brawler back in the ring where he Johnny comes flying off the top rope with a sunset flip for the win.

WINNER IS JOHNN B.

Johnny celebrates with the fans after the match, allowing them to stick dollar bills in his knee pad.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage joins Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler on commentary. A little bit of a blast from the past. Savage will join the announce team for the next match as he talks about his upcoming WWF Title shot with Diesel that WWF President Gorilla Monsoon granted him last week. Savage is excited for the opportunity. He says an opportunity is all he ever asked for. Lawler asks Macho what happens if Savage LOSES to Diesel at In Your House. Savage quips that he never thinks that far ahead. Macho doesn't plan to lose.

To the ring...

Vince informs us that loudmouth Jim Cornette has been riling the crowd up all through the commercial break. Cornette is at ringside with the WWF Tag Team Champions Yokozuna and Owen Hart as they again present their OPEN CHALLENGE to ANY TEAM that will accept.

Image result for cornette owen yokozuna

We hear familiar music play as Savio Vega begins to make his way to the ring.

Image result for savio vega

Cornette and company laugh as Savio is alone. Vega stops in the middle of the aisle as Cornette asks him if he can count past 1. Jim gives Savio credit for his courage, but tells Vega not to let bravery turn into stupidity.

Vega smiles back at Cornette and points to the back...

And again we hear familiar music, but it's music we haven't heard in quite some time...

IT'S>>>>>>>>>>>

MARTY JANNETTY!

Marty Jannetty has returned to the WWF!!!!!

Cornette is hot.

Vince mentions that they've been coming out of the woodwork to return to the WWF with the Tag Titles being offered up in these open challenges.

MATCH #3: WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS YOKOZUNA & OWEN HART (W/JIM CORNETTE) VS. MARTY JANNETTY & SAVIO VEGA

Fast paced action begins this one as Marty wastes no time in his return. Jannetty starts things off with Owen and they're all over the ring with quick moves and counters. Marty sends Owen out of the ring but Owen skins the cat back inside. Hart thinks he has Marty off guard, but MJ is ready turns around in time to backdrop Owen out of the ring on the other side. Cornette fans Owen with his tennis racket on the floor.

Raw rolls on!!!

------------------------------------------------------
       COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

WWF TAG TITLE ACTION CONTINUES....

Jannetty and Savio continue their control as Owen tags in the big man. Yoko stumbles and staggers from the quick double team offense of this new makeshift team. Vega DROPS Yoko with a big spinning heel kick. Tag to Jannetty. Marty comes off the top FLYING FISTDROP!

1........................................2........................

Yoko kicks out with authority and it sends Marty through the ropes to the floor.

As Jannetty climbs back inside he's met with a thrust kick from Yoko and the tag champs take control of MJ.

Owen does some hammering while Yoko uses the dreaded trapezius nerve hold to catch his breath. Marty fights his way to his feet but he's sent into the corner. Yoko charges into the corner with the flying Ass Splash, but Jannetty drops out of the way and Yoko misses. Yoko shakes it off and tags in Owen. Hart tries to stop Jannetty who dives over and HOT TAGS TO VEGA!!!

Savio comes back in a House-o-Fire... 10 punches in the corner on Owen and a thrust kick to Yoko sends Zuna back into the corner. Jannetty joins as the duo men whip Owen into Yokozuna.

Savio drops Owen with a superkick. Jannetty climbs to the top rope.

Savio assists Jannetty with a ROCKET LAUNCHER OFF THE TOP!!!!

Jannetty covers Owen!!!

But referee Earl Hebner informs Marty he's not the legal man.

So Savio covers Owen.

But Hebner is busy getting Jannetty out of the ring.

And Yoko comes over LEGDROP ACROSS THE BACK OF SAVIO'S HEAD!!!!!

Owen rolls over on top of Vega.

1...........

2............

Here comes Marty.....

3...............

Jannetty is just a moment too late to stop the count.

WINNERS ARE YOKO & OWEN.....

Cornette celebrates with his men.

           COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

Before the next match, we see DOINK still out in the audience having some fun.

MATCH #4: THE HEADSHRINKERS VS. JACOB & ELI BLU

Both of these teams came up on the short end of the stick last week but make no mistake they're still both very dangerous units. This match is what good old JR would call a Slobber knocker. No finesse here, just 4 dangerous men beating the crap out of each other. Very little selling, a whole lot of stiffing. To both teams credit, they do their best to try and follow the rules.... For a little while...

Things break down when the Blu Twins keep trying to change places and get heat on Fatu. Sionne has enough and it leads to a 4 way brawl. Referee Mike Chioda takes a kick to the gut from Sionne, and then Eli Blu tosses Chioda across the ring leading to an immediate DOUBLE DQ.

THE RESULT IS...... A DOUBLE DQ

The fight goes to the floor, with Fatu jumping off the apron onto both Blu Twins. All four men continue to trade punches all the way backstage as Raw goes into commercial.

TO THE BACKSTAGE.. Back from break, the Shrinkers and the Blu Twins continue to brawl backstage and right past WWF President Gorilla Monsoon. The officials are having the damndest time getting the 4 monsters separated. Gorilla joins in on trying to break up the fight. We go back to the ring.

VINCE MCMAHON IS IN THE RING WITH THE RETURN OF "DOUBLE J" JEFF JARRETT

Image result for double j jeff jarrett

Jarrett says it's the fans pleasure to have him back in the Double-J F. Jarrett says he was robbed at In Your House in July of his IC Title. He says the last guy he had to watch his back screwed up and cost him the title. Jeff bashes his former Roadie but says he's found a new man to watch his back, and we'll all soon find out who that man is.

Vince presses Jarrett about the return match against Michaels this Sunday at IYH. Jarrett says the IC Title is about to be returned back to where it rightly belongs, around his waist.

Lawler stands up at ringside and gets on the house mic. The King invites Jarrett to sit ringside for the next match, which just happens to feature IC Champion Shawn Michaels taking on the mighty King Mabel.

Jarrett gladly accepts as Vince looks disturbed about the entire scenario.

That match is next!

         COMMERCIAL BREAK
------------------------------------------------------

To the Gorilla... Before the next match Gorilla Monsoon is shown backstage. He doesn't look too happy with the inability of the Shrinkers and Blu boys to compete in a structured match. And because of that Gorilla wants this to be settled sooner rather than later.

It's IC TITLE MATCH TIME!!!

MATCH #5: WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SHAWN MICHAELS VS. KING MABEL (W/SIR MO)

Michaels looks cautious to begin things. Using the stick and move tactic to keep away from the King. Mabel becomes frustrated early on as he can't seem to catch the IC Champ. When Sir Mo isn't paying attention Shawn even stomps on his hands on the apron to have a little added fun. At one point Jeff Jarrett stands up on commentary and it distracts the champion who begins to exchange words with Double J. Mabel uses this to his advantage and whacks Shawn with a clothesline from behind.

The King takes over on the mat just pummeling and putting his weight on the champ. Mabel with a hard Irish whip sends Shawn upside down in the corner. The King gloats as we head to a break.

We're back and Mabel continues to dominate the champion. Mabel whips Shawn off the ropes, the King tries for a backdrop. Michaels counters with a sunset flip but Mabel isn't going anywhere.

Mabel attempts to drop down and sit on Michaels, but Shawn manages to escape having his chest crushed.

Mabel misses and lands hard on his posterior.

Shawn slowly revives and begins to fight back. Mabel reverses a whip into the corner. King tries an Avalanche in the corner but Shawn moves. Mabel misses the splash and staggers back.

SHAWN OFF THE TOP WITH A MOONSAULT BODY BLOCK!!!

BUT MABEL CATCHES HIM!!!

SHAWN WIGGLES HIS WAY FREE AND SLIDES BEHIND THE KING.

MICHAELS SHOVES MABEL CHEST FIRST INTO THE CORNER.

BUT JEFF JARRETT JUMPS UP FROM COMMENTARY

VINCE: what are you doing?????????

JARRETT TELLS MCMAHON TO SHUT UP AND GRABS THE IC TITLE AND BEGINS TO LEAVE WITH IT.

SHAWN GETS WIND OF IT AND REACHES THROUGH THE ROPES TO STOP DOUBLE J.

SHAWN GRABS JARRETT BY THE HAIR

JARRETT BLASTS SHAWN WITH THE IC TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHAWN GOES DOWN, BUT REFEREE JACK DOAN SEES EVERYTHING AND DISQUALIFIES MABEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WINNER ON A DQ.... SHAWN MICHAELS

Jarrett climbs in the ring and stands over Michaels, holding the IC belt high in the air..... but there's just one problem....

Jeff just cost Mabel the IC title belt. Jarrett now feels a presence behind him. A 7' tall 500 plus pound presence.

Jarrett slowly turns around to see an unhappy Mabel standing behind him. The fans begin to cheer the King.

Jarrett slowly starts to back off, when Mabel's angry face slowly becomes a large smile as the King's gold teeth begin to shine through...

Jarrett smiles back.

The two men embrace....

WHAT IN THE???????

Is.... Is ... IS MABEL THE MAN JARRETT WAS TALKING ABOUT? THE NEW MAN TO WATCH HIS BACK????

Even Sir Mo looks a little confused...

Jarrett lays Shawn out in the middle of the ring as instructs Mabel to drop a big leg on the IC CHamp... BOOOOOM

Sir Mo comes over to question Mabel. The King turns and looks at Jarrett. Jeff motions for Mabel to handle Mo...

Sir Mo wants to know what's going on. He doesn't appear to be in the loop.

MABEL ATTACKS HIS LONG TIME PARTNER AND FRIEND.

Mabel drops Sir Mo.....

BIG SPLASH ON SIR MO!!!!!!

Mabel's grump face again turns to a smile....

JARRETT JUMPS UP INTO MABEL'S ARMS AND LAUGHS AS THE TWO CELEBRATE.

Vince is disgusted. Lawler loves it. Shawn Michaels could be in big time trouble at IYH.

We'll be back next week, with all of the fallout from this Sunday's IN YOUR HOUSE. Pay-Per-View.

I notice her that you really practice what you preach.  Recently you were talking in one of the reviews about the finish is the key and wow you didn't dispappoint here. First, I thought Michaels would win the final but saw a chance for Mable with Mo on the outside.  Next if there was to be interferene after the Chin Muis, I thought that it was going to be Mo but from the commentry seat comes Double J!

Now I am so excited for Michales and JJ and then wham... another shocker with the Mable and Mo angle.

You really nail 90s Raw. Nice squash for Razor. Looking forward to him going against Bulldog and his new attitude. Oh man, I wonder which Doink we'll be getting??? Badd is making an impact, cant wait to see who his first program will be against. Savage looks ready for his big title match as does Diesel. I'm loving these tag title open challenges. It's bringing all sorts guys out of the woodworks. I have a feeling this wont end well for the champs. Fun brawl between Headshrinkers and Blu Brothers. A street fight is a good way to solve this issue. WOW! Didn't see that turn coming. This should benefit both JJ and Mabel. Michaels and his IC title could be in jeopardy. Really intrigued by the Hart/Lawler cage match.

Very well put together show here to just continue to build towards in Your House. Some very big matches on the books so far and the stories are coming together. I think the highlight for me is seeing a guy like Razor get a nice rub and the focus on the tag titles. 95 was a rough year for tag team wrestling but here you're building some real value in the division. Then on top of it all you've got Diesel and Savage which should sell things out on its own. So much going on and its all good... look forward to more of it.
