  1. I enjoyed the 1st 5-8 minutes of this. I enjoyed Mil putting Hito in holds. Though the longer it went the less interested I got which is never good. I did like to see Mil get his dander up and see those nasty looking side mounted punches. Still not enough. 1 3/4*
  2. No. He has nothing to do with the G1.
  3. I finished watching the 1 st 4 matches and were entertaining in their own right . So the show gets a thumbs ui
  4. Tanahashi vs Naito Naito looks like he's back to tassles on his boots. Naito with a nasty neck breaker on a table. Naito follows up with a cravat. I'm liking this match, but their is a lot of things going on. Naito using a Liger Koppo Kick I'm pretty sure was treated as disrespecting Liger. I liked how Tanahashi kept going back to the leg. That was a finish. I thought both guys looked good. Naito seems to be putting it together. 3 3/4*
  5. AJ Styles vs Ibushi I'm digging the arm lock exchanges. Ibushi early having AJ's number is a good counterpoint to AJ having Ibushi's number earlier. Loved the Urange onto the rail. Followed with a nasty back breaker into a chin lock with his knee in Ibushi's back. AJ really is great at working the crowd. Ibushi working over AJ's core was done really well. AJ's digit manipulation to get a counter was great. The rana off the apron was scary.Loved AJ's block of the Super rana. Then the follow sequence was great. Ganzo bomb ruled. Ibushi's counter of the 450. Dueling Pele' kicks. Bloody Sunday for a nearfall. Styles with the Barry Windham glassy eye sell. Pretty sweet match. 4 1/4*
  6. Shibata vs Makabe We start off with a fight. Shibata hooks on a Figure 4. A rope break. Both guys crossing each other up. Loving Shibata's boot scrapes and utter domination in the corner. We see a forearm exchange. Crowd seemed more happy about the match than I was. 2 3/4*
  7. Night 5 Gallows vs Fale An ok match. Not my cup of tea. 2* Tenzan vs Yano Wow Yano is busted open. Is Tenzan too? Pretty crappy match. 1 1/2*
  8. I'll add that date when I get home. Thanks.
  9. I watched that match sometime last year and found it boring.
  10. New match added to the list.
  11. Added the date for the females.
  12. Goto vs Anderson Anderson working gritty is nice. Another match that had parts I like.
  13. 8 Elgin vs Kojima I kind of like this dynamic of 2 tough guys beating on each other. 2 3/4
  14. Ishii vs Takanashi Day 4 is upon us. Takanashi is in full chicken shit heel mode. He's on his bike, picking his spots to attack. Takanhasi and Ishii are having a smart bout. Ishii's work underneath has been good. 2 3/4*
  15. I enjoyed Tenzan vs Tanahashi. They told a basic story. I really got into Tenzans near submissions. The finish was pretty basic. 3 1/2*
  16. Shibata vs Naito Loved Shibata punting Naito. Nice Naito got my notes about heels and tassles on his boots.Everything Shibata does looks deadly. Loved Shibata's counter of Naito's token corner spot. That knee lock by Naito looks nasty. I enjoyed this a good deal. It was real fun. 3 1/2*
  17. AJ Styles vs Yano AJ doing a Hulkster pose was bad timing. This was a strong Styles performance. It's kinda fun watching Styles incorporating his stuff with Yano's schtick. This was entertaing. The way Styles worked the crowd was impressive, and it's stuff like that would have benefited the draw in ROH 3*
  18. Fale vs Makabe Fale goes for a nerve hold 3 minutes in.They are throwing elbows like they're in water. Not very good. 1 1/2*
  19. Ibushi vs Gallows This was fun. They told a basic story of the big man vs little man. Gallows kicked Ibushi's ass. Ibushi sold. We had some fun hope spots. Ibushi timed his comebacks well. Ibushi sells an ass kicking better than his limb selling. Some of Ibushi rope running looked weak. 3*
  20. Paul this really sums up my thoughts on the match. It was flawed, had plenty of issues. As a booking decision though it was gutsy, not safe, and well spot on and allowed to me to overlook the warts.
  21. Same here Dylan. The 35 minute mark I'm like they're going an hour. Bravo to them. NXT you want to come to Texas and ruin the shows Will and I are going to. Bam ROH might book a match to go 60 without stupid Iron man stips. This is ROH where we wrestle.
  22. Lethal vs Strong These guys had a good match earlier this year on tv. Strong's had an incredible year. Lethal's work on top has been much more agressive than usual. He's taking his time and everything is really resonating. Roddy selling the leg and Lethal really going after it. Big chop exchange on the floor. Roddy with a slingshot suplex and really goes after the back. Roddy still selling the knee with a shakeout. Lethal not going after the leg is puzzling. As the match keeps on going, Lethal's work on top begins to slip. Gotta give Roddy credit for selling that crappy chinlock. Strong counters into his own. Letal's bumb into the barricade was sick. Love how Strong countered Lethal's dive. Strong does his own to take out the jabronies. Man I think they're going 60. These guys are working hard, but they're shot here. They're just not smart enough to build the drama without the athletic moves. This match is the perfect example of what's more important working smart or having athleticism. Both guys have spots that are over. They were able to let them carry them down the stretch. This is worked much different than a Bock, or Flair draw. Though I'll give these guys credit, I'll give ROH credit for booking it. Loss on twitter you asked what ROH could do to seperate themselves. Well this. 4 *
  23. I liked their matches with the Briscoes.
  24. 4 Corner Survival Tag Addiction/reDragon/War Machine/Kingdom Rowe Samoa drops Kazarian/O'Reilly all by himself. War Machine is kicking ass. Their's a lot going on. Fish looks to be FIP, Rowe is a hot tag. Rowe is a great hot tag. It's breaking down. Big time dive sequence. Too many nearfalls to keep track of. This was good. They took their time set a base of the match. Then kicked it into high gear. 3 1/2*
  25. ACH vs Adam Page NO DQ ACH is agressive to start. ACH having a nice shine to start, Page catches ACH doing that stupid run around the ring spot. Nice chair spot by ACH. Page with a belly to back suplex onto the ladder. The guys have used the stips. Sick finish. 2 3/4*
