  1. Good angle there with Hernandez and Atlas. I'm still on team Gordman and Goliath despite their inability to win a match. I've switched my allegiance in the Brisco/Funks war too and now I'm rooting for Dory to get revenge for his brother having his career ended by Jack Brisco in that WWF tag match.
  2. I'll be running Southwest for the duration of this project, not interested in ever doing a switch. I honestly don't think anyone is going to take over the WWF. If you're someone really bothered by the idea of not having WWF in the game you're gonna be the one to have to fall on that sword.
  3. I'll go ahead and pass. Don't need any new talent, already juggling stuff to keep everyone on my roster involved.
  4. dawho5 already indicated he wanted Denis Goulet.
  5. I did really love the promos before the tag match. It may have also been a deal where I had really high expectations for the tag match due to the stipulations and really low expectations for the Reagan/Prichard match.
  6. It's very strange to me to admit that I actually liked that Mark Regan/Tom Prichard match more than the Dusty/JYD vs. DiBiaise & Kamala Double Chain/Bullrope match. But that's how it played out.
  7. Yes this is fine. You're not obligated to do any more than 1 show a week really. Anything more than that is up to you. I'm not sure how we decide who gets what though as both of the new writers have indicated an interest in taking over Florida.
  8. Yea, it was pretty well established during the whole draft process that everyone was going to be on an equal basis. The way to make yourself "stand out" is through creative booking or creative use of talent deals. There shouldn't be any penalty/reward for not posting daily shows.
  9. Only guy on my roster like that is Bulldog Brower and I'm still waiting for the thing I have planned to bring him in. I offered any and all dates on him in the Trade Deals thread but no one was interested.
  10. The Road Warriors teaming with Vinnie Valentino is...something else. Pretty strong debut for Eddie Mansfield, I suppose he's going to get himself involved with The Minnesota Heartbreakers. Only fitting with his Continental Lover gimmick. Those Wild Bills sure don't mind getting themselves DQ'd. Whoa! Big surprise angle there in that 6 man tag, really didn't see that one coming. The Chain match main event sounds awesome, would have loved to see that one in real life.
  11. I thought I read that Snuka was considering a plea deal that quickly put him in jail solely because he didn't have the money to fight his stomach cancer and that if he was a prisoner then treatment would be provided for him. I guess that wasn't true.
  12. And since I'm already being labeled as argumentative when I made like 2 contrary statements in this whole thread 1. That I think new writers should be allowed to come in and take over dead territories 2. I don't think you should have any say what happens to your promotion if you decide to drop it, let me just go ahead and give my real opinion on this whole issue at hand. I think the whole premise of this thread has been disingenuous from the start. This was much less about trying to figure out who was still in and way more about trying to rid of a few promotions to bolster certain people's rosters. Why in the world was WWA even brought up in this discussion when JHawk is current and up to date in his thread? Just because someone doesn't post for a few weeks doesn't mean you're suddenly entitled to their talent. No one should be kicked out of this game without first saying that they're finished,. We've already seen people get behind and get caught up peachchaos and Jesse being two examples. Dylan_Waco, dedhemingway, dkookypunk43, KrisZ and RocketCrypt all made announcements that they were finished, they didn't just disappear and never make a post saying they were done. I don't see any need to rush a guy like Flyin' Brian out of the game when he sent a PM to at least 2 people talking about how crazy his September work schedule was. If someone doesn't answer your PM about a talent trade for a few weeks, work around it. I didn't get a response back from Jesse about something so I figured out a different route to take. I didn't start wishing he'd get bumped out of the game so I could take his guys in a draft. It would be nice if everyone was able to maintain the same level of activeness but it's not realistic. Everyone on here has different jobs, different work schedules, different family obligations. It would be nice if they were still able to make trade deals without time to post their shows like El Boricua did but that doesn't mean they HAVE TO.
  13. You run the NWA not this game if I want to comment on anything in this game, I will do so. Put me on ignore if my posts bother you so much.
  14. What is the joke in getting people to follow rovert?
  15. You and Low Blow are not going to frighten me into not voicing my opinion. Sorry. The board has an ignore feature. If my posts bother you that much then use it.
  16. What are you so touchy about anyway you're gonna quit the project so why should you even care? You shouldn't have a say in what happens to your promotion after your gone, Montreal is in line to takeover WWF so it should be their call whether to allow that or not.
  17. I never said WRESTLERS wouldn't want to work in MSG I said it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for a guy who owns his own promotion to send a bunch of his guys to work in New York at the expense of his very own promotion that he's the owner of.
  18. I have no idea what this even means but if you want to take a shot don't veil it.
  19. They went up there because Vince Sr. called them and asked them to come and the money was better. I doubt it had very much to do with exposure especially since Dusty was well established in the Apter mags before he ever wrestled in MSG.
  20. I think I might have liked this more than you did. I thought this was more than a solid job by Dr. Tom and would use this as an example of how good he was if I was someone trying to make a case for him in the GWE poll. Basic match but they kept things interesting, kept it moving and got the crowd more and more involved as time went on.
  21. Your idea of realistic isn't the same as mine because it would also mean Watts was leaving his own territory bare of talent to bolster WWF when he's still the owner of Mid-South. Your whole "exposure~!" idea is also silly because why should a promoter in the South care about getting his guys New York exposure. You're not even on cable.
  22. Trying to get caught up on the last week or so worth of uploads and thought the Mark Reagan vs. Tom Prichard match was really impressive. Pretty basic match but it's one hell of a job by Dr. Tom of leading a guy who was really green through a 15 minute time limit match and making him look better than he was while doing it.
  23. Huh? I don't think that the goal of GFW is really to compete with WWE and as far as I can tell Jeff isn't even wrestling on any of their cards.
  24. Southwest drops T.G. Stone and picks up Tony Torres Here is a picture of the handsome man with many tattoos so people can consider picking him up:
  25. I'm really glad you asked me about Bill Ash, it gives me something new for Welch to do and let me move on from the Eddy Mansfield feud without running it into the ground. The Welch/Fuller/Golden family feud saga is far from over that I can assure you.
