LowBlowPodcast
WCPW Jailbreak! April 22 - Joliet, Illinois - Civic Center Windy City opens this week with Mike McGuuirk in the ring as she announces the card for tonight. She also says that Joe Pedicino will have a big announcement later on in the evening. She then announcers our first match of the evening… The New Breed vs Jim Garvin & Buddy Landel w/ Precious & Sherri Fun opener with both teams showing off some really good skills The New Breed are definitely the better unit but Landel and Garvin have got the experience We see both teams get going but the momentum changes when the Rock N Roll RPMs walk out They are getting a bird’s eye view and the New Breed have turned their attention The distraction is enough for Landel and Garvin to gain control The New Breed are set up for a hot tag but as soon as Royal gets close to Champion… the RPMs pull Champion to the ground! Garvin then comes in and nails Royal from behind… picks him up and HOT SHOT SUPLEX! Landel gets the tag… hits the ropes and CORKSCREW ELBOW for the 3-count! {Champion is getting beaten down outside the ring. The RPMs leave him laying while Royal is hurting inside the ring. The officials come out to clear things up as we move the action to the second ring and here comes another tag team encounter. Casey and Mantell come out to a nice ovation and here comes the Nasty Boys!} Scott Casey & Johnny Mantell vs The Nasty Boys Pretty simple showcase for the Nasty Boys. We hear that they are the next team in line for a tag team title match Casey and Mantell have some decent work and momentum but the Nasties are just a step ahead The finish is pretty simple with the Nasties hitting a spike piledriver on Mantell They double clothesline Casey out of the ring and get the pin The Nasties look like they’ve got all the momentum they need to go after the titles one more time! {Joe Pedicino then steps into the ring and he doesn’t look happy… wait a moment… here comes Austin Idol with the title… and now… Sherri? We see them step in the ring and Sherri says that she just made the deal of a lifetime in the back and now she’s got her man. Idol says that tonight… he plans to take the night off. The crowd is booing up a storm. Pedicino announces that our scheduled match for the WCPW Heavyweight Championship has been postponed. They will be offering refunds for the event. Pedicino then announces that Jimmy Snuka was attacked before the event and will not be able to compete. Idol is strutting around and then we hear Harley Race’s music. The fans are stirring… Race comes out and says that he’d love to take Idol on right now but he’s got other things to do tonight. Idol says that he’d have no chance… Harley then asks if he’d be up for a challenge tonight… like he had last week. Idol says he has no problem facing anyone in the back because he knows he can beat them all. Harley then agrees…so he found someone not on the roster… but rather brand new to Windy City. Idol and Pedicino agree that he’ll accept the challenge but not put the title on the line. Idol wants to know who he’s facing… Race walks up the aisle and then… out of the back… {HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN IS HERE! He has got the 2x4 and he points it at Idol who is beside himself right now! The crowd is stirring here as we now have our next contest… the NWA Texas Women’s Championship contest!} NWA TEXAS WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Debbie Combs vs Wendi Richter The women are fired up for this match, a chance to show another audience what they've got to offer. The match starts with Debbie Combs in control but Wendi Richter takes short cuts wherever she can. Both wrestlers get a close pin attempt and get to show off their signature moves. The finish sees Wendi Richter pick Debbie Combs up and give her two powerbombs in quick succession. One, two, three and that's all she wrote, Wendi Richter taunts the crowd as the Texas title is fastened around her waist. {A fun matchup there as the women may be showing up more often from now on. We then head to the ring for our next contest featuring the big time newcomer… Scott Hall!} Scott Hall vs The Executioner Good showcase for Hall The “Executioner” can’t quite make anything happen He does get a little heat on Hall but nothing to make anyone worry Hall comes right back and hits the overhead fallaway slam for the 3-count! {Mike McGuirk then gets us set for our next contest… Tag Team Titles on the line… here we go! WCPW Tag Team Championship The Rockers vs The Rock N Roll RPMs A really fun 16-minute match up. Both teams get in some offense and dish out some fun pain to the others along with some slick tag team maneuvers The RPMs are able to double up and get some good heat on Michaels Lane and Davis really let him have it which gets Jannety fired up Michaels is able to make the big tag and here comes Marty with some rocket right hands and DEEEEEEEP armsdrags sending the RPMs across the ring Michaels looks to be in a tough spot outside the ring Jannetty keeps up the pace but the numbers game gets the best of him The RPMs corner him and really start to hammer away Michaels somehow gets back up and gets into the fold once again Everyone is throwing hands right now and then we see Michaels get tossed out of the ring to the floor Wait a second… here comes the Nasty Boys… they are watching on… The RPMs set up Jannetty and are going to hit a suplex crossbody combo and BAM! Jannetty is down and he’s hurt…1…..2….OH NO! The New Breed runs down and breaks up the pin! We have got chaos here as the Nasty Boys then jump on Michaels and start working him over! The crowd is going nuts here as all eight men are involved {Officials run down to break it up as the New Breed and Rockers stay in the ring. Michaels is not looking good. The Nastys are next in line for the titles… The RPMs and New Breeds want blood… and the Rockers have the biggest target on their back! We then get the ring cleared out while Craig DeGeorge is joined by the newest team in Windy City… The Killer Bees - Jim Brunzell and Brian Blair. They put over the big time tag division here in WCPW and say that they can’t wait to get involved! They will be in action next week! DeGeorge then sends it to McGuirk who lines up our next match…} Chris Adams vs the Cuban Assassin Another good showcase contest Cuban Assassin can get some heat pretty damn easy Adams looks like a million dollars here tonight The big superkick spells the end and then the pinfall {Adams celebrates with the fans and we can hear him say that Jimmy Garvin is next! He wants Jimmy Garvin! We then see the entrance of Austin Idol with Sherri who holds the belt. Then the crowd pops when we see Hacksaw Duggan come out 2x4 in hand! No title on the line but Hacksaw looks ready for a fight!} Hacksaw Duggan vs Austin Idol © w/ Sherri A really fun main event We see these guys jump in and out of both rings They battle outside the ring Duggan looks like he is ready to take over WCPW right here tonight. Idol is able to get the upperhand with help from Sherri He works over Duggan but Hacksaw isn’t going down easy! In an interesting turn of events… Skandar Akbar is out here as he and Sherri are talking We know that Duggan and Akbar have had issues in the past Duggan gets into a rhythm and looks like he is going to finish when he hits a clothesline that sends Idol out of the ring Akbar helps up Idol… and they agree on something… then Akbar leaves the ringside area Duggan comes back out and he hammers Idol all around the ringside area Idol gets back in the ring and then Duggan gets in there and comes with another big clothesline and Idol goes out of the ring to the floor! Idol says he’s done with it and he is walking back up the aisle! Duggan is coming after him Idol gets to the top of the ramp… but Harley Race is right there waiting for him with a huge right hand! Duggan and Race are punching and kicking Idol back into the ring as this has become a no contest… {What Duggan and Race don’t see is Akbar coming down the aisle and he has got Great Kabuki and Killer Khan! These monsters attack Race and Duggan! The crowd is shocked as Idol gets up and he is all smiles. Khan and Kabuki continue this beatdown…The officials come out and Race and Duggan don’t appear to be in a good way…} {After a 10-minute intermission… we return as Joe Pedicino has a big announcement…} Pedicino: Ladies and gentlemen, we apologize for that attack… I spoke with Duggan and Race… they have agreed to take on Khan and Kabuki in two weeks as Windy City Pro Wrestling presents Anarchy in Aurora on May 6th! The other big news… is that on Saturday, May 21st… Windy City Pro Wrestling will present its premiere event… TRIUMPH! The winner of this battle royal coming up will receive a Windy City Championship Match at that event. The other special thing about that event is that it will be held… in the CHICAGO ARENA! Fans… let’s get ready for the Windy City Jailbreak Rumble! {Mike McGuirk sets up our huge main event… the men start to come down to the ring… the winner gets a title shot in 4 weeks. We find out that everyone starts in ring one. They are then thrown over to ring two. Then thrown out to the floor and they will be eliminated. One man left in ring one… one man left in ring two… they fight to decide who will be the number one contender… here we go! WINDY CITY TWO RING RUMBLE Bad News Allen Buddy Landel Brian Knobbs Jerry Sags Tama Tonga Kamala Jimmy Garvin Grappler I Grappler II Chris Adams Ranger Ross Rocky Johnson Scott Casey Italian Stallion Johnny Mantel Mike Rotundo Scott Hall Harley Race Dan Spivey BATTLE ROYAL The entrances are pretty awesome with the finishing touches of Harley Race finding a way to get out there Then the crowd popped huge when Danny Spivey came out and he went right for Bad News This is a nice battle royal if you like forearms and such Some good double teaming with the Nasty Boys, Savages, and Grapplers all working together The first one into the second ring is Mike Rotundo via the Grapplers They turn around though and here comes Scott Hall with a big double clothesline and they both go over the top into ring 2! Stallion, Mantell, Casey, Sags, & Knobbs all get tossed into the 2nd ring as they action continues to build up The crowd comes to their feet with Race getting his hands on Landel and then Adams gets his hands on Garvin! The fight between Spivey and Bad News has spilled out of the ring to the floor The officials are saying they’ve both been eliminated from the contest as they fight all the way to the back Kamala looks dominant as he sends Scott Hall over and then Rocky Johnson and Ranger Ross! Things wind down in ring one with Kamala being dispatched on Harley Race and both men go into the second ring. Landel and Garvin then team up on Adams but the Gentlemen finds a way to fight back. Adams then runs and hits a crossbody on both men but Garvin holds on somehow and now Landel and Adams go into the second ring! Jimmy Garvin wins ring number 1 In ring number two… Kamala has gone crazy he’s eliminated almost everyone with only a couple people still standing Grappler II, Scott Hall, Rotundo, Tonga, Tama, Kamala, Race, & Landel are all still standing Rotundo with a measure of revenge eliminating Grappler II but soon Tonga and Tama are right there to throw him out It comes down to Scott Hall and Race against Tonga, Tama, Kamala, & Landel Race and Kamala continue their issue Hall finds a way to toss Tonga and then he ducks a clothesline from Landel and clotheslines Tama out of the ring! Landel goes on the attack on Race while Kamala gets his revenge and nails Hall with some big shots and then a powerslam over the top rope to the floor! Race somehow gets Landel over his shoulder and now Landel is out and it is down to Race and Kamala Kamala hammers away at Harley who somehow finds a way… the crowd is chanting and cheering for him… Harley ducks a clothesline and then hits a high knee of his own and Kamala is reeling! Race goes for the elimination but Kamala with a big foot! Kamala picks up Race and then looks to powerslam him over the ropes but Race holds on to the top rope and pulls Kamala over! Harley Race wins ring number 2! FINAL BATTLE Harley Race vs Jim Garvin Here we go as Garvin has been able to rest… he is now the hunter on Harley and he is working him over Race can’t seem to get going… first it was Kabuki and Khan… then Kamala… and now Garvin The crowd is chanting and cheering for him Pinfall, Submission, or over the top elimination spells the end Garvin looks like he is going to finish him off with a hot shot suplex but Race floats over the ropes and breaks free Garvin with some big shots Garvin hits the opposite ropes and looks to knock Race off but Harley ducks down and pulls the rope…Garvin flies over the top to the floor! {Harley Race has won it! The crowd erupts! He will face Idol in Chicago for the Windy City title! Race can barely stand… what a night… we’ll see you in two weeks in Aurora!}
Autistic Dragon
Jimmy Jam & Budro capitalize on a RPM distraction to get one over on the New Breed. The Nasty Boys ruin the Gunslingers reunion & look strong heading into their title match. A double powerbomb sees Richter capture NWA gold. At least Combs still has her Fighting Spirit title, Another solid showcase for Hall. The tag title match goes off the rails as the Nasties & the New Breed get involved. Do i see a four-way on the horizon. The Killer Bees add to an already loaded division. Adams give the Cuban the boot. Hacksaw arrives & gets to go one-on-one with the champ. Idol goes to take the easy way out but Race isn't having it. Things are going great until Akbar reveals his newest monsters, Killer Khan & Kabuki! I guess we know who took out Snuka. Pedicino wastes no time announcing a huge tag match in Aurora before revealing WCPW will be on its biggest stage yet at Triumph. "This is a nice battle royal if you like forearms and such" This line cracked me up. Kamala goes on a rampage before finally being stopped by Race. Who then withstands an onslaught from Garvin to earn himself one more shot at Idol.
spaldoni
Budro and Jimmy Jam take advantage of the RPMs distraction to get the big win over the New Breed. Great to see Mantel and Casey teaming up again but the Nasties spoil their reunion. Hacksaw is here! HOOOOOO! The woman get a chance to shine in another light and they do. Big time moment as Richter takes the title from Combs. Looking forward to WCPW's working relationship with the WWW. Scott Hall gets in another solid showcase. Rockers and RPMs give the fans a classic. However, it's payback time for the New Breed. Nasties get involved and we've got an 8 man brawl! Killer Bees are on the scene, adding to a stacked tag team division. Cuban Assassin brings some heat but Adams puts him down with the superkick. Duggan comes in with a bang and takes it to Idol. Harley gets involved and they give Idol a fun pounding until Khan and Kabuki arrive. Race and Duggan going at it with Khan and Kabuki is going to pack a good house. Triumph is coming to the Chicago Arena! Exciting and entertaining 2 ring battle royal. Doesn't get any better than bodies flying all over the place. It's down to Jimmy Jam and Harley. Feel good moment as Harley wins it and has earned another shot at Idol. Idol vs. Race definatley sets the tone for Triumph.

kevinmcfl
Trying to catch up here.... Let's go back to March 25th... Really enjoyed this card. Even though some of your big names are a little past their prime, they would sell the tickets and I see why you have everyone where they are on the card. Rocky going down to Landel with the help of Sherri just feels so perfect. Same as Idol getting help from Garvin to beat Gentlemen Adams. Like that we are seeing these factions develop. Big title win for the Rockers. This all has a nice underground Chicago feel that is going to grow into something bigger. Great show. Keep those posters coming. April 8th: HUGE CARD- Each match had a great backstory going on and was so interesting to read. Sherri, Idol and Landel take the belts from the Rockers. I think you are spot on here making these big names the big heel faction. Adams-Garvin, Race vs Abbie, Spivey vs Bad News.... WOW.... Time for Windy City to get some national attention. kevinmcfl
Jailbreak was a really entertaining show with so many cool twist and turns. It reminded me of show from now with stars of the 80's! It started right away with the RPM's attacking the New Breed and went all the way through the Duggan shocker and his "match" against Idol. Really, really entertaining night in Joliet. I knew this was going to be wild as soon as Pedicino offered a refund.... I knew something was going to have to happen to change that. Nobody gives money back. Great stuff. The 3-count and the Bees are buzzing… they take on the Savages at Triumph… what a match that could end up being! {We then get a special run down of the Triumph card with the following matches being announced again… Race vs Idol for the WCPW Title… Dan Spivey vs Bad News in a Chicago Street Fight… the Rockers vs the Nasty Boys for the WCPW Tag Titles… Jimmy Garvin vs Chris Adams… and the New Breed vs the Rock N Roll RPMs in a Tornado Tag Team Match! This one is a good 8-minutes with both men showing their stuff. Dundee and Landel get some nice heat as they alternate dastardly deeds It gets to a point where Dundee is cheating every chance he gets… and then… RANGER ROSS! Autistic Dragon
Adams wins the opener & throws the challenge down to Garvin. Steiner finally gets a win over one of the Grapplers. Can he & Rotundo finish things at Triumph? Akbar's Savages are on the warpath! The Bees had better be ready. Bad News busts open Hall before getting run off by Spivey leading to WCPW's first Chicago Street Fight at Triumph! The Nasties try to break Jannetty's face on the road to an 8 man win. Kamala has a nice dinner of Italian Stallion. The Bees sure seem up to the fight. Budro & the Superstar are such a fun pair. Soul Man & Ross have possibilities as well. Garvin shows Adams what's waiting for him at Triumph. Harley & the Hacksaw defeat the monsters, fend off Idol's hired army with the help of a few friends, then Race drops the bombshell that Idol has to step in a steel cage at Triumph! spaldoni
Adams starts the show hot as he tunes up for Jimmy Jam. Steiner and Rotunda get the momentum going as they head into Triumph with the Grapplers. Savages path of destruction continues. Hall takes a beating but Spivey saves the day. Spivey vs. Bad News in a Chicago Street Fight...YES! 30 minutes of 8 man tag action has the fans on their feet. Nasties cheat their way to victory. Awesome selling job by Jannetty. Kamala is an absolute beast! Killer Bees get a nice showcase but we'll see what happens when they meet the Savages. Landel brings in the Superstar! Not the best of debuts as Ross arrives and helps the Soul Man get the big win. Jimmy Jam also tunes up and is ready for Adams. You're right, that was a fun finish. Race gets the fall and it's him and Idol in the cage! The storylines have been so well built. Triumph is going to rock the house!

May 21 - Chicago, Illinois - Chicago Arena Scott Steiner & Mike Rotundo vs The Grapplers Our opener has some juice Scott Steiner looks like a monster right now Rotundo and Steiner look great as a team The Grapplers try to get some offense going but Steiner and Rotundo just turn the tide and keep control The finish sees Rotundo and Steiner double clothesline one of the Grapplers out of the ring! The other Grappler runs but Steiner ducks and then hits a TWILT A WHIRL SLAM! Steiner covers for the 3-count! The Killer Bees vs The Samoan Savages w/ Akbar Akbar leads out his Savages for a high profile contest The Killer Bees have got some good momentum so far and really bring the pace to a peak The Samoans are nasty here… they bite and claw any second they get. The Bees are going at a breakneck pace to try and keep the Savages on their toes! Akbar is getting involved outside the ring The Bees try to double team but once they both hit the ropes - Akbar pulls it down and Blair goes tumbling Brunzell then turns to find both Samoans with a crescent kick right to the MUSH! 1….2….3! The Savages win… they look strong… can the Bees recover? Hacksaw Duggan vs Killer Khan Big time HOSS match here Duggan is super over Khan has got his last run here and is made to look dangerous Khan gets some heat on Duggan for the All American to build back up. The crowd gets behind Duggan who throws out some huge right hands! Khan once again goes for Duggans head but Duggan ducks and Khan kicks the turnbuckle… he turns around and Duggan with a huge shoulder block and Khan goes flying. Khan stumbles out and Duggan picks him up for a POWERSLAM and the 3-count!!! Rocky Johnson & Ranger Ross vs Bill Dundee & Buddy Landel A pretty good tag team encounter with Ross and Johnson coming for a fight tonight. Landel and Dundee have got some good tag team maneuvering and not only work over their opponents but also get the crowd very riled up Johnson plays the face in peril so well for Ross to come in like a house of fire Dundee and Landel give them both just enough to make them look good Ranger Ross goes for the big Army Kick but Dundee ducks out of the way Landel comes out of nowhere with an Elbow right to the back of Ross’ head Landel covers for the 3-count and they may have just stolen one here. Jimmy Snuka vs Kamala w/ Akbar This one has got a little steam to it Kamala is a monster and Snuka is fighting him tooth and nail There is not much to the imagination when it comes to the blows that both of these men are throwing Akbar gets involved outside the ring but Snuka is able to get adjusted and back in line Kamala goes for a huge clothesline but Snuka ducks and Kamala goes flying over the top rope! Snuka then goes up top and CROSS BODY ONTO KAMALA! The referee has lost control… he has made the 10-count… but both men barely get in What a finish we see… Snuka leaps for a cross body but Kamala catches him mid-air… POWERSLAM! Kamala pats his belly and hits the ropes with a BIG SPLASH! 1…..2…..3!!! Kamala is the winner and Snuka looks to be in a bad way. {Mike McGuirk then leads us into our next match which is for the Windy City Tag Team Championships! Marty is in his street clothes though… Joe Pedicino steps into the ring…} Joe Pedicino: Fans… I have spoken to the doctors and Marty Jannetty has not been cleared to wrestle tonight. He has a broken orbital bone and will be out of action for another couple of weeks. BAM BAM IS BACK IN CHICAGO AND HE IS FIRED UP AND SO IS THE CROWD! The Nasty Boys are going crazy! WINDY CITY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Shawn & Bam Bam vs The Nasty Boys What a big surprise and the Nasty Boys didn’t like it one bit These guys go 13-minutes… and even though they didn’t love it the Nasty Boys do show some promise Michaels sells like there is no tomorrow and outside the ring Marty gets the fans going wild Bam Bam comes in and he is literally a ball of fire with huge rights and lefts and slams for both of the Nasty Boys We even get a big double clothesline on both men taking them out of the ring to the floor Shawn Michaels then pops up and runs and JUMPS OVER THE ROPES with a cross body on both men They all brawl outside the ring before coming back in The finish sees the referee trying to hold back Michaels who does a go between his legs and pops up with a huge SUPERKICK on Sags and he goes flying out of the ring! Bam Bam grabs Knobbs for the POWERSLAM! The crowd is stirring…. Here we go… Bam Bam goes up top and MOONSAULT! 1….2…..3! Michaels and Bam Bam retain the titles for the Rockers… the crowd explodes… Chris Adams vs Jimmy Garvin w/ Precious One of the most talked about matches going into this event Their last match was a draw… tonight they get 30-minutes This one is a hard hitting and fast paced contest Adams looks like a Million Dollars here and is giving everything he can Garvin is getting some serious heat Precious is trying to get some extra help with little tricks outside the ring Midway through the contest - we see Garvin ram Adam’s shoulder into the ring post. Adams has to work through it the rest of the contest Another big spot is when Garvin hits a back body drop on Adams outside the ring! The referee is counting and Adams somehow makes it inside the ring We get into the final moments as the 30-minute time limit is nearing Adams then hits a super kick but not all the way Adams goes up to the top but Precious pulls the ropes and Adams goes down the hard way! Garvin slowly goes up and grabs Adams to turn him around and then a backwards Superplex/back body drop right on Adam’s shoulder! Adams is writhing in pain! Garvin with the cover for the 3-count! Garvin and Precious share a kiss and he owes this one to her for sure! Dan Spivey vs Bad News - Chicago Street Fight Here we go… both men in jeans… ready to throw some serious bombs This one gets going right away when Spivey runs into the ring They quickly go out of the ring to the floor A big spot when Spivey is run face first into the ring steps Spivey is busted wide open Bad News HAMMERS away and soon Spivey is in a bad way The Big man does fight back though… and a huge boot to Bad News knocks him down The battle continues in and out of the ring and then the fireworks really hit when we see Spivey pull a garbage can over the rail from the fans and he just cracks Bad News right between the eyes! Bad News is now busted open and Spivey is on the prowl Bad News reaches into his pants… he pulls something onto his wrist and then hits a LOW BLOW! Bad News goes out and grabs a chair and he just destroys Spivey’s back. Dangerous Danny is writhing in pain… Bad News looks like he is going to go for the finish and when he goes for the Ghetto blaster, Spivey ducks and then hits a clothesline Both men are slow to get up… they are both bloody and battered… Bad News grabs a chair and now Spivey does… they get up and Bad News swings but Spivey ducks and comes back around with a huge shot to the skull! Spivey picks up Bad News and POWERBOMB ON THE TRASH CAN! 1….2…..3!!! Dangerous Danny Spivey is the winner and it is hard to tell the difference NWA WORLD WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Medusa Miceli vs Lisa Moretti There's a lot of doubt and trepidation from our competitors in this match, neither wants an indecisive finish like last time. Lisa Moretti takes the initiative and dominates the first half but frustration ultimately proves to be her undoing. Medusa Miceli makes sure to put the challenger away definitively, with a chain of three German suplexes. Lisa Moretti gets her shoulder up a split-second after the three, all the same, and complains to the referee. Medusa Miceli is ecstatic, perhaps viewing this a more real victory over her opponent than their previous match. Mike McGuirk: Ladies and gentlemen… it is now time for the Main Event of the Evening. This match is sanctioned by Windy City Pro Wrestling. It is scheduled for one fall and will be held inside a STEEL CAGE! The individual can win the math by pinning his opponent or making him submit. Autistic Dragon
After all the foolishness they had to go through, it must have felt so good for Steiner & Rotundo to run over the Grapplers like that. The New Breed won a wild one that might just put them in the title hunt. Hall gets a solid win over a pretty big name. It takes a bit of intervention by the General but the Savages are still undefeated in WCPW. WCPW will be a good place for Khan to have his swan song. Budro & the Superstar prove a crafty tag team. Snuka v Kamala is as out of control as we expected. I believe this is the first time in Windy City Kamala has had to pin his opponent. Well if you're in a pinch & need an emergency partner, you can't go wrong calling the Beast from the East! Precious pulls out a win for her man. Spivey shows Bad News just how dangerous he can be with a powerbomb on the trash can. Medusa retains by half a second. The NWA is proud to have its Women's title defended in Chicago. Race finally gets his hands on the gold after a months long chase. Nice to see Idol being a good sport. This event certainly lived up to its name....a true Triumph! spaldoni
Triumph! Here we go! Steiner and Rotunda get the best of the Grapplers, once and for all. New Breed really shine tonight as they finish off the RPMs. Kabuki plays his part well and Hall gets more over with the fans. Big things ahead for Scott Hall. Bees give the Savages their toughest challenge but thanks to Akbar, the Savages get the win. Love that finish! Great timing for a hoss match. Khan gets his in but Duggan finishes things off with some raw power. Johnson and Ross fire the fans up but the Dundee and Landel find a way to win. Dundee and Landel are perfect for each other. Snuka and Kamala give the fans a wild and crazy brawl. Damn! That ending sequence by Kamala was devastating. WOW! Bam Bam is in Chicago! Every supercard needs a big surprise and this was huge. The Nasty Boys were nastasized! Adams and Jimmy Jam might of stole the show. Fantastic match! Behind every good (or heel) man is a great woman. Jimmy just might have earned himself a title shot. Bad News and Spivey came to fight! Great blood brawl! Spivey just became a superstar in Chicago with that win. Moretti and Medusa represented the WWW with pride. Medusa barley pulls out the win. Looking forward to a rematch. Now, we get the blow off to one of the best feuds in the game. Idol and Race more than deliver. Race wins the title!!! What a story! Even after all that, respect is shown with a handshake. Awesome show!
kevinmcfl
Nice job using your star power in the main event even though your future might be farther down the card. I think Bam Bam would be a good fit for Chicago. Nice way to introduce him. Garvin and Adams was my favorite match on the card but I am partial to those old Southern feuds. Snuka and Kamala was an interesting contrast in styles. I wonder how Khan felt when he was told he was getting powerslammed! Cool ending. Hall is going to be huge here in CHicago. Triumph was well done! Nice job.

WINDY CITY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Rockers vs The Rock N Roll RPMs A pretty good tag team encounter here for the Rockers There is still some controversy surrounding their title reign and what happened at Triumph The RPMs get some good offense in and keep the match serviceable Jannetty is rocking the facemask due to the cracked orbital bone The Rockers show why their one of the top teams in wrestling… The big double fist drop spells the end 1….2….3! The Rockers retain and look good doing it! Ranger Ross vs Jim Garvin w/ Precious A good showcase for Gorgeous Jimmy here and he looks like he’s prime for something more here in Windy City Ross has got some offense but nothing major The finish sees the hot shot suplex into a brainbuster for the finish The 3-count is all she wrote and then Jimmy gets on the microphone… Jimmy: Now listen up people… just like I did to Chris Adams… just like I did to this puke Ranger Ross… I am knocking them down faster than they can stand them up here in Windy City. Autistic Dragon
Bigelow wows the crowd in his singles debut in WCPW. Williams & Saggs get the Chicago Streetfight title tournament started with a wild one. Orton & Slater seem like a natural pairing. Spivey defeats the monster Khan to advance to round 2. Idol & Budro get dirty to get past the Bees. OMG & Mulligan both arrive with a bang as the beat the daylights out of each other to advance in the tournament. Unfortunately for Mulligan, it seems Gang thought ahead & renewed his relationship with Akbar. The Rockers retain despite Jannetty's injury. Garvin gets a solid win then throws the gauntlet down for anyone who wants some. But he wasn't expecting Jake Roberts to slither into town. AKbar gets his man OMG the Chicago Streetfight title & gets himself payback on Spivey. The general doesn't forget. Race retains over Dundee & fends off the post-match assault. What will Idol do next? kevinmcfl
Bad Moon Rising was really entertaining. I think OMG was a great choice as the Street Fight Champion. Bam Bam vs OMG would be fun down the road. Slater and Orton might be the team to beat in Windy City Wrestling.
