  1. Ric Flair vs Magnum TA 6/28/85 We are JIP about 6 minutes in. This is Flair touring champ match. I enjoyed Flair's arm work in this. I liked how Flair used TA's momentum to toss him to the outside to set up his heat. The finish was sloppy in the sense that it was reversed.. I loved the post match with Wahoo kicking ass. 4*
  2. Ok I bolded matches that I think aren't in circulation. If I'm wrong let me know. If I missed a match let me know. This will be a big resource.
  3. That's a great idea Phil. I'll work on that. If I make a mistake or miss something someone just let me know.
  4. Yes please
  5. Flair vs TA is up. It's JIP, but we have 26 minutes of footage.
  6. I'll be home in a bit and I'll pin it.
  7. Goc put a promo section and I'll pin it.
  8. Well at that point the NWA was falling apart. It was a way to protect his champion from a double cross. This is just speculation , plus Magnum was hot off of WTBS. So they'd farm a match out instead of just the champ.
  9. NWA Classics is what I thought I'd be getting from the Network.
  10. Then Parv you should watch their 30 minute draw from Portland as well.
  11. On twitter Bruce is uploading matches tonight. He's uploading a Flair vs TA one from Houston. I think this might be a new match .
  12. Rock N Roll Express vs Dibiase/Doc 5/3/85 They work over Morton to start. They turn the tide and work over Doc's arm momentarily. The heels turn the tide and begin to work over Gibson. Rn running wild with drop kicks and punches. Rock N Roll back on the arm. Morton runs into Doc. Dibiase delivers a backbreaker Morton shows some fire and attempts a slam, but his back gives out. The heels go back to it. Ted misses a charge. Morton hot tag. We got a couple of visual pins. Gibson has Doc covered. Dibiase loads the glove and KO's Gibson for the 3. We get a great promo afterwards. 3 3/4*
  13. Are you kidding me? Goc If I had to guess I'm at an elite level on this board of watching 80's territory wrestling. No I've seen it tons. I love the match. Last time I think I gave it 4 1/2*
  14. Loser Leaves Town Tuxedo Street Fight Coal Miners Glove Steel Cage Match: Hacksaw Duggan d. Ted DiBiase 3/22/85 This match is the most famous one in the History of Houston, and maybe in Mid-South. I like that we have no commentating. The crowd is about as hot as I've ever heard. This is an epic brawl. Duggan is busted open minutes into this big time. Dibiase just works that cut over with punches and precision like fist drops. When Duggan makes his comebacks the place becomes unglued. Duggan gets the glove. Dibiase puts powder in his eyes so he can get the glove from him. Dibiase misses a fist drop and hurts his hand. Duggan begins fucking up the hand. Duggan gets the glove and KO's Ted for the pin. A super epic match. 5*
  15. Looks like 8 new matches have been uploaded.
  16. Funks vs Lothario/Mascaras 1/7/79 I enjoyed this bout. The 1 st fall wasn't much. Though we see Dory look really aggressive throwing some nasty European Forearms that woke the crowd up. Other than that it was basic tag team wrestling with the faces controlling the action. They'd tag in and out. They cut the ring in 1/2. We'd see blocking. In the end the Funks would steal a fall. The 2nd fall the Funks get heat on Lothario was really well done. When Lothario made his comeback the Funks gave everything back and pinballed their asses off for Lothario's punches and Russian leg sweep. The 2nd fall was really great. The 3rd fall was fun as well. The punches between Jose and Terry were tremendous. We see Mil shine by incorporating his highspots. Plus the finish was good stuff. I enjoyed this match. 3* Like This http://placetobenation.com/titans-of-wrestling/

  18. Mascara Dorada, Captain New Japan, Manabu Nakanishi vs Satoshi Kojima, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, KUSHIDA Dorada has quite the load on his side to carry. I loved the opening of Kushida and Dorada. It looks like Kojima and Tenzan brought their A game. Both guys tried their best to make Nakanishi and CNJ llok credible. Kushida got the hot tag. The double arm breaker was sweet. The crowd seems really into this and as a result the match has a real fun feel to it. This far eclipsed my expectations. 2 3/4* Tetsuya Naito & Yuji Nagata vs Yujiro Takahashi & Cody Hall This is more about the development of Naito. The heels are terrible and Nagata is solid, but he's going to have to carry this which will be an uphill battle. I wouldn't be surprised that we won't get a Hall singles match till 2016. Nagata and Hall work well against each, Hall smoked Yujiro in the ring. 1 1/2* YOSHI-HASHI, Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tomoaki Honma, Togi Makabe This is the typical 6 mans. The foes pair off. We get some brawling around the ring. I'm all in on the Honma FIP. The match dragged in spots. 2 3/4* Hirooki Goto & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Kazuchika Okada Same formula. Pairing off, brawling on the outside. Okada working over Taguchi. Nakamura takes his turn. Now Okada's turn again. They're focusing on the neck. The work here is ok. Both Oklada and Nak get some time with Goto. We build to the finish which was well done. The teases with Goto prior was real strong. 3*
  19. Steve Williams vs Hector Guerrero 10/11/85 I liked this. It was a fun bout. Hector working the arm early. Keeping Doc at Bay. Eventually Doc's superior strength is too much. Doc's work on top with high impact moves are well done, Between moves he'd just lean on him. Interesting stuff. 3 1/4*
  20. Yohei Komatsu vs Sho Tanaka This is a great opener. These guys really do think of one. All of their stuff looks good, and worked at a good pace. They get a lot of mileage out of basic stuff. From just arm wringer reversals to the Boston Crab and 1/2 crabs. 3 1/4* Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask vs Jay White & David Finlay Liger is great right off the bat working the mat. Tiger gets a little shine, but eventually subcumbs . The Lions do a good job working over his leg. The dojo time has helped Finlay. Hot tag to Liger. Liger has so much offense that is over, that his hot tag gets over very easily. He gets cut off so he tags out to Tiger. I really enjoyed how the finish was played out here. 3* I'll finish this later.
  21. Bruce tweeted that their Roku app is completed. They are just test running it now before it becomes public.
