  1. (1) Sho Tanaka & Yohei Komatsu vs. Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish This was solid. I was expecting more. Tanaka was selling his leg like death, but we didn't see Red Dragon really go after it. 2 1/2* 2) Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima, Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask IV vs. Manabu Nakanishi, Captain New Japan, Mascara Dorada & Jay White This was fun. My favorite parts were Liger's comedy spots and Dorada's flying. 2 1/4* (3) Ryusuke Taguchi, KUSHIDA & Alex Shelley vs. Kenny Omega, Matt & Nick Jackson I thought this was a blast. It really picked up and had a heck of a finishing run. I'm not sure if the chainsaw is a comedy spot or a spin on a traditional heel spot which isn't good.I thought the Bucks and Omega played their role well because I wanted to cream them. 3 1/4* (4) Tetsuya Naito & Tomoaki Honma vs. Toru Yano & Kazushi Sakuraba I thought nthis match had its moments and everybody got their chance to shine even Yano. Honma and Sakuraba had a great pairing on the mat. As did Naito and Sakuraba. Fun stuff. 2 1/2* (5) Kazuchika Okada & Yoshi-Hashi vs. Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga I really hate Fale. They tried to get heat, but the work was so bland. I want the singles feud with Okada to get started so it will be a thing of the past. We'll see if okada can pull matches out of him like Nakamura did, 1 1/2* (6) Yuji Nagata & Togi Makabe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Tomohiro Ishii Felt like a tale of 2 matches. I thought Nakamura and Nagata were great in it with one another. Though it didn't tell a tag story. Ishii and Makabe came across as after thought compared to Nakamura/Nagata 2 3/4* (7) Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata vs. Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows & Yujiro Takahashi I thought this was solid. It really should have been better tough. 2 1/2*
  2. Their is a big drop of clips, shows, bios for Black History Month.
  3. For Black history month they're doing an episode of Mid-South with JYD, and a show with from Global with The Ebony Experience.
  4. I watched the tag that was linked. For the most part you guys were pretty good. I kinda echo what Dylan said. . Eric I really enjoyed some of the reasoning you did on why the wrestlers were doing certain things. Tim I thought you brought a ton of excitement to the matches. With that said It feels like your excitement should build during the match which I'm sure comes with experience and maybe knowing the talent better. . As a team you guys need to find a balance with one another which with some minor adjustments you will. Congrats on a good start.
  5. For me I prefer watching stuff in the past. I'm not saying everything in the past is great that'd be a lie. I generally like the presentation of wrestling in the 80's. I like how the audience got caught up in the emotion of the moment. I feel what we are getting nowadays is akin to frozen pizza. So to me the advantage of watching old footage is looking at how many different ways it can be booked,promoted,and/or presented.
  6. (1) Alex Shelley vs. Jay White This was a fine opener. White was green , but showed promise. I liked his headlock work and he was fun cranking it. Thought Shelly could have fought more underneath. White did telegraph what he was going to do on some transitions. 2 1/2* (2) Yohei Komatsu vs. Kyle O’Reilly This was another good match. I hope to see both guys in the IWGP jr.ranks. O'Reilly was great at targeting the back. Then transitioning into some nifty arm work. Komatsu's comeback seemed in organic. Though I liked his strikes and slick submission work. He's a blue chipper. 2 3/4 * (3) KUSHIDA & Mascara Dorada vs. Matt & Nick Jackson This is really hot to start. The Bucks are really a good heel team. Their personality is so obnoxious.I enjoyed this. This match had a lot of hot moves and a solid tag team structure. 2 3/4 * (4) Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Manabu Nakanishi, Captain New Japan & Tiger Mask IV I enjoyed Liger's work here. He wasn't good enough to carry everything though. 2 1/4* (5) Yuji Nagata, Togi Makabe, Tetsuya Naito & Tomoaki Honma vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI This was real fun. I'm not a Yano guy but felt his schtick played well especiallyt off the different dynamics in the match. 3 1/4* (6) Kazuchika Okada & Gedo vs. Bad Luck Fale & Yujiro Takahashi 1 3/4* I thought this was pretty mediocre. I think their is no way Okada is going to be able to carry that pos Fale like Nakamura did. (7) Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hirooki Goto, Katsuyori Shibata & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Tama Tonga & Kenny Omega This was just there. I was expecting more.2 *
  7. I have no idea if this is the direction. If they book Bryan and Rollins at Fastlane , and book Orton's return to save DB from a beatdown by Rollins/Mercury and Noble I might #cancel WWE Network.

I agree Will. Though one other thing is Bryan would have worked a heck of a lot harder than Reigns. One of the knocks on him in this match from SCSA to Jericho and us was that Reigns kinda sat around and did nothing. So it even excaserbated the issue. He didn't even seem like he should fight for it.
  9. Agreed. Also wondering what is taking them so long to go on their excursions. Both seem more than ready, but maybe they don't want too many guys out there at the same time and are waiting for Kamaitachi and/or Watanabe to return. Where is Watanabe right now? Last match was in September in the USA. Even when he returns, gonna be a bit until Komatsu and Tanaka pick up steam. Who would they gain pinfalls over right now ? Watanabe is booked in Texas for Feb. Against ACH.

They're in crisis mode booking. Which is nuts since they have no competitor.

To steal SCSA catchphrase WWE doesn't know to shit or wind their watch.

Normally Charles i'd agree with that logic. I think they used this show as a test run to see if Reigns is going to get booed. He did. The last memory of the show that they don't want is Reigns being booed.
  13. I got a chuckle out of it, but went cool.
  14. Greedy might be the wrong term. Though what happened in 2014's Rumble should have been fresh on their minds. Bryan never should have been announced for the Rumble if they wanted Reigns victory to be accepted. If Bryan wasn't there would it have worked....we'll never know. Announcing him for the Rumble was so they might capture more subscriptions.Know one knew he was healthy so they easily could have waited on a return. In their arrogance of not understanding the Daniel Bryan dynamic they booked him in the Rumble to maximize him as a draw. They didn't debut Orton because they didn't want his new babyface run to start with a loss, and in their arrogance and greed compromised the heir apparent. I understand that they don't view him as a top guy. Though they do want the money he does add to a card. So in that sense they're greedy. They wanted the best of both worlds. What DB brought to the Rumble, and their "creative" vision to lead Roman Reigns to the promised land. Vince should be going to church more often after getting that snow day to spin damage control.
  15. I enjoyed this. I thought it was fun. I just don't see it as a MOTYC.
  16. This was interesting. You really needed to put over that punch exchange though.
  17. On the face side the company has it in this order with a little variation. 1.Reigns 2.Cena 3.Orton 4.Bryan 5. Ambrose 6. Ziggler 7.Ryback That's not even including Sting or Taker. The company wants the good stuff that comes with DB like the subscriptions they got annoincing him for the Rumble. The WWE are so greedy. They want all the benefits that comes with booking him like subscriptions, but not the boos for their guy.
  18. I'll listen to this when I get home. Is Parv better than Rocky Raymond.
  19. They did couldn't capitalize spot. Nakamura's selling in this was off the charts. Between the physical pain, along with his facials it was amazing. It finished #23 in the VOW MOTY poll with two 1st place votes. One of the 1st place votes was mine. If you don't like that "type" of match that's cool. I'm a guy who puts a lot of value on limb work, selling, drama, and structure in his matches. This match checked those boxes for me.
  20. It is. Which is what made it so awesome was how amazing Nakamura sold the leg even after using it on offense.
  21. Johnny that's fine. That will finish his story with Kane on Smackdown. The question is do they push him as a top act. He also never got pinned by to lose his title. Are they going to go there? Will he be pinned by Reigns if he wins the title from Brock? I'm looking at a grand picture. Not how he's being booked in a week.
  22. Gotta throw the Brock Lesnar vs John Cena vs Seth Rollins 1/25 out there. I thought it was tremendous.
  23. Tanahashi vs Nakamura from Invasion Attack was my 2014 MOTY.
  24. We should know when they do the investors call in a few weeks.
  25. The getting the Rumble was a big thing. I think they had people stay on from November from the old WCW fans because of Sting. Sting got a lot of buzz on the streets around Texas. I think the return of Bryan brought fans back who got behind him and checked out when he got hurt. The company has been smart adding new content like Austin's pods with Vince and now HHH a week after ppv shows to keep their audience.I'll be more curious to see the numbers in May. Good for them to getting that number.
