Hey all, Outside the 1987 King Of the Ring (which I don't think was televised…) did Savage ever face Bundy in the ring that was taped and available? Was talking with some friends today and we would love to have seen it..

Does anyone know if the new Best Of Great American Bash DVD / Blu-Ray that comes next week has all complete matches? Specifically the Flair / Nikita (85) and Andersons / RNR (86) Never seen either in full as they are both clipped up on the 85 and 86 Bash tapes....kind of a holy grail for me with Flair / Nikita in full.

I have almost all of the originals if anyone still needs them or cant find them... Where is Lewin Part 1?

I get what you are saying, but they could use this to his advantage, to draw everyone in and then do something horrible that turns everyone against him... I am just stuck because as much as I agree with you from your reasons, which to me would fit ANY other face, his character fits this act PERFECTLY...he doesnt care if someone agrees or not right now, he is preaching his message and the more that like it and agree with it, the more powerful he gets....Jim Jones-esque (without the Kool-Aid and death of course...) so that is why its hard for me to say one is better than the other in this case.... A face turn is bad because they'd have to switch his act up, which would completey undermine what his character has been until now. If they kept this act as is and turned him face, that gets into a weird "cult leaders are great" kind of thing (if that makes sense), and I dont know if stock holders and others would ike a cult leader being portayed as a good guy to get behind. The crowd can get behind him now all they want, but to forceably say "he is a great guy now" would unfortunately be bad when they are public...I HATE that that is even a thought, but the reality is what it is and people in today's era wont take huge chances with things that people can jump on as bad....I think I am blowing this out of proportion but the thought of it is what makes me think its a BAD idea to make him face as there is no win with it... If they chang him up to a good guy and drop his "cult" thing, it will dull him and he'll fade quickly as a face (to me anyway).

Very true Loss, but I also think that again it fits his character as a "cult" type leader trying to bring everyone under his area of influence and herd the "sheep" together...making him a face, to me, will completely destroy that and Harper and Rowan's kind of horror movie crazy bastards thing into two big dudes with dirty clothes and a sheeps mask that little kids could end up buying at merchandise....no thanks...

Holy shit yes....The 4 ads for Bash '86 / Bash '87 / Starrcade '86 / Starrcade '87 were fuckin great...could watch them all the time....with Flair knocking on the screen.... Also, I cant get over that so much music changed on newer releases and that hurts things for me...plus, the cases are so damn cool.. some of my favorites: 1. Bash '86 Tape with Dusty covering Flair (and the extra sticker if your tape had Flair vs. Hawk added) 2. Bash '87 Tape with those terrible drawings of everyone in War Games One other thing (I realize I am in the minority here, but fuck it, who cares) - CLAMSHELL cases....Love that shit and still do....those cases were so damn cool when I was a kid... I also agree with seeing what else was the on the tape...once after some WCCW shows I got ended, it cut to a Spanish Version of Dusty and Tully for the National Title in '86 on TV

Really? One piledriver and one step shot and Cena is out? That was fuckin dumb after all the wars Cena has been in for that to take him out...should have done something else to him...Kane has tombstoned him a million times and Cena comes back and kicks his ass...SO I didn't like that...should have had maybe one other hard shot from something.. Ambrose is a HUGE star in the making, Reigns to...Rollins will serve his purpose and then fall to mid-card I'd guess down the line... Man, the WWE has a LOT of talent right now with a LOT to do with it.... Summerslam is looking to be a GREAT show with the builds starting..

Hopefully that Wyatt attack on Y2J should calm down the face stuff... He may be playing up to the crowd, but it fits his "cult" character to turn everyone to worship him....still as a heel..

I have been thinking about this all day today and still cannot come up with what good turning Bray Wyatt completely face would do...it woudl take away what makes him special...so how could you do it and keep his aura going? If he becomes face and a "sheep", his whole personality is gone... Anyone know how he could be as good as a face?

YES...exactly.....that is and was the right thing to do... Ambrose getting the win eventually will be a huge deal....and much bigger than a one night pop that destroys weeks of possible build... If Austin won the WWF Title in May of 97 when he was RED HOT, it would not have the same energy as continuing to build him to a much bigger crescendo...
