So, I'm not really a deathmatch guy but I kind of want to watch more Game Changer Wrestling after this year's Mania Weekend. They just seem to put so much more thought and creativity into their shows. Any recommendations to start with?
That's an annual event for me and then I either hit a big event where it takes a month for the TV to reflect the results or I give up after suffering through a couple of lazy episodes at the end of a taping.
I liked how they circumvented the usually stupidity of ladder matches with the leg injury to Touchdown and Dasher being more interested in inflicting pain. The end spot was absolutely brutal as well. Where that match really shined is my wife watched it and had no idea of the storyline but came out of it wanting to see more of their feud. She actually came out of that as a big Dasher fan.
Filsinger has the simplest rules but packs the most flexibility as far as actually getting the matches down. Tag team wrestling is a landmine that tons of games get wrong or have pre-made teams. Face to the Mat is an interesting universe simulator but it doesn't have the sheer amount of content that Filsinger does. You really can't beat the lore of Champions of the Galaxy when it comes to made up rosters.
It worked okay with Sara Del Rey in Chikara back in the day. But she's built like a tank and a lot of their roster is smaller. It hasn't worked as well for them since.
I have both Joey Janela Spring Breaks ordered. I also ordered Bloodsport the second Barnett vs. Suzuki got announced.
Also looking forward to the Swoggle matches announced, USA vs. The World and Kaiju Big Battle vs. DDT.
It's almost like sabotaging guys when they get hot because it might interfere with the push of your chosen one could potentially bite you in the ass down the road.
You know, you catch her at certain angles and she's a dead ringer for Tully. She's a great worker but she does nothing for me looks wise because of how close she resembles her dad at times.
