I think people are really over stating how much "bad PR" this is going to bring to WWE. Nobody outside the wrestling bubble is going to talk about this. It's going to be the big topic of discussion on twitter/reddit/NEWZ sites for a week or two and then go away except for the reoccurring dumb jokes like what still happens with Rollins from time to time. This isn't going to get talked about on any kind of TV news show.

I liked this a lot better than when I watched it on the Mid-South set and said it was the worst match on the set. There is some really great stuff in this match, with Reed just kicking Slater's ass at the start and then Slater getting control and just destroying Reed's arm. The problem though is that once Reed starts his comeback he pretty much never sells the arm again and is able to do all his offense including a press slam with no problem. I still don't love the finish of what is essentially a DQ in a No DQ match but it does make a least some sense when we get the full post match with Tommy Gilbert saying that No DQ meant Slater & Reed could do whatever they wanted to each other but didn't include Slater attacking him.

The problem is that Bray's character is fucking dumb. Without a stable around him to hide his own deficiencies he has nothing. They should have taken this as an opportunity to humanize him and stop the stupid "supernatural" shit but seems like they've gone the other way with it.

Are you actually watching the shows or just reading some Scott Keith style "I hate everything" reviews and commenting on the shows off of that? Because they've done a pretty good job of stating the Orton joined The Wyatts because he couldn't beat them on his own, took them down from the inside by splitting up Harper & Bray, then fake gave up the title shot as the last bit of gaining Bray's confidence to get the "keys to the kingdom" which allowed him to burn down the shack which was the "source" of whatever stupid powers Bray has that people pretend make him cool.

God damn this was good. I knew this would have some funny spots in it but it was a really good match on top of that. Cowboy Lang has been great in every match I've ever seen him in, he's kind of a lost worker of the 80s as no one ever talks about him but he's AWESOME. Mansfield was great at being a bumbling fool in the early going and then being a complete dick trying to get his revenge later on. Not in the top top tier of matches on NWAOnDemand but one of my favorites.

Bayley seems to suffer more than any other wrestler in WWE right now of not being able to improvise if a pre-planned spot isn't going to work out. She did that thing in her last PPV match with Charlotte where she clearly saw Charlotte was out of position for whatever she was climbing the top rope to do but still got up there anyway and then had to climb down to move her in the right spot.

I know people have said Jeff Hardy won't be allowed in Japan due to a previous drug conviction but if Baba was able to pull strings to get them to let Dr Death come back to work for All Japan, I gotta think New Japan could probably pull some strings.

Here you are talking about height. I have no issues with that, nor does anybody else. Talk about height all you want. See how you can have a discussion without any body shaming there. It's not that hard. I also said he's 100 pounds lighter and that's just as important as the height difference. It DOES matter. Zack Sabre Jr's deal of dominating people with technical wrestling doesn't work if the guy he's wrestling is a lot heavier and looks strong enough to just force his way out of holds.

Size isn't important in the UFC because they have weight classes that will keep ridiculous size disparities from happening unlike wrestling where every time I see people say Finn Balor needs to wrestle The Undertaker at Mania I just roll my eyes because he's 100 lbs lighter and a foot shorter and it would look ridiculous.

I didn't really love this match but the finish was fucking AWESOME! Buzz trying to use the dog collar and it backfiring on him when Duggan yanked it to pull Buzz into the big Coal Miner's Glove punch was about as perfect of a wrestling finish as you can get.

Stuff like "Bruce in the GWF" and "Houston Wrestling" always losing polls to the worst possible WWF topics is just another example of that weird ass ultra smark wreddit phenomenon where WWF/E is the worst run wrestling promotion ever and sucks but I don't want to watch/read/hear about anything else.
