Bob Morris
WWE.com announced that William Regal was suspended 60 days for a wellness policy violation. That explains why he was ousted as Raw general manager last night. So much for all the talk about how Regal had "cleaned himself up." JHawk
Funny how normal looking guys like Regal keep getting caught and seemingly jacked up guys like Triple H and Cena never do. I'd like to think it's because Cena and HHH are clean but...
S.L.L.
Well, that sucks. And here I was getting all psyched up at the prospect of William Regal: Main Eventer. Way to pull a Jeff Hardy and cut yourself off at the knees at the height of your push, guy.
Tim Evans
Well I guess that's the reason he looks so much younger now.
Kronos
I was loving this push he was getting! Dang it! Why do these guys have to self-destruct like this?
Dylan Waco
Easier to throw Regal under the buss then Batista or roided Taker
sek69
Cena does appear to be smaller in size since he's come back from his injury. However it does seem like Randy Orton is looking suddenly larger. Maybe Regal should have used his friendship with HHH to ask how he beats the test. Loss
It's disappointing, but not really surprising. People like to hear success stories when it comes to addiction, but this sadly doesn't appear to be a success story. Too bad.
Kronos
Easier to throw Regal under the buss then Batista or roided Taker Yes, that may be the point. How can anyone look at Dave and not say he's on something? But he's not suspended. Damn these double standards. Regal is more entertaining in and out of the ring that HHH or Batista combined. . . Loss
I'm not arguing that Batista is clean, but I do remember noticing a change in him after Vince told everyone to get off the stuff.
Bob Morris
I would suspect it has much to do with which wrestlers are smarter about how to pass the tests, even if the testing process is flawed. I recall when the Benoit murder/suicide happened and the discussion about testing procedures for steroids and other drugs came up, somebody wrote to Dave Meltzer about simple ways people can beat tests, such as eating certain foods prior to the tests. Another part to consider is _how much_ somebody is taking. A wrestler who takes steroids every week is more likely to get caught than the wrestlers who uses them, say, every other month. Too many smarks and other ignorant folks tend to view steroids as being a black-and-white issue, either you're on them and massively muscular or you're not and you're tiny. There are all kinds of different hormones, different dosage sizes, etcetera. And with the WWE's bizarrely lenient system for determining what an official positive test is, it leaves a lot of wiggle room. Like, Batista easily could just be doing a smaller dosage or different combination of steroids than he used to, retain most of his body mass, but still test clean. Al
There is also no test yet for HGH.

There's no success stories when it comes to addiction in wrestling if the definition of success is that you continue to wrestle while never touching steroids ever again or taking another pain pill. Guest *FH*
That's one thing nobody ever seems to remember. Too many smarks and other ignorant folks tend to view steroids as being a black-and-white issue, either you're on them and massively muscular or you're not and you're tiny. Hand in hand with that is many "smart" fans denying that their darlings are on anything, as steroids are somehow only for big lugs who can't work. Remember for years smarks swearing that Benoit was natural? There is also no test yet for HGH. There's a test for it but, from what I've read, it's not so great because it can only detect very recent HGH use, like a day or maybe two days before the test. Also, it's a blood test, which is the legitimate reason unions in real sports fight it so hard -- health privacy issues.
