Really love what you've done with WCW.  While you didn't love Battleground, it was still a great way to kick off WrestleWar and speaking of WrestleWar, that was an awesome event.

Really love the Tully-JJ situation.  This might just tell the future direction of this huge promotion.

Great stuff!!

WCW Power Hour - 3/29

Tony Schiavone & Paul E Dangerously

A pretty simple episode tonight… we have some good squash matches from the Samoans, Savio Vega w/ Boricuas, the Godwins, and the Skyscrapers.

We also see that Atomic Bomb video again.

We get the top 10…

WCW Champion - Lex Luger

  1. Great Muta - International Champion
  2. Nikita Koloff - US Champion
  3. Rick Martel - Television Champion
  4. Davey Boy Smith
  5. Flyin Brian
  6. Scott Hall
  7. One Man Gang
  8. Abdullah the Butcher
  9. Michael Rotundo
  10. Tatanka

We get a couple more squash matches… The JYD does some decent work, Kona Crush, and the debut of this masked man… he’s big… he’s called the Widowmaker… he has got a black chap style outfit with a black mask…

Our Main Event sees Power & Glory take on Big Josh and Tatanka… Power and Glory retain in a decent bout.

World Championship Wrestling - 3/29

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us in for a big night of action… we’ll hear from some of the top stars of WCW but also see this unified team of Nikita Koloff and Great Muta in tag team action… plus television champion Rick Martel defends against Big Josh! Let’s take it to the ring.

The Diamond Studd looks the part and destroys the competition… Jesse Ventura says he will have gold… sooner than later!

The Nasty Boys show just how Nasty they can be.

We get a Skyscraper Slaughter… Spivey and Nash seem to be clicking

A good promo from Flyin Brian who says last week was just a fluke… he and Luger have got no problem with one another and he will be there whenever he needs him.

The One Man Gang delivers tonight with his crony Kevin Sullivan out there causing all kinds of havoc.

We get a continuation of the Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon conflict… Tully is challenging JJ to a fight in the middle of the ring… JJ says he’s a one armed man in a fight right now… Tully says so is he… JJ says he is retired and will stay that way… Tully says he is going to keep on him and maybe even bring it to his family if JJ can’t seem to get his mind right. Once again… the talk of family brings a fire out of JJ who grabs Tully by the face before Tony Schiavone has to get involved and back things off…

Wahoo McDaniels brings out his protege Tatanka who is looking to build back up some momentum.

Rick Martel defends the TV title against Big Josh with the help of Power and Glory but the party doesn’t last long as Ron Garvin comes out to help his buddy and by golly you can cut the tension with a knife… Garvin is telling Martel to come back in the ring and this one could explode at any time!

We get a new Atomic Bomb video… this time… the graphic ends with… ADAM BOMB is set to detonate!

We’re back with another promo… this time WCW Champion Lex Luger comes out to let us know that he respects Flyin Brian… he knows he has a buddy in him when he wants and a partner if he needs it…hmm… he says that a match has been signed… WCW is going on tour to Japan in a couple of weeks to finish the month of April… and in the Tokyo Dome… he will defend the WCW title against the Great Muta… what a show that’s going to be… we’ll talk more about that show in the coming weeks!

The Rockers look good in tag team action… the Road Warriors have an inset interview and put over the Rockers as the number one challengers for the WCW tag titles and can’t wait to see them in the ring again!

In the Main Event… we see Nikita Koloff & the Great Muta team up against Johnny Ace and the Z-Man. It is a decent contest… Zenk and Ace have some good chemistry… but it is Nikita and Muta who have the power and keep control. It isn’t as much of a tag team… but they tag one another when they have the opponent down… there’s no continuity… they don’t need it though… Johnny Ace eats a Russian Sickle… that’s all she wrote. Muta and Nikita look to have some words… in Russian or Japanese… but just as Muta is walking out… someone in the crowd gets his attention… wait… that’s Masa Chono?!? What in the world is he doing here?

He may have lost both of them but ya gotta hand it to Big Josh for getting back to back title shots.

Pillman & Luger each claim to be on the same page. I'll withhold judgement.

Speaking of Luger though, defending against Muta in the Tokyodome is tough enough but through Chono in the mix and Luger is some seriously hot water.

Luger and Pillman seem to be on good terms...for now

Things are getting heated between Tully and JJ. I'm excited to see where this is going

I like the pushes the Diamond Stud and Skyscrapers are getting.

I think there's only room in WCW for either Garvin or Martel.

Love the Widowmaker's look.

I think Wahoo can build Tatanka back up.

Nikita and Muta get things done. Looking forward to the anticipated showdown between Luger and Muta, but it seems Muta was caught off guard by Chono.

WCW Power Hour -

Tony Schiavone & Paul E Dangerously lead us through a decent morning of action… a couple of new workers showing off some skills.

The Diamond Studd with some nasty power… Owen Hart with some smooth finesse… Kona Crush shows off why he has some tremendous upside…

WCW Top 10… looks about the same as last week…

Main Event sees the Rockers take on on Harley Race and Bill Irwin… nothing too spectacular… the Rockers with the big win and they look good…  do they deserve another shot at the tag titles?

World Championship Wrestling -

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us in for a big night of action and fans Sting is back here to address the fans… we’ll hear from Flyin Brian and Lex Luger… plus tonight… the Road Warriors are in tag team action against the Samoans. Let’s head to the ring…

The Skyscrapers are dominant… Sherri is saying she’s got a big surprise for everyone… HE’S COMING!

The Nasty Boys with a big win tonight and they call Sherri… Scary Sherri… the Skyscrapers don’t seem to be very happy about it.

Our first promo comes from Paul E and Muta… but they aren’t alone… here comes the one and only Masa Chono. Paul E says that these two are good friends from Japan and people in WCW know that they mean business and will take out their vengeance on Lex Luger and Flyin Brian! We find out that they will both be in the Omni next week…

Tatanka gets a nice win… he and Wahoo celebrate… they want to do something big in the future…

Captain Mike Rotundo is out here… he’s got the singlet on… going back to the well… looks good in the ring.

Lex Luger and Flyin Brian come out and they’re joined by Sting. Sting gets a huge pop from the crowd. They put over the big event at the Omni when Pillman and Luger take on Muta and Nikita once again… Sting will be at the ringside. We also find out that Luger will be taking on Muta in Japan on April the 28th. We find out that next week, Flyin Brian and the Z-Man will take on Muta and Chono. We do get some tension with Pillman and Luger… it's a smidge… but just enough to let you know these two have got something brewing.

WCW The Main Event -

Tony Schiavone & Eric Bischoff don’t have too much excitement here tonight… however, Sting is here… let’s take a look…

Sting is back out here on the Main Event to pull a ratings pop and let the fans know he’s getting better… he shows he can walk without the crutches now but he says he still has to be mindful of his knee… while he’s in the ring with Tony… we see Gary Hart come out and now he’s got Abdullah…the Samoans… they are surrounding the ring…. Sting swipes at them with the crutch but gets saved when Flyin Brian, Big Josh, & Kona Crush run out to hold court…  Sting has his backup once again… but then Sherri walks out and brings out… what the hell… is that Zeu…

The Z-Man defeats Paul Roma in the main event on Main Event… Hercules gives him the business… Roma and Hercules look strong here and Zenk still has some gas in the tank!

The alliance between Luger & Pillman is starting to strain. Though I would expect the alliance between Muta & Koloff to not be much better. Muta has been after the World title since he arrived in WCW and he's getting it at the Tokyo Dome.

In Brian & Jerry's defense Sherri could be pretty damn scary. Putting her next to Zea.... won't help matters.

Oh man, Luger and Pillman are on the brink. I wonder if Sting can play peacemaker.

I think we're heading for a Skyscrapers/Nasty Boys showdown.

Ok, looks like Muta and Chono are working together.

I'm sure Rotunda will find his way

With Abby on the loose, Sting better be on high alert

Nice win for Z-Man. Perhaps a TV title shot in the future.

Weekend of 4/14

WCW Power Hour -

Tony Schiavone & Paul E Dangerously

We see footage from last week’s Power Hour and the final moments… Sherri is shown walking to the ring as she leads the Skyscrapers… but behind them… the Human Wrecking Machine… Zeus. Sherri says she is like a shark… she smelt the blood in the water with Sting last week and now she has just the right thing to finish him off… the Human Wrecking Machine… Zeus! He is an unstoppable force… an immovable object… and soon… the man who will put an end to Sting once and for all!

World Championship Wrestling -

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us in… and there is a huge announcement… there have been rumors but through investigation - it has been found that there is a $40,000 bounty out on STING! Someone has put the bounty out on Sting and Sting is well aware of the situation. He’ll be here tonight… he’ll be in the Omni tomorrow night for the big show… fans what a night we’ve got ahead of us… let’s go to the ring!

The Skyscrapers come out with Zeus by their side along with Sherri… they kill some guys and then put over taking on the Nasty Boys tomorrow night in the Omni!

We get a quick promo from Tully Blanchard who says he is out here to let JJ Dillon know that he has legal proceedings… he is going to sue the hell out of him unless he meets his demands.

Abdullah the Butcher w/ Gary Hart stabs some poor dude in the eye and puts him down… Gary Hart says he’s coming for the bounty on Sting as well.

Crush… no mas Kona… come out and he’s got the fans behind him.

We get a promo from Paul E, and he’s got Chono and Muta with him… they put over the big tag match tonight and then tomorrow in the Omni with Muta and Nikita taking on Luger and Pillman.

Big Josh & The JYD with a good tag team win… they’re still here.

Owen Hart with a solid showing. He and Bulldog have some promo time and say they aren’t here for the money, but they’re going to back up Sting if he needs it.

Promo from Ron Garvin… we see him taping his fists for the fight tomorrow night… it’s going to be lights out… don’t make it to 10-count you're done… and Rick Martel… he’s going to ruin those model-like good looks…

Savio Vega, with some help from his Boricuas wins a nice singles match… he’s still here.

The Road Warriors cut a promo on taking on Power & Glory tomorrow night for the WCW tag titles. We hear that they are going to take them down but they have unfinished business with the Rockers.

Shawn and Marty with a good victory tonight… they assure that the Road Warriors are next on their path

Nikita Koloff w/ Ivan rips some punk’s head off… he holds up the US title and says that he will be coming for the World Title!

Lex Luger cuts a nice promo on the World Title situation… he says he takes on Muta in Japan in just a couple of weeks. He knows that Japan is going to be hostile and Muta will be favored but he wants to show the fans that he is a true world’s champion!

Sting walks out with his buddies Flyin Brian and the Z-Man!

The-Zman and Flyin Brian vs The Great Muta & Masa Chono w/ Paul E ends up being a very good tag team match for TV. Chono is not new to WCW but maybe to this crowd… he is polished and looks the part… Muta is over like rover… Z-Man does some good work but Flyin Brian is the star of the show. We get about 9-minutes of action with these guys busting their ass. Sting is pumping things up but then we see all hell break loose with someone walking out from the back… that’s Scott Flash Norton! Norton comes up from behind Sting and grabs him for a FULL NELSON! Chono comes down and he is about to kick Sting but Flyin Brian jumps through the ropes and hits a dive on Chono! Davey Boy and Owen run out and attack Scott Norton and break him off Sting! Sting is grabbing his knee. Inside the ring… Z-Man turns around and Muta with a NASTY Shining Wizard Knee and then the 3-count!

We get some chaos to finish things up as Flyin Brian checks on Sting… Owen and Davey are there… they get in the ring with Z-Man…  Paul E has got his guys backing up but then out of the back comes Zeus again! He’s with Sherri and the Skyscrapers… they are coming towards the ring… Sting is grasping his knee…  out of nowhere… Lex Luger runs out of the back, and he’s got a chair! Luger is standing in front of Sting… Zeus is being held back! Fans we’ll be live in the Omnni tomorrow night!

April - Atlanta, GA – Omni - Sunday, April 14

Superspecial house show from the Omni tonight…

The Rockers defeated the Samoans w/ Gary Hart in a fast paced brawling match. The Rockers are very over right now.

The Z-Man, Owen Hart, & Davey Boy Smith defeated Vega & The Boricuas in a six-man

Nasty Boys vs The Skyscrapers went to a no contest/double DQ. They tore the ringside area apart.

Abdullah the Butcher defeated Big Josh

The JYD defeated the OMG via Count Out

The Road Warriors defeated Power & Glory in a title for title match via count out. P&G tried to leave the arena but the Rockers caught them and threw them back in the ring for a 4 on 2 beatdown!

Mike Rotundo w/ Kevin Sullivan defeated Johnny Ace - woof

Nikita Koloff & The Great Muta defeated Flyin Brian and Lex Luger in a helluva tag team match. Sting is at ringside and he’s attacked… it is the Samoans with Gary Hart… Ivan Koloff is orchestrating everything… Sting is carted out… this causes a distraction for Muta to MYST Luger… then Nikita with a sickle to the back of Pillman’s neck and he goes down… Nikita covers for the 3-count… pure chaos in the Omni right now…

*Mike McGuirk announces that the final match of the night will be a last man standing match and she runs through the rules that it is no count out - no disqualifiication - the man who fails to reach the 10-count loses the match!

Ron Garvin vs Rick Martel - LAST MAN STANDING ends up being one of those hidden gems that has got a lot of good stuff… number one… it is the last big time meaningful match for Ron Garvin in WCW and he lays everything out. He is a bloodied mess when all is said and done. Martel juices hard and he gives the performance of a lifetime in a brawl that many people think he has no chance at winning. Brother Love even gets involved and when all is said and done he’s got Martel’s blood all over his white suit - an amazing visual. We have a couple of close calls but then we see Garvin make one last effort as he rises to his feet at the 9-count and then he brings the fury. The finish sees Ron Garvin with a couple of huge shots and then he comes off the top rope with a shot that knocks Martel out and he is down on the mat. The referee counts to 10 for both men and like Rocky 2 - Ron Garvin makes his way to his feet and gets the win. No title on the line… but damn what a brawl!

The Rockers get the Atlanta crowd fired up.

A trios match gives the faces some shine.

The Nasty's won't back down from Scary Sherri's monsters.

Speaking of monsters, Abdullah gets a nice win.

JYD takes down an entire gang.

P&G weren't going to escape so easily.

Rotundo & Sullivan could be something.

Sting gets targeted in a crazy scene.

Garvin wins a bloodbath in a much deserved main event.

I sincerely appreciate your feedback - just wanted to make sure you saw I had a TV posted there as well before the Omni show. Had a couple of little nuggets to build from. You keep us going buddy - I appreciate it!

Dang my email took me straight to the Omni post. Fixing now.

Gotta say a price of 40k definitely explains why all the heels are taking shots at the Stinger. Sherri's confident Zeus can get her that payday, can't say I blame her. Question is, who's putting up the cash?

With all the hype on Muta, I wouldn't be surprised if he walks out of Tokyo with the gold.

Quite the debut for Scott Norton as he inserts himself into possibly WCW's biggest storyline.

Can't help but smile reading how some guys are just....there.

Really liked all the chaos surrounding Sting.  With Zeus and the $40,000 bounty announced last week, Sting has plenty of foes to deal with as he cements his reign.  I' trying to do this with Lawler in the USWA but need a few lessons on setting up a smoke screen of people in front of him before I get to the next big thing.

It can be done. I got a pretty decent run out of the Jackal, of all people, challenging Ricky Steamboat before the Dragon faced the Terror Collective.

I always loved a good bounty angle. This will elevate Sting to an even higher level and keeps his story fresh with a variety of characters to face.

Sherri's tearing it here and is a crucial part of getting the Skyscrapers and Zeus over

Tully and JJ has been such an entertaining story

Love the quick descriptions of the squash matches along with straight to the point promos. Very well paced shows.

The Omni show was a lot of fun

Yep, the Rockers are tearing it up

Zenk, Owen and Bulldog continue to gel well together

I'm looking forward to more chaos with the Nasty Boys and Skyscrapers

RW's, Rockers and P&G could turn into a fun 3 way feud.

My favorite version of Rotundo was his Varsity Club days. Seeing him with Sullivan got a pop from me

That was one hell of a tag match!

DAMN! Garvin and Martel tore the house down! Garvin doesn't get the title but man he left his mark in WCW with that win.

Weekend of 4/21

WCW Power Hour -Tony Schiavone is going solo this morning… we hear about the big tour of Japan coming up this week and Paul E is getting Muta ready to win the World title… or so he says. We’ve also got the Television Championship on the line tonight… Rick Martel takes on the Z-Man!

We’ve got a couple of easy squash matches… the Skyscrapers kill two young job de bobs… The Diamond Studd hits a Diamond Death Drop and sends the guy flying through the ropes upon collision… The Rockers shine in tag team action… Big Josh lays out some heavy set ham and egger….now it is time for our main event… oh wait… the top 10!

WCW Top 10
Lex Luger - WCW Champion

  1. Great Muta - International Champion
  2. Nikita Koloff - United States Champion
  3. Rick Martel - Television Champion
  4. Flyin Brian
  5. The Z-Man
  6. The Diamond Studd
  7. Owen Hart
  8. Michael Rotundo
  9. Davey Boy Smith
  10. The One Man Gang

Main Event: The Z-Man took on Rick Martel for the television championship. Martel - with a heavy bandage on his head and bruised eye… looks rough. Martel still looks good in the ring… Brother Love has got his blood stained coat on… Zenk seems to be going for broke on every move. These guys go 12-minutes and then the final three look like Martel is going try and run out the clock! Z-Man goes for the flying dropkick but Martel moves… he goes for the Boston Crab but Z-Man pushes his legs through and Martel goes flying into the turnbuckle… Time is running out… Zenk grabs Martel for a backslide and the 1…2……3!!!! The bell rings at the same time… We’re running out of television time…  fans we gotta go…

World Championship Wrestling -

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us right into action and we see footage from the match earlier today on Power Hour…

Main Event: The Z-Man took on Rick Martel for the television championship. Martel - with a heavy bandage on his head and bruised eye… looks rough. Martel still looks good in the ring… Brother Love has got his blood stained coat on… Zenk seems to be going for broke on every move. The bell rings at the same time… We’re running out of television time…  fans we gotta go… The referee is conversing with Mike McGuirk…  Brother Love grabs the television title…  the referee tells McGurik the ruling… and she announces…

AND NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION! The Z-Man!

Zenk dropkicks Brother Love into Martel and then he grabs the television title! Owen, Davey, and Pillman all come out to celebrate with him.

We’re back with Jesse and Jim Ross putting over the new television champion but he’s going to have to defend his title next week right here on World Championship Wrestling. We find out that next week, WCW superstars will be in Japan for a huge supershow on Friday night and it is headlined by Lex Luger taking on The Great Muta for the WCW Championship, The Road Warriors will also defend the WCW Tag Team Championship against the team of Scott Norton and Masa Chono! Owen Hart will also be in action on the huge Japanese card. Next week though, Sting will be here in the arena and he’s going to address the $40,000 bounty. Let’s head to the ring!

Michael Rotundo w/ Kevin Sullivan in the full on Varsity Gear Garb does some decent work. We hear Rotundo say he is going to be the first in line to take on the Z-Man for the US title!

The Nasty Boys beat a couple of bums but it soon turns exciting when the Skyscrapers show up with Sherri and Zeus and they are challenging the Nasties to a fight next week!

We get a promo from JJ Dillon who makes it clear that he will not step into the ring with Tully Blanchard… Tully says he can pick anyone in WCW… anyone on Turner’s contract… hell he could get David Justice from the Braves if he wanted… JJ then stops him and begs the question… anyone under the Turner umbrella… Tully laughs and agrees and JJ smiles… what’s he up to…

Looks like Gary Hart has secured the services of the One Man Gang to go along with Abdullah the Butcher and these two guys are nuts! As a tag team… I don’t know who could stand toe to toe with them.

Crush comes out and works the crowd… he’s getting a following.

The Road Warriors come out to talk about their issue in Japan next week with Chono and Norton… but then the Rockers come out and Marty and Shawn say… if they come back to the USA with the titles… then at Capital Combat… they want to challenge for the belts! The Roadies shake their hands and agree…

Nikita Koloff rips some poor schmucks face off with a clothesline and he then cuts a promo with Ivan Koloff saying that he isn’t the one who put the bounty out on Sting but he will be the one to cash it in!

Flyin Brian, Owen Hart, & Davey Boy get a nice six-man win.

We get a promo from Sting and Lex Luger… Sting says he is going to send all the positive vibes he can to Japan and can’t wait to see Luger come back with the title. Luger says he knows it’s going to be a hostile environment but he is going to show Muta why he’s the one true world champion of professional wrestling and he is the complete TOTAL PACKAGE!

Main Event Time… The Diamond Studd gets the showcase tonight against The JYD… Jesse puts Studd through the roof and just really makes him seem like the next big thing. Speaking of big things… Hall ends up using a low blow to put JYD down rather than the Death Drop… I wonder if the JYD is wanting to do business… either way the Studd looks like a stud and next week is going to be a big week for WCW as we prepare for Japan and then Capital Combat!

Heading to the NFL draft so I needed to get this out early... ENJOY!

Weekend of 4/25

WCW Power Hour -

I want you to keep in mind that Power Hour is shown at 9am EST. This show goes from 9am - 10am on Saturday Morning leading to World Championship Wrestling on Saturday Night at 6:05pm EST.

Tony Schiavone brings us in for a fun Power Hour. He covers the big show in Japan that is happening as we speak. We hear about Muta vs Luger for the World Title - The Road Warriors defending the WCW tag Titles against Scott Norton and Masa Chono - Owen Hart takes on Kensuke Sasaki - plus we’ll see Abdullah the Butcher teaming with the One Man Gang against two Japanese talents. This morning on Power Hour we’ve got some more talent… let’s go to the ring!

The JYD gets a nice win… he looks huge.

The Skyscrapers w/ Sherri get a win and we hear them put over their match with the Nasty Boys tonight!

WCW Top Ten looks the same… Luger is at the top of the heap!

Tatanka and Wahoo team up for a nice win.

Crush comes out and looks huge and gets a huge win.

Main Event time… Michael Rotundo w/ Kevin Sullivan - full on Varsity Club defeats Big Josh with some outside help… JYD comes back out to even the odds.

As we’re about to close out the show… Tony Schiavone says he has a phone call coming in from Japan… it is Paul E Dangerously… he is going nuts! He is screaming that MUTA WON THE TITLE! MUTA WON THE TITLE! The phone hangs up… Schiavone is at a loss… more on this tonight for WCW!

World Championship Wrestling -

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us in… we’ve got a big night of action… plus we’ve got updates from Japan. Ventura is all smiles as Jim Ross puts over the event. We’ve got action right away though… let’s go to the ring.

The Nasty Boys vs Skyscrapers w/ Sherri - this ends up as a no contest… no sell… complete chaos event. Zeus even gets involved to tear apart Knobbs but Sags humbles him with a wooden chair to the back that shatters everywhere! Officials and agents are out here to calm this thing down…

Davey Boy Smith with a huge pop from the crowd… he looks jacked… stacked… and ends up Powerslaming the shit out of some dweeb.

The Samoans are out here without Gary Hart who is in Japan. They bite some guys face and draw some juice… he’s going to need some help!

Tully Blanchard comes out to tell everyone about just how he plans to put an end to the JJ Dillon era in WCW. He says at Capital Combat… he doesn’t care who JJ Dillon brings out there… he is going to wipe the mat with them and it is going to be a night to remember!

The Diamond Studd with a good win… Jesse puts over how he is the number one contender for the TV Title… he should be facing the winner of the main event tonight!

We get a nice promo for ADAM BOMB who will make his big debut next week right here on World Championship Wrestling!

Power & Glory w/ Brother Love show off some good tag team work and the US tag Team Champions continue to prove their worth in this tough tag team division.

Flyin Brian with a good win tonight and he looks primed and ready for whatever comes next.

We find out that Pillman is going to be facing Nikita Koloff at Capital Combat for the WCW United States Championship. That brings out his good buddy Sting!

Sting: You know… a couple of weeks ago… I didn’t think I’d need it… but I was attacked… they went after my knee and it made me think… maybe I need a little back up… not 24/7… but for some big events. Well I am here to announce… at Capital Combat… when Flyin Brian challenges Nikita Koloff with the US title… I am going to be there in his corner… and you Uncle Ivan… if you’ve got any more buddies… well take a look at this…

We then see a video of ROBOCOP saying he’s going to be in Capital Combat to help WCW most powerful asset… STING to keep track on anyone who is going against the LAW! ROBOCOP WILL BE AT CAPITAL COMBAT…. GET PUMPED!

The Rockers get a good tag team win and pump up their issue with the Road Warriors… they hope to face the tag champions soon!

We get a special announcement as Jesse and Jim Ross are on the horn with Eric Bichoff who is in Japan… he makes the following announcements…

Updates from Japan…

Kensuke Sasaki barely defeated Owen Hart with an amazing counter from a standing moonsault. Both men gave it their all during the contest!

Abdullah the Butcher and The One Man Gang almost caused a riot as they went after fans after their match! They may be banned from the country!

WCW Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors defeated Masa Chono & Scott Norton. This one was one of the most physical matches he’s ever seen.

In a match full of controversy… Muta looks to have defeated Lex Luger for the WCW championship…Lex Luger hoisted Muta up for the Torture Rack… but when he turned around Muta’s leg kicked the referee, a WCW official, and knocked him out. Luger went to check on the referee but Muta came out of nowhere with the MYST and then hit a SHINING WIZARD! The second referee, a Japanese referee, came in the ring and made the count and Muta looks to have won the title! We hope to have more on this situation next week!

TV TITLE REMATCH - The Z-Man vs Rick Martel - A whale of a contest here… the World Title controversy is the topic on the table but in the ring, Zenk and Martel go for broke for their 15-minutes and they use all of it. Brother Love is out there cheering on Martel with everything he’s got but Z-Man is in a groove right now. The finish, at the final moments… Zenk goes for a high cross body but Martel rolls through… shows his strength… hits a big body slam and then goes for the Boston Crab but Zenk rolls his legs through and Martel goes flying. Martel runs at Zenk in the corner but The Z-Man with a leap frog… Martel nails the turnbuckle… Zenk with a dropkick to the back and Martel hits the turnbuckle again… Zenk then grabs him for a German Suplex and the 1….2….3!!

The Z-Man with a big win… Martel gave it everything he’s got… the crowd is going wild… we’ve got a lot of stuff going on with the World Title and the Japanese show…  May is upond us!

What an ending to Power Hour with Paul E losing his mind over the phone as his man has won the world title!

The Nasty's & Skyscrapers get nuts and the Nasty's show they know how to handle Zeus.

Sasaki with quite the debut with a win over Owen.

Abby & OMG may have just caused an international incident!

Roadies make a strong impression in Japan.

Now that we've seen Muta's win, I think WCW officials are gonna have something to say.

Z man legitimizes his TV title win.

Loved all the title storylines.

Z-Man pinning Martel at the last second was a great TV moment. It looks like a lot of wrestlers are already lining up for a shot.

The JJ/Tully story is getting really interesting. What does JJ have in mind?

JYD doesn't seem all that motivated lately.

Damn, OMG and Abby as a tag team. Better bring in extra security

I have a feeling they'll be coming out from all over to collect the bounty on Sting

Jesse's really putting over the Stud. Could gold be in his future?

Fun show in Japan. A lot of controversy going on with the world title. Who's the champ? Muta or Luger? I'll be tuning in next week to find out

Capitol Combat is shaping up nicely. I can't wait to see what you have planned with Robocop

May 3rd

WCW Power Hour -

Tony Schiavone is going solo again this week - he says that Paul E will be on World Championship Wrestling tonight with the “disputed” WCW Champion, the Great Muta. We’ll also see the debut of Adam Bomb tonight on WCW… on Power Hour though, we will hear from Sting… and his personal safety officer… Robocop!

Tatanka with a nice win… getting some momentum back.

Roma and Hercules get a big win… sans Brother Love but they do still have the US tag titles.

Owen Hart returns with a big win.

WCW Top 10 is currently in shambles… JJ Dillon announces that there will be an announcement on the World Title tonight!

We then get a fun little video package of some of the heels calling out Sting and the $40,000 bounty… We see Gary Hart with the Samoans…. Abdullah and Gang! Sherri has got the Skyscrapers and Zeus. Nikita and Ivan say they are the ones who hurt Sting in the first place and now their going to finish the job! We then see a special video of a briefcase… and it opens… but it has a sign… the bounty has been raised to $50,000!

Flyin Brian with a good win.

The Nasty Boys look good and even cut a promo on the Skyscrapers… these two teams are headed for a Clash at the Capital Combat!

TV Title on the line in the Main Event when the Z-Man defeats Savio Vega!

The final segment shows Sting slamming the briefcase shut… he puts over the bounty but says no amount of money is going to keep him down… then we hear the footsteps… Sting looks over and smiles… as the screen fades we see Sting shaking hands with Robocop!

World Championship Wrestling -

Jim Ross & Jesse Ventura bring us in for a huge night… we’ve got a lot of the table… let’s go to the ring…

Davey Boy Smith with a big win over Castillo!

JJ Dillon comes out to announce the World Title situation, but Tully Blanchard comes out, and he gives JJ the business! Tully is poking him in the chest… but then JJ fires back… he says that he’s tired of Blanchard… he is bringing his guest in next week and he’s going to deal with Blanchard once and for all!

Michael Rotundo with a nice win… he and Sullivan put over the TVT title and say they want to challenge Zenk next week!

We get a special video package and then out comes… ADAM BOMB! This guy is jacked to the gills… he’s got a good look… he looks to almost rip the head off of his opponent… now a SPINNINGPOWERBOMB! He calls that the A-BOMB! His opponent lands on his back in a bad way… that wasn’t good… Adam Bomb is here.

The Samoans get a nice little with… Gary Hart… back from Japan… he says they are due for some gold and the Road Warriors are hiding!

Nikita Koloff comes out with Ivan and they put over the US title and how he’s the rightful number one contender… this brings out Brian Pillman who says that he can’t wait to challenge Nikita at Capital Combat… Ivan tries to grab Pillman but Flyin Brian sneaks loose and he nails Ivan and then headbutts Nikita and draws some blood! Nikita is wiping the blood from his face! The fans are going wild!

We get the Rockers in a tag team match… but then the Samoans run out… and here comes Abdullah and Gang! It is a 4 on 2 beatdown but here come the Road Warriors to even the odds. We find out that the Rockers and Road Warriors will face at Capital Combat… but they may not make it with Gary Hart’s men on the hunt!

Crush gets a good win… he looks great as a big man babyface.

We get another shot at the World Title issue… here comes JJ Dillon but he is interrupted by Paul E who walks out with Muta, but he’s not alone… here’s Scott Norton, Chono, and Kensuke Sasaki. They flank Muta who is holding the International Championship. We see footage of the end of the Luger/Muta match from Japan. Paul E is making the biggest stink about Muta being the champion but Dillon won’t say boo… we then hear that at Capital Combat the title will be up for grabs with Muta taking on Lex Luger. The title is currently held up… the winner will be the undisputed WCW World Champion! Paul E spits on the ground by Dillon and Muta does the slit throat gimmick… we’ll see these guys later.

The Diamond Studd with a big win… he is on the hunt for the TV Title!

The Skyscrapers and Sherri w/ Zeus get a big win… Nash… well he’s not in the ring too much but he looks good… Spivey seems to get upset… not sure if this one is working out!

MAIN EVENT time… Owen Hart & The Z-Man take on Chono & Muta in tag team action… soon we see Norton and Sasuke come out with Paul E and this one is about to break out… but here comes Davey Boy to even up the odds a little… the finish sees Owen eat the MYST from Muta before going out of the ring and Norton powerslaming him on the concrete leading to the 10-count but here comes Bulldog and Scott Norton going toe to toe and these boys are letting em fly! Zenk is now out there with Chono and Sasuke… Muta is looking on but here comes Lex Luger out of the back and the crowd explodes! The Total Package comes in the ring and nails Muta with a couple of big clotheslines and then he presses him up and tosses him over the top rope onto Chono, Sasuke, and Norton! The crowd is going nuts! Davey, Owen, and Zenk get back in the ring… the babyfaces reign supreme here tonight on this huge show…

The World title is held up and Muta & Luger will meet again at Capital COmbat to decide who is the undisputed champion.

Anyone looking to take out Sting now has 10k more reasons.

Sherri may be having some tension between her Skyscrapers.

JJ has found his man to shut Tully up.

Sullivan has made a serious difference for Rotundo.
