NintendoLogic
I don't want it to be comedic, though. I want it played completely straight without even a hint that Hogan's accounts of his past don't quite add up. The only comedy should be unintentional. SomethingSavage
I need to see the scene from Kansas City, where Hulk goes to exit the bathroom stall and finds the end of Harley Race's gun barrel in his gut. And is it stunt casting to request a Trump cameo by way of Alec Baldwin?
TheDuke
Is Hogan going to be in Puerto Rico the night Bruiser Brody died?
SomethingSavage
I don't know. But I need no less than five Rocky Balboa-style montages to put this thing OVER THE TOP, DOOD.

Having watched a ton of shoot interviews over the past few years, it has always amazed me how many different versions of that story there are - especially by guys who weren't even there. That story competes with the "I'm the one who arranged to bring Hulk Hogan to WCW" story for the total number of bullshit artists who try to take credit or insert themselves into the narrative after the fact. peachchaos
So interested in what like, the emotional core of this film is going to be and what they choose to use as character motivation and what historical event they choose to build the climax around. Also is that a typo, did he mean the mid-to-late 1980's? Because otherwise it would totally make sense for Flair to appear in the 90's if they're doing the WCW era. Again, not really sure what the climax of the Hulk Hogan narrative is here, but will they cover the steroid scandal or does it all end at III?
sek69
I would expect to be the story of a young bodybuilder navigating the wacky world of pro wrestling, capping off with him slamming the 900 pound Andre in front of half a million people. Alucard
I wish it was covering 80s and 90s, maybe up to the 2005 HOF induction but it'd probably be too much to cover all in one.
