NintendoLogic Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 WWE knows just what the public needs in these trying times: a Charlotte title match. https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2020-06-22/article/asuka-charlotte-flair-preview Quote
SmoothS Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 With so much trash going on in the industry, I legit forgot all about Asuka/Charlotte. I absolutely love their rivalry. That is a match that I definitely will be seeing. I loved AJ/Riddle, BTW. I gave it ***1/2 Quote

C.S. Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 Major cuts at FS1: WWE Backstage will no longer be a weekly show. Ryan Satin is gone. I feel bad for Satin. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the guy or anything, it has to suck to lose your dream job after only a few months. Quote
SirEdger Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 So, what will they pay Paige for now? Quote

Makes me wonder if she knew about the cuts and has been planning for life after WWE. Kind of a shame, as there is surely something she can do. (Unfortunately, manager wasn't it, commentator wasn't it, talking head wasn't it. Not sure what else there is...) Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Fuck this starting with Ziggler Quote
Tenese Sarwieh Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 So glad they split Dolph/Sonya up, she's doing great and he would've dragged her down. Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 I didn't reaaaaally need Dolph vs Drew, but they are paying attention to recent history, so I give them props for that. Unfortunately it's a another feud for Drew where the outcome is not in question so that hurts him. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Fuck that noise, here comes Charlotte! Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Look I just *love* how it takes Charlotte getting an arm injury for me to think "hey now she *might* lose to Asuka". Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 I don't know if there was a match I've gone from "hey this should be pretty good to "oh my god I do not care anymore" faster than the Street Profits vs Viking Raiders. They could have had a decent series of matches, but we got endless lame comedy bullshit instead. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Well on the other hand they managed to save those INSANE spots for a title match, which is fine by me. I mean, Montez's agility is dope, but it feels special to preserve it to an actual big match like this one. Same goes for the powerbomb counter they just did. Quote

KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Garza and Charlie's interactions are always amusing. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 Liv Morgan I chose to be a fan Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 Peyton with a perfect (no pun intended) Fisherman's suplex. That was a thing of beauty. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 IIconics are actually good now. Ever since coming back they've been really good in those tag matches. Asuka vs Sasha let's gooooooooooo Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 I don't know if "Bayley Dos Straps" is supposed to be a subtle reminder that Bayley is actually a POC, but in my head canon it is. Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 It's funny, but since Rey looks like he's permanently 12 years old, his son looks older than him now. Quote
sek69 Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 Oh hey, Bruce remembered Alistar still works there. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted June 23, 2020 Author Report Posted June 23, 2020 I gotta say, Bruce Prichard is handling Raw really well. Funny that Quote
