  1. Arn was injured and missed the War Games. Maybe the original plan was for Barry and Arn, but the injury changed the plan.
  2. They also have a good match from prime time that goes the whole 20 minutes.
  3. You know what I 'm free that day. Even though I'm almost done with the set I'll synch up. Everyone knows ATX > SATX!!
  4. This match is still amazing. Pillman was the standout star here. With Windham as the stud on the heel side. Those dropping headbutts from Pillman were sick. He really used the cage really well with some innovative spots. I thought Flair and Sting were really good here as well. Rick Steiner's clothesline bumps were pretty great too. The Sid powerboming Pillman has been discussed plenty. The finish bothered me in the past, but the way they put over Nick Patrick as the final say, and then his explanation at the end allowed me to buy the finish.
  5. I can't believe they Hump his own entrance. Like he is going to draw fans. I think the Simmons face run flopped because it seemed he didn't get built up with wins to put him in the main event. He went to feud with Luger with no real rhyme or reason. In 92 he again went straight to the top with no wins over main events or semi main eventers. He could have gotten over if they booked him as a rising star.
  6. I thought this was a smartly worked match . I thought Ross helped by explaining the psychology of the match. I'm shocked how smooth the finish was. Both of these guys don't have the rep of being smooth.
  7. A pretty good brawl. The front row was eating up all the spots on the floor.
  8. I love using Missy in this way.
  9. Pretty hokey, but entertaining at the same time.
  10. A really good segment. I loved them going nuts at the end. (And a good reason to stomp out the fire)
  11. One thing you can count on from the WWF is the cheesy greatness that some of their skits provide. I love these too.
  12. We really didn't need this segment to know Stings pissed.
  13. What a great angle to go into Wargames with. A good added piece of story to add to the match.
  14. I thought Paul E was just trying to get himself over, but it made sense in regard to the next segment because I didn't understand Arn's line either.
  15. Another segment that knocks it out of the park. Jarrett is really good here, and JC Ice is so slimy you feel like whoopin his ass.
  16. I think I would have enjoyed a 3 team feud with Gilbert's Memphis mafia , team Texas with Austin, and a Lawler, Jarrett, Dundee pairing. Though the Lawler/Gilbert pairing will be a blast I'm sure.
  17. You knew this was bound to happen if Gilbert was staying in the territory.

  19. Any time Savage is on screen it's memorable . For me he is the best thing going in 90 and 91 for the WWF.
  20. A interview segment designed to illustrate the fundamental difference between Simmons and Reed. A face turn is teased for Simmons.
  21. I really enjoyed this. The brawling on the floor with the pace being ratcheted up was great. Both guys throwing bombs at one another. A pair if pros having a good match .
  22. I liked the 1st match better, but this was real good. We get some fun action at the beginning. We get a commercial break and Jarrett is selling the leg . I wish we knew what happened. I dug Gilbert's leg work. I really liked when he would just punch the leg . They worked some fun figure four spots. We build to a finish that gets blown . Thankfully we have a fun run in so the blown finish is quickly forgotten. Another good match in this feud. I've liked all of the matches they have had in 90-91.
  23. This was pretty funny. Heenan is a master of improv.
  24. I wasn't sure if the guy wasn't doing a Hulkster voice.
