I was dreading this match going into it. I hated their match from Wrestle Kingdom last year. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It didn't feel like 30 minutes which was a big plus. I liked the sudden shift from the slow paced match to the frantic trying to put each other away. Nowhere on the level of Omega/Tanahashi but it was a good match.

Tanahashi was fighting an epic battle to keep his ass in his pants during that match. I'm not a Jay White fan. He's at least better in ring this year but I just find him to be bland as fuck. I'm hoping this is so Okada can slay the dragon at Dominion or have a title change at MSG.

Yeah, you're right. I forgot they're buddies. -

Shayna would get fired for it, they wouldn't do anything to Ronda. That's just my take. I forgot to mention, if she had hurt Randy Orton instead of Truth she would have gotten punished. -

Oh and don't forget she did a real shitty job of protecting Lana when she attacked her as well. -

She would still be in NXT and probably would've gotten released in one of those spring cleanings if she wasn't considered wrestling royalty. -

I'm sure this one will be "you're only mad because she's a woman and plus size." -

Probably until she injures Ronda. -

Nia being bad at her job. I am shocked! -
1990 is a super underrated gem. The Hogan/Warrior show down is epic, the way they eliminated Earthquake is really novel and great for the time. I also like the end to the 1993 Rumble as everyone else fucked up and waited too long to try and gang up on Yokozuna and then you get Savage making a valiant but ultimately futile attempt to try and survive one on one with him.

Does it even really matter what they do at this point? It's essentially a zombie promotion.

You can't hold a bad match against Bobby Roode against him. His match with Black at Takeover was really good in 2017. -

Yeah, there were a few points where they were getting ready to do something with him and then he got hurt. He kind of falls into that Revival camp where I can kind of see why they didn't trust them to stay healthy. It was also obvious that Kenta wasn't the same when he came back last year. -
I originally had that instead of Asuka/Becky but that was essentially to the women's Rumble so I went with it instead.

You can't really judge those in terms of drawing now. Wrestlemania, Rumble and Summerslam sell on their names alone. They typically draw shit for their live shows minus those 3. -

It did better than 18 and 19. I did a quick glance at the numbers and they don't seem to effect buyrates one way or the other. Though 4 corners matches seem to have a positive impact on shows from a very brief glance. -
There was just too much shit on this show. If I was booking this show this is what I would have done: 1. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch 2. Men's Rumble 3. Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks 4. Brock Lesnar vs. Finn Balor 5. Women's Rumble

Her body punches are good. Them having her throw punches in general is dumb as her lack of boxing skills is what ended her MMA career.
-
I'm sure she's a nice person. Accounting might just be a better career goal. Though I think she's pushing 40.

Tamina is a danger to everyone and has no business in a wrestling ring. She's also been a wrestler for like a decade.
-
I advocate a lot for Finn because he's over. I went to a live show after Christmas and he was the most over guy on Raw. He has some it factor that people like. Rollins is over because he's constantly pushed. It's kind of the Randy Orton syndrome where you could probably shift some of that effort into a guy like Finn Balor and see greater rewards. The other positive is there's a story there. Finn gave it everything he had and Lesnar got the win, well now he has the Demon to deal with. It's why the Demon exists. You could even have Lesnar come out and laugh it off kind of nervously at first and then go from there.
-
I have to take issue with your post there. You forgot the part where Rollins injures his knee every single fucking match.

I wish they would move away from the three man booths. It just doesn't work. You need the third person to be a specialist like Mike Tenay back in the day. The Raw team in particular is terrible as Renee Young is just fucking useless. -
That's been an RoH staple from day one. It isn't RoH if there isn't at least 3 stables where the members couldn't tell you why they exist as a group.

They also really need to shorten these shows. 5-6 hours is just too long to expect an audience to stay invested and captivated. I also think two Rumbles is overkill. This kind of show with two Rumbles maybe should have 3 matches outside of that. It's just crazy that they think they can run until midnight on a Sunday. The length is also not casual friendly at all. No one who isn't hardcore into the product is going to want to invest 6 pm to midnight on a Sunday.
