[1991-02-02-WCW-Pro] Arn Anderson & Barry Windham vs Ricky Morton & Tommy Rich
shoe replied to Loss's topic in February 1991
Another solid tag. I thought the crowd was really crappy. I also thought the faces were in control too much of the match.- 13 replies

[1991-02-02-WCW-Power Hour] Arn Anderson vs Bobby Eaton
shoe replied to Loss's topic in February 1991
A solid match. Bobby working over Arn's arm was good, but the hammerlock got old. Finish was controversial to set up more rematches and I'm sure better bouts.- 10 replies

[1991-02-01-WWF-The Main Event] Sgt. Slaughter vs Jim Duggan
shoe replied to Loss's topic in February 1991
I think beating Duggan with nefarious means would have helped here. Instead Slaughter was on the run, and then used a chair for a DQ. I liked the Hogan beat down , but sold the damage like a transition pile driver spot .- 12 replies

[1991-01-30-WCW-Clash of the Champions XIV] Ric Flair vs Scott Steiner
shoe replied to Loss's topic in January 1991
One of the worst Flair matches that got time. Steiner didn't get to showcase his arsenal of moves. Flair keeps him on the mat. I thought Flair working Steiner's leg was the highlight of a boring match. I like the television time expired finish on occasion.- 14 replies

Man Dusty promo blew me away. It was so good it blew away all the exploitation pieces in the WWF with Hogan at the time.

[1991-01-26-WCW-Saturday Night] Arn Anderson & Barry Windham vignette
shoe replied to Loss's topic in January 1991
Arn is just amazing in this piece . What a talker . Barry us really good too. They look like a pair of big time ass kickers . I'd love for the to have had a run with the belts. It would have made all those great tag matches on t.v mean more.- 9 replies

I wonder if that was just a shot at Sting, or a line to start a program.- 7 replies

How over was Cena. Because at the show I went to he was over huge. Not the split you see on t.v.

I went to a houseshow here in ATX recently and was impressed with Ryback's whole presentation . His selling in the main event was really good. Punk was great live and carried a lot of the stuff with his stooging and schtick in general. The Cesaro/ Miz match was done well. Cesaro was really good at manipulating the crowds reactions. Like teasing what we wanted, but not giving it to us until he was ready for it.

The upside is at least he's not talking about IRS in every thread. That could get old.

His matches with Terry Funk in MLW were awesome. Just some great brawls.

When discussing Sting I feel a lot of people overlook his tag work. He has had a lot of fun random tags throughout the years . Some other things people ignore or gloss over is that he had some of Goldberg's best matches. I also thought him and the Giant had good matches. I haven't seen it in years but I remember liking the Giant/Sting match from Slamboree 95. He was a worker who could play big or could get small and be a FIP. People pimp the DDP match from Nitro and deservingly so. I remember Sting and Jarrett had some good matches. He also had a fun feuds with Meng,Avalanche, Big Bubba, Muta and of course Vader,Foley, and Flair. I also have liked his matches with Austin, and Pillman. I almost forgot to mention his feud against the Dangerous Alliance that provided a lot of entertainment. Luger might have a more diverse body of work but I wouldn't discount Stings.

[1991-01-30-WCW-Clash of the Champions XIV] Sting & Lex Luger vs Doom
shoe replied to Loss's topic in January 1991
The finish looks pretty hot. Sting was looking great . The end is near for Doom who had a heck of a run. They seemed to give 100% and the end result was a string of really good matches .- 11 replies

Another strong 6 man from All-Japan. Here Jumbo and Kawada take center stage. I thought Jumbo was incredible here. I thought he showed a ton of aggression . Overall an excellent match.
