Also Sleaze your argument is misleading. Did Bret job for SCSA ? No, he was fired before he had the chance. Another established star did in Shawn Michaels. The Hogan job to Bret was 4 years too late. Flair though did the honors for him in 92 and he was eventually viewed as a main eventer. The whole thing with the Rock is completely different animal. Yes the Rock was positioned well.Austin was out with an injury, Though he did feud with Mick Foley who was established by being positioned as a big star since 96 with big matches, wins or feuds with the likes of HBK,Undertaker, and Austin. Sleaze their are always exceptions to the rules, though the majority of the time their is a passing of the torch from strong mid carder to main eventer. If this was an actual debate we would data dump with examples of established talent jobbing to younger talent throughout the years, and Johnny would have a handful of exceptions to the rule. Yes Sleaze you need your new talent to have good characters, and be presented well. The final element is to have a passing of the torch moment. It helps in establishing them.

I got a tweet today on @titansowrestin telling Johnny he can't believe he does the Reaction Show with 4 guys who don't know how wrestling works.

Shoe should've kidnapped him and taped hours of interview (at gunpoint, if necessary) until found by police..... Great idea. I'm just not that crazy.

It's the weirdest thing . Johnny on Titans seems to make sense a lot of the time. On the reaction show's I don't agree with him often.

I thought the match ok. It started gaining momentum and turned into a good match. A strong finish.
-
I bet it's Bray.
-
What a piss poor finish.
-
A solid body of a match with another rollup variation on a finish.
-
That was pretty drawn out, Easily could have been in done in a lot less time.
-
That was a good action packed match.

We found someone who cuts a worse promo than Rollins in John Stewart.
-
That was terrible.

Parv never listen to JBL.

It was a solid opener with a good story. Again why did Show have to lead to the win. Then we're shown Randy Orton> than Ryback,Ziggler, and Rowan.

It looks like a good card up and down it. Their should be a minimum of at least 4 3* matches or better with potential of at least 6. Cena/Rusev has potential to tear the house down. They are 2 of the better guys on the roster who emphasis selling. I think the tag title match has the potential to be a show stealer. Still it all comes down to the booking.

I thought Harashima vs Ibushi was really good. The stage spots kept it from MOTYC level contender. Also Harashima's strikes were a little weak looking at times.I still liked it. I'd say 3 3/4* I liked Cesaro vs Sina Cara. I'd go 4*. My problem with the match is that Sin Cara isn't over and I never bought into the nearfalls. I loved the arm work mixed in with Cesaro's gritty working of holds.

You're welcome Parv. I hope my booking idea keeps you from getting fired.

Sounds good.

With Superstar Billy Graham being over. I'm surprised you didn't shoot an angle off his talk show to make him a babyface alligned with Bruno to play off their past history. Especially against young heels in Savage and Teddy.

PWO-PTBN Roundtable - The 100 Best Matches to See Before You Die
shoe replied to Grimmas's topic in Publications and Podcasts
You maybe should do a sixth part talking about matches on the WWE Network that should have been included on the list that weren't chosen. Just an idea. We sorta incorporated it into the show. We each picked a handful of matches. -
Look at Starcade 85 and 86 as an example. The sheer amount of titles is overkill. When you have Darsow vs Houston for the MA title open a show you have too many belts.
-
Quality of work is a criteria too.
-
You are on.

Since Valentine was talked so greatly on this show. I want to point out Parv is still ducking my Valentine vs Ted Dibiase debate.

He's a guy who could do the AJ Styles thing and work indies,ROH, help freshen up NJPW.
