  1. The question though is why?? Was it because the crowd was in a bad mood after the suicide angle? Was it because of bad promotion? I know who Juventud is but I don't know who Kid Kash is. Of course that could be my own fault for not watching Smackdown. Have the WWE fans thumbed their noses up at cruisers? Have they been taught by the WWE to be a WWE audience? WP -- Downloading Benoit vs Booker at this very second And who is also very happy that the Undertaker beat Randy Orton.
  2. got a tap from a sharpshooter during a ref bump sequence, Cool, just noticed this. Smart stuff. THat would make the whole crowd think that Benoit despite "winning" might actually lose later on and still be swept. I bet a lot of people watching this live were thinking just that. I know it would've been crossing my mind.
  3. Guess Benoit's demise has been greatly exaggerated. Match #2 was my match of the year so far so if this one is actually better I can't wait to see it. I was going to watch it tonight but fate was against me. Sharmell's interference which has cost Benoit numerous times already ought to have added a great deal of suspense to this bout especially considering Benoit was on the brink of being swept tonight. Surviving that interference would we a good way to do this match. It'll be interesting to see how the ake kick plays a factor here because Booker has beaten Benoit several times with it as of late. I can really see this match being a great one since they could do a few different things storyline wise to make the match better. The suspense is going to be high here. I heard Benoit did the three amigos tonight. If anyone can find a link so I can download this tonight please tell me. WP -- Maybe enjoying this even more than I did in 98 despite the execution not being as good anymore
  4. Just a few thoughts: Is the WWE cashing in on the rumours that Benoit's leaving to make more intrigue for the match this Sunday? Benoit has not wrestled on several of the last WWE houseshows. Was he just getting a break or is there something more to that? Is the WWE going this far out to cash in on the rumours? Why was Benoit not on Smackdown or Velocity at all? Why wasn't he even in an interview segment? The match on Sunday is important to him since he could be swept. It's for the US title in a best of 7 series. This is like you know important. Why not ask his feelings on the subject? For anyone who watched Smackdown did they give away the victor of the series through the commentary? Or was it too hard to read into?
  5. So on a rescent thread on deathvalley it mentions that Kawada has an autobiography in Japanese. Has anyone read this or know of the contents inside? Man, that'd be one awesome read. His thoughts on several subjects would be very interesting.
  6. Is that different rumour(s) or the same one that's here?
  7. Fans are resonsible to a degree but when it all comes down to it it's the person himself who makes the final decision. What causes the final decision? Ego. I'm drug free except for stuff I've taken for headaches at times. I don't drink alcholol, smoke weed or anything like that. Yet, I know what it's like to be tempted to go up one extra rung on the physique ladder and take roids. I don't even though I completely understand the inclanation to do so. Yes, you can say society pressures you into doing so but when it all comes down to the wire it's you who pressures yourself. You're the one who wants to jump higher, run faster, be stronger, look better, get accolades from the crowd and so on. All of that comes from one thing -- ego which you have to have tons of if you want to be a top notch wrestler. It may be packaged in different forms and people may not even notice it at first but it's what drives every top preformer or person in society to succeed. In fact, it's what drives everyone. Bret Hart in a quote said it best. When Jim Ross asked him how the fans want to remember him he went on to some quote that without ego you are lost and indeed you are. There's a connection with the fans demanding a lot from the wrestlers and forcing them to do so but let's be honest it's the wrestlers themselves who love to be cheered by the crowd. Yes, as the wrestlers say in their politically correct way they love making the crowd happy and "doing it for the fans" but truth be known they're doing a lot of it for themselves. The cheers are what makes them happy. It inflates the ego. What I'm trying to say here is that the wrestlers push themselves and the blame shouldn't all go on the crowd.

  9. I'm looking forward to this best match project because I want to see what the best matches from there are. Currently, I hate a good deal of Memphis wrestling and I want to see if that will change. It's going to be tough to beat Savage though. He was awesome in that WWF DVDVR set.
  10. AJPW had comedy stuff. Just saying. Please someone explain to me why people like Joe vs Punk. I watched the best of the series, the second match and to be honest hated it. I couldn't wait untill it was over. There wasn't one thing I found compelling in it at all. Nothing. Where's all this great storytelling, great work and emotion coming from? Now I realise they must be doing something right to make people like their matches but I just don't get it.
  11. There in no rhyme or reason now or EVA for you to compare the suckness of Nathan Jones to the lacklusterness of Booker T. Please cease these actions. No it wasnt. Well, you already pointed out; ANYWAY, other people whove been involved in good matches with Booker T (off the top of my head) include: -Every single one of those RAW tag matches when he was teaming with Goldust. -HHH -Angle -Christian -Rod Price -John Tatum -Scott Steiner -Kevin Nash I think Rudo's too hard on Booker T but he is 100% on with the Benoit vs Batista match. It was the point where the fans REALLY decided to cheer Batista. That was the TSN turning point as far as Batista's overness with the crowd goes. That match was all about Batista and it worked wonders for that.
  12. Benoit vs Booker is as good as anything that I've seen this year. Some of my other best matches of the year would probably be HHH vs Flair at SS, Eddie vs Rey from Smackdown, Angle vs Michaels at Mania and Michaels vs Benjamin from Raw.
  13. Watch the Tuesday match from the Smackdown special. If you're a member from smarkschoice Ray has uploaded this match in their download special. It is a legit great match and I now say Benoit's best of the year. It's better than any other match they've had this year by a good margin.
  14. I don't know how many people are noticing so I thought I'd start a topic here and get some discussion going. Of course the discussion will be about my favourite topic. Chris Benoit who I feel has really been on lately. 3 matches of late where I feel he's really shone are his bouts against Bradshaw, Regal and the last match against Booker T in the best of 7 series. First off I want to talk about the Bradshaw Smackdown bout which was very good and featured a great preformance by Benoit. I probably should talk about these matches right after I see them instead of waiting but here I go anyway. The Brashaw match featured some smart work and counters which definitely put it a step above their previous bout which was really just a bare bones minimum match that didn't give anything anyway. ONe of the first transistions I remember from this was Benoit taking over on Bradhsaw via a series of elbows to Bradshaw's head followed by a double kick to Bradshaw's face concentrating on the same area. Right there I knew I was in for a nice little bout. THe Booker T intereference and the commercial break hurt the flow of the bout but once they got back on track it was very good. The one problem the match did have for me was that Bradshaw's beatdown segment on Benoit just wasn't long enough. Benoit's counters were very good and appealing but they needed to be spaced out more and for that you needed a longer control segment. I actually liked the bear hugs as they played in nicely with the bout but I thought there were just too many of them in a short time span that took the pace of the match down. Again, I think a longer control segment by Bradshaw would've been better here for me. One other thing here that bothered me was the point where Benoit small packaged Bradshaw. Now if I could be super arrogant here and guess what was supposed to happen in the ring I would say Benoit was hitting the ropes only to come back and get caught by Bradshaw. However, Bradshaw had a different idea and wanted Benoit to small package him. Benoit than did so on the spur of the moment. Maybe if Bradshaw had hit Benoit there Benoit would've looked like he was in more trouble during his beatdown segment and his comebacks would've been spaced out a little bit better. The ending segment was pretty good. Benoit repeatably going for the sharpshooter only for Bradshaw to counter only for Benoit to finally snag an oppurtunity out of mid air by capatalising on a hurt Bradshaw's arm was pretty ace. Once again though I think a longer heel control segment would've helped this part of the bout too. Basically the ending was all Benoit who I feel was the star of the bout. When the face does an all out ending like this where he mostly hits just his offence I find it's much more satisfactory when preceded by a long beatdown by a heel. That's what Stampede wrestling has taught me. In conclusion, The match in a way reminded me of Williams vs Kobashi from 9/94 in that they hit some big bombs at the beginning and as a result have to sell them accordingly (Bradshaw doing the forearm to Benoit's back) When you do that you risk the match having too much selling at the beginning which can force a good match at the end not to be as climatic. However, I don't think they fell into this "trap" too bad and the match came out well. (What's really bad is when people hit weak offence and they sell too much offence in the beginning) I think a PPV match here with a little bit more time with both wresters emptying out their arsenals (Bradshaw didn't let out some of his offence here) would equal a terrific match. Next up we have Benoit vs Booker T. They've already had a bunch with each one being different in terms of quality. The US title loss, Survivor Series and match #2 of the best of 7 being the best of the bunch so far. I liked Survivor Series. It didn't come together majically like the Match #2 of the best of 7 but it did feature Benoit making a nice multistage gradual comeback after being on the defensive for awhile. Right there it showed me that Benoit was taking the series as serious as he could. This match was more of an eyeopener on what could happen if everything clicked. Which brings me to the latest Smackdown bout between the two. I just watched it and there was just so many things I loved about it that I probably should watch it again so I can take note of them all but right now I'm in a rush and I want to get this typed so we'll just go with one viewing for now. I loved this and once again I thought Benoit really shined here. He brought out some of his old offence and was just feeling it. At first I wasn't feeling this match. I was a little down over some stuff and wasn't feeling it myself. And than I noticed while Benoit was still ace in his offence he wasn't as crisp as he was in the past like when he was attempting a hip toss early on. But than Benoit gives an all out intense belly to back suplex to a bigger man and that was it. I was in. If Benoit cares that much about this bout than you better believe that I'm going to care about it that much too. That's the Benoit I know, love, adore and cherish more than life itself. Benoit dominates for the first bit and than Booker takes control for a brief period with with a stun gun on the top rope and an elbow to Benoit's face (loved how Booker concentrated on Benoit's upper body area). I thought that might've been the transistion to offence for Booker but NOOO! Benoit comes back and they do an all out cool sequence where Benoit backdrops Booker to the outside and attempts his suicide dive of doom. Once again he misses and takes a really bad bump which ends up being the true transistion to Booker's offence. Who can not feel sympthany for Benoit after that bump? If memory serves correct I believe this may have been the point where he's indicating he already has head damage on the outside. From there we go to commercial break and it's Booker who's back on offence. I really like the control segment here by Booker even though it was a little too short for my liking. It flowed well but what I really liked was Benoit's comebacks during it. Particuary the chops which he let out in abundance here. It's the nice philosophy of working a bodypart but in a different sense in what we normally we think of in a wrestling match in that Benoit continually beat on his chest to help him comeback. Benoit gets back on offence (I'm forgetting exactly how he did it but I remember really liking it, loved the belly to bellys) but not for too long as Booker gets a bookend for a good near fall which worked well since it wasn't too long ago that Booker had Benoit in some trouble. They even worked a Sharmell interference tease in here which was smartly worked. Sharmell has been very successful in causing trouble for Benoit in his matches most noticeably with his flying headbutt but here it backfires after a real nice tease which leads to Benoit finally getting his headbutt in for a near fall. The ending was absolutely stellar too. Benoit goes for the german on the apron of the ring only to lose his grip and hit a nestea plunge on himself injuring the head area in an incredible bump. The same area that he hurt on the suicide dive and the same spot that had taken several shots during the bout. The bump and the "selling"? was so believable that nobody even knows if Benoit was legit hurt on the move or not. And here comes the best part of the bout. Benoit is just so smart in there. Benoit's down, he's out of it on his feet and Booker's feeling a little confident as surely nobody could still go on after what Benoit's been through. However, Benoit is the Canadian crippler with the fighting spirit of a million ordinary men and in one desperate last emotional attempt german suplexes Booker out of his boots. Still the weight of everything that has happened finally gets to Benoit and in the best set up for the axe kick I've ever seen succumbs to said axe kick for the 1/2/3. What a match and yet another great preformance by Benoit. This felt like a complete match where they both let everything out of their tank in a attempt to see who truly is the king. If this was the last match of the best of 7 I would be perfectly happy witht it. This is one of those matches where like Benoit vs Lesnar the flow (though almost nothing comes close to that) is just purely magical. Other matches can sound as good on paper but when watched in the ring they are not. This is one of those times where paper doesn't do the match justice. It has to be seen. Loved this. Now we proceed to the latest chaptor of the Benoit vs Regal series. I didn't see their second velocity match because I'm paranoid of that program WWE wants you to download but I did watch this one. The best part of this bout was it was more believably than 99% of your wrestling matches coupled with the fact that it was fresh because of the match structure. Basically it's all one long Regal control segment where you feel extra sympthany for Benoit with his fantastic knocked out loopy selling which was still affecting his from his match with Booker. Cool of Benoit not to forget that. Well, my rant is almost over now. I guess I just want to say that I've been enjoying Benoit's work a lot lately and he's really been showing enthusiam in all aspects of his game.l
  15. Benoit vs Booker T 2nd Match of the best of 7. I just watched this and it ruled all. Benoit has been so on lately. The Regal match should be here too but it might be too short.
  16. HHH vs Flair from Survivor Series. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this.
  17. I watch wrestling to watch good wrestling too. Don't we all? Otherwise we wouldn't watch too much.
  18. Workrate = how hard someone is physically working in the ring. It's as simple as that. Look at the word itself. A lot of ROH's problems come with it being non believable which is kind of funny since they're supposed to be the realistic smark friendly organization. THe ring is horrible. How am I supposed to believe or care about a wrestler when he's taking his bumps on a softer surface? I can't sympthasize with him and I can't believe in what he's doing. Already I'm being taking out of the match. The wrestlers don't look like wrestlers. Now I'm not saying the ROH crew should take more steroids but I've got to be honest. It looks like any guy off the street can get in the ring and wrestle. Now obviously that's not true but that's what it looks like. A problem wrestling can present since it's cooperative is that a wrestler can get away with doing things that they really shouldn't be able to. Top wrestlers and basically all your wrestlers should at least look athletic or at least that they can beat their viewing audience. If they don't look athletic than they should at least be athletic once that bell rings. If they're not than it destroys anything a match has going for it. Wrestling at its core is supposed to be atlhetics in a kayfabe sence. In a nonkayfabe sense it's about athletics and making your audience care. A lot of ROH stars are not engrossing in the ring. They don't look natural. Like wrestling is walking to them. I can watch Marc Rocco wrestle and it is like walking or riding a bike to him. It looks like he belongs in there. The ROH wrestlers can often give off that artificial feel. It's like they're pretending to wrestle instead of just professional wrestling. Now I realise a lot of them are beginners and hopefully this is something that'll improve with time but it something that annoys me. Look at Kobashi and he completely destroyed anyone from ROH in terms of ring presence and being captivating. Of course the ring audience helps destroy any believability a wrestling match may have. I couldn't believe how bad they were in Kobashi vs Joe(however their wrestling was good enough to make the match beliebable all by itself). The wrestlers at times also seem to be wrestling to appease what is supposed to be good in smarky world instead of what is good in a wrestling match. This is what has hurt several of their most talked about matches for me.
  19. This is a good point. As strange as it sounds to say, promotions should try to book at least 1-2 bad matches on every card. Nothing gets over unless it stands out from the pack, and the best way to make a great match stand out is to surround it with other stuff that you know isn't going to upstage it. So very true but you have to be careful when you go this route. Very careful. Diversity is the most important thing I think. WWE I'm disgusted with but I still probably like them the best overall of the 3 mentioned. TNA can be good. They could take over as my fav of the 3 if I start watching them a little bit more ROH sucks. The fans suck. the ring sucks, the believability sucks and the matches from what I see are always overrated. It never fails to happen. I watch one of their critically acclaimed matches and it does nothing for me. One of their rescent matches has commonly gotten 5 stars. I watched it and couldn't even give it one and a half stars. That being said there have been some matches I've enjoyed. Kobashi vs Joe was a lot of fun and a good 3 1/2 star match which I believe most people would enjoy.
  20. Looking forward to it.
  21. I thought it's be fun to write a tiny bit about some of the Stampede workers I'd seen. This is something I'm not too fond of doing becuase I tend to keep a lot of my negative thoughts to myself and something like this can lead you into saying negative stuff. This will be mostly positive. Owen Hart -- Overall the most spectacular of the workers after DK left. RVD and Rey Mysterio in the WWE are two of the wrestlers who capture a newbie's eyes right away. Owen Hart had that same factor. I don't think he was the best worker of the bunch though. However, he definitely was a good choice for the #1 star of the company when he was there. Hiro Hase aka one of the Viet Cong Express members -- Hase was a workhouse in the Viet Cong Express vs Owen Hart/Basserb matches. Very motivated and definitely one of the best workers at the time. Phil Lafleur aka Dan Kroffat -- Haven't seen enough of him but what I did see looked promising. Cuban Assasin -- Assasin probably takes a little bit of a bad rap for that match he had against Yamada that a lot of people have seen. However, he has had better matches against other opponents and had some very good matches against Benoit. He is better as a tag team wrestlter when aligned with his partner Jerry Morrow who collectively form the Cuban Commandoes. Jerry Morrow -- Overall Morrow was pretty good in the ring. I know Lance Storm and others are a big fan of what he's taught them in the ring. He had an ability to put together some intricate wrestling sequences in the ring. Great Gama -- Knew what he was doing in the ring. I think being a little bit more lifelike in his body mannerisms would've made him better in the ring. He kinded of reminded me of Arn Anderson in that he was your solid wrestler always capable of putting on a solid match and sometimes a great match like he did against Benoit. Johnny Smith -- Probably the 2nd best heel in Stampede counting the era from the Dynamite Kid upwards. Some might think he was the first. One of the best heels I've seen from anywhere Smith never did anything besides obviously having talent that would make you cheer for him. What I liked about his heel charactor is that he was a cowardly heel but he knew how not to cross the line and turn himself into a comical, nonbelievable heel which I personally have always detested. He already had the ability to put together great wrestling sequences and had a very nice ability to transistion in a match by heel tatics combined with wrestling moves. Biff Wellington -- Wellington gets frowned upon unfairly at times because it was him and not Owen Hart who was in the NWA tag team tourney back in 92. If we had the internet back in the day people would be arguing on who was better. Benoit, Owen or Wellington. Wellington was your obiviously talented superstar who like many others in the territory was a muscled junior heavyweight like Basserb, Benoit or the Dynamite Kid. In wrestling it can be nice to have a talented superstar who jobs to your wannabe stars making them look good by beating an obviously talented guy but Stampede took it way too far with Wellington treating him almost like a complete loser at a times. Wellington also had a beautiful knack for coming up with something new and making you scream out, "he can do that?" Not quite as consistent as Benoit but on his best night he was right there with him. Jason -- Jason was a masked wrestler dressed like the movie charactor whose charactor worked so well that they turned him face after awhile. A big guy who could who knows how far he could've gone if it wasn't for that car accident he had. The effort was there and the passion to produce a quality match was strong inside him. When a guy his size does the upside down DK flip into the turnbuckle you know he wants it. Ben Basserb -- Basserb was very lifelike in the ring as evident in the Owen/Basserb vs Viet Cong Express matches and in that sense I'd put him ahead of many of the other juniors in the Stampede ring. I never thought he did reach his potential and he was yet another very capable junior wrestler who went full out. Rip Rogers -- Looking back, I can't believe how much double entrende his interviews used to have. Real good wrestler who is in the upper echelon as far as charisma goes. Makahn Singh -- Probably gave too much to his opponentsthough that may have been due to the Stampede style at the time. Makahn was hilarious in his interviews and a super commentator on the microphone. Volkahn Singh -- Had not reached his potential yet but already had an awesome suplex in his reportoire Steve Blackman -- Really good in the ring. Better than he was in the WWF or WWE. Brian Pillman -- Pillman was always hurt so he missed a lot of ring time. He was good at times but watching him you thought more of his potential. Could definitely hold his own in the athletic appartment Mach Hayato -- Was in Stampede around 82 and was mostly used to enhance other wrestlers. Really good in the ring and was like the Dynamite Kid in that he was an innovator for the crowd watching the shows except his moves and wrestling sequences had more of a Mexican flavour to him. I'll never forget watching him dive through the ropes and into the crowd years before ECW was even thought of. Dynamite Kid -- I can't say enough. Innovative, the most insane bumper ever, believable offence, cool wrestling sequences, a true natural heel( #1 Stampede heel in my opinion) and the ability to pull matches out of guys that nobody else could've. Yes, he wasn't perfect in the ring at times but he was the man and than some. Davey Boy -- Very energetic in his youth he had the ability to astound you in the ring at times. Chris Benoit -- One month into his career you can already see him becoming more confident with himself in the ring than when he started. He may have been the best in the territory after it restarted. Lance Idol -- Was in the territory briefly teaming with Benoit in a high profile feud with the Commandoes . I really liked his work and the energy he brought to the ring. He had a flying clothesline very similar to Barry Whindam's flying clothesline.
  22. I watched a lot of wrestling during the last couple of weeks. Two matches that moved me were with Williams vs Kawada and Williams vs Kobashi from 9/23/94 Williams vs Kawada is one of my all time favourite matches. I'm not quite sure of the date though because it's on a comp. Williams was a monstor and I loved how Kawada gradually knocked him down bit by bit until he got the eventual pinfall. Williams was just the perfect champion at the time. Believable, pulling off great matches, tough, charasmatic and strong as anything. I've always been impressed by his work ethic. I don't think people realise how hard he actually works in the ring. This is something that personally always allows me to get into his matches just a little bit more than others. I liked Williams hulking up here as it gave Williams even more of an invincilibilty factor so when Kawada finally knocked him down it was all the more meaningful. Just a beautiful all time classic bout. Now we step into a more controversial bout. Kobashi vs Williams from 9/94. A definite stepup from their match earlier in the year I enjoyed this one a lot more the second time around. I think the pacing bothered me some the first time. I liked the match a lot but it stopped me from enjoying it as much as I could. This time it didn't bother me as much. After a bit they started throwing out some bombs pretty early in the match. They sold the moves well but but because the moves were so strong it didn't allow the match to feel as important as it could've at the end. This time, that didn't bother me at much. I got into the heavy hitting at the beginning and just imagined the pain both wrestlers were going through trying to win the bout. The execution and effort was on. Williams worked his butt off here and of course it goes without saying Kobashi did as well. But what really got me into this bout was Kobashi "heeling" it up. Kobashi in a super match lost to Williams in September of 93 but only after a super human fighting spirit effort. At the time he was a star but not as big a star as we has here. In 93 he was expected to lose. In 94 he's still the underdog but he's an underdog that has a much better chance of winning. And I felt the emotion of Kobashi in this. Kobashi wanted to win this. Badly. Very badly. Kobashi here was at the crossroads. His charactor would be put the test and that's a moment I always love in wrestling. What do you do when you reach that patch in life? What road will you take? Kobashi goes into that bout and wrestles cleanly to start off. He does well and this bout gave off more of an impression that he is more of a peer to Kobashi than an underdog hoping against hope that he can pull off a victory. Kobashi hangs with Williams and he does a good job with it. Kobashi can feel it but yet he knows the task ahead of him is humongous. And Kobashi does it -- he goes for the unsportsmanship route. He goes after the knee of Williams but only for one hit. Enough to keep his dream alive of winning the bout. The beautiful part of all this is that Kobashi only uses the knee as a clutch. He doesn't want to win with a "tainted" knee victory since he is a good guy at hart but he will comprosise his values if only for a brief second if it means he still has a chance of climbing that surmountable mountain. Now comes another excellent part. Kobashi has Williams on the run but can't put him away. Williams being the tough hombre that he is starts to make what looks like an eventual comeback. He gets out of the way of a moonsault and Kobashi starts to panic. Once again he sees that brass ring slipping away from his fingers so the knee like it did previously in the night is targeted. Williams immediatly goes to the outside in considerable plan. Kobashi flustered doesn't have a clue on how to make Williams say uncle so he just desperately nails Williams on the outside while trying to think of something. The ending part I love. Kobashi has Williams in the ring and he's still panicking. He's desperate as even his charactor exposing tricks of attacking the knee did not work. He's there trying to hit the spinning chops to the neck on William in a last ditch effort to finally knock the giant Williams down. Williams is like a video game boss who will just not go down. I believe if memory serves correct Kobashi's desperte chop attempts (great choice of a move to show panic) ends up costing him as Williams counters and destroys Kobashi with his backdrop drivers. Kobashi in a selling move I love does his best to get up on his feet but he is now punch drunk. The punch drunk stuff worked very well here as it expressed his panic, desperation and fighting spirit so vividly especially when he tries to use Williams to get himself back on his feet. I just loved this as I connected so much here with Kobashi, his charactor and how we got to see it unfold when it was put to the test. It was also neat how it was Kobashi's panic attempt that cost him the match. Maybe if he didn't allow his charactor to go the route that it did in the match he could've won. Who knows? Fantastic stuff.
  23. People everywhere underestimate who's using roids. A lot of the times I try to stay away from saying who's on and off but I do want to say this. A LOT more people are on the roids than people think and just not in the WWE. Everyone is way too naive on this subject.
  24. What about the 2nd Benoit vs Regal match? Some say it's better than their 1st one. I haven't seen it yet though.
  25. Jumping Bomb Angels. We can't forget them. I remember them rocking the house on an old tape with Jesse Ventura completely marking out at the end of it comparing them to the Dynamite Kid and Ricky Steamboat. I can't remember much about the match except for being completely mesmorised by the Japanese team. They got robbed over on the deathvalley set with only the MSG match being nominated. Considering that I had that as the #2 match from the deathvalley set I feel they got unfairly treated over at DVDVR. I nominate that match - whatever one it was. Can someone help me? JBA vs Glamour Girls Rumble 88 - reportably better than MSG! The High Flyers tape has a match on it too And there's yet another match of these too. If anyone can nominate any of these matches do so!! The Rumble 88 match has to be awesome
