  1. AEW can coast for a long time pulling such strong numbers in 18-49 plus they are hanging around in the top 5. There are things to be optimistic about with them vs. NXT. And things like the Rick and Morty announcement shows they have a good idea on the type of people they are catering to.
  2. Shit just got real:
  3. What I really loved about that brawl is that everyone that came out to stand with Cody were guys that were in his video package the week before. I love the little details that they pay attention to. It really feels like you get rewarded for paying attention.
  4. I completely missed JR voicing his concern for the Dippin Dots the first time I watched the brawl.
  5. I am really disappointed in AEW right now. You have Cody out there attacking paying fans that just want to eat popcorn and be sports entertained.
  6. The Jericho stuff is just gold week after week.
  7. I liked Smash Brothers but they need to kill this fucking Dark Order gimmick with fire.
  8. We have a special guest this week. We're talking action figures, mostly wrestling, and what being a collector is like.
  9. I would put Omega/Tanahashi against anything Rollins has ever done and say it is way better. And I wouldn't even say that was his best New Japan match.

    Is WWE redeemable?

I've noticed specifically in there the first two weeks with NXT/AEW that AEW would have like 8 times the comments in the threads but there would be gifs and stuff for every little thing that happened on NXT vs. AEW. But even if it was getting that way, WWE has been brutally bad the last year. I'm on a podcast and we just stopped talking about WWE for the most part after Mania because it became almost impossible to be positive about it and we don't like mindlessly bashing things.
  11. I would take Jinder's reign over Rollins.
  12. It wouldn't surprise me. I believe a couple of months ago Toni Storm had worked more matches for Stardom than she had for NXT UK.

  15. They are incapable of resolving anything.
  16. I'm willing to listen to offers on the Poffos.
  17. I believe WWE's plans were "oh, we'll figure it out later."
  18. Great Lakes drops out of the draft.
  19. And on top of that, NXT is going to have to slow down at some point and try to be an actual TV show. They have burned months worth of match ups for nothing.

    Is WWE redeemable?

I think they could get away with 4 hours across 2 or 3 shows. At the minimum they have to get an hour cut off of Raw and chop an hour off of NXT.

    Is WWE redeemable?

I always thought NXT would get treated like a B show. And the ratings are kind of reflecting that. I think Gargano/Ciampa ruined NXT ultimately. They have been chasing their first match ever since and destroyed the promotion in the process.
  22. Great Lakes selects Rikishi.
  23. I think you can blame them for spending the last 5 years chasing everyone away.
  24. If you take TruTv out they essentially did the same number on TNT. What I found interesting is more women 18-49 were watching AEW than 18-49 men watching NXT. But NXT is just a massive failure on TV so far.

    Is WWE redeemable?

Ouch, NXT's rating are brutal. It's going to be interesting to see how long it can continue losing viewers like this before they make it more like the main roster.
