That's cool Bruce. From JJ's book and interviews he really loves the history of wrestling. I know since the service went live I myself have remembered things long forgotten. I've begun researching more about Houston wrestling. The service really is a blessing.

Thoughts on Chavo and Jaggers here. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32080-chavo-guerrero-vs-bobby-jaggers-houston-wrestling-111982/

Chavo is a wrestler that really is a trend setter. He'd fit in the 90's on Nitro working the same style. Bobby Jaggers was the journeyman wrestler that was in every territory in the 70's, and 80's. Jaggers was a solid worker who could work heel or face. Singles or tags. These guys have a real fun underneath match. Chavo uses his high end offense. Jaggers was good in his role also. Chavo gets the win with a Victory Role.

Looks like a Bobby Jaggers vs Chavo match today. Could be interesting.

Something I loved and forgot to mention was how Boesch mentioned it was against state law for the females to be in the battle Royal. So they tried a sit down. I loved it.

Scott Casey vs Moon Mulligan thoughts. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32074-scott-casey-vs-moon-mulligan-houston-wrestling-121181/

Scott Casey is the perfect example of a territorial wrestler. He spent years bouncing around the territories in the South. He's a solid worker. was a basic match that told a story. It had Casey working the arm. This was solid. I liked how he headbutted the wristlock. When Moon took control he had a good knee drop and most of his offense looked credible. A good undercard match that eats up some time on the card. 2 1/4*

Thoughts on a Legends Battle Royal from 78 here.http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32072-legends-battle-royal-houston-wrestling-51978/

This was went pretty fast. It was a 2 ring battle royal with the winners of each ring facing off. I liked that the final winners in each ring would face one another. I kind of enjoyed the Valentine/Brody exchange at the end. Valentine's stuff looks so credible.

Thoughts on Parsons vs the man of a million gimmicks Jack Victory. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32071-iceman-king-parsons-vs-jack-victory-houston-wrestling-122784/

I've always dug Parson's. Still do to this day. Still a kind of nothing match. Put on the card to eat up some time. 1/2 *

Thoughts on JYD vs Darsow here.http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32070-jyd-vs-krusher-darsow-21084/

This was a solid match. This was helped by the hot crowd who loved them some JYD. I liked JYD's early back work softening it up for his Big thump. We saw JYD do slams and even headbutts to the back of Darsow. Darsow was just kind of there. He seemed to be carried by JYD. Basic story telling that didn't need bells or whistles to get over. 2 1/4*

Never, I remember Dylan and Will dragging me on a reaction show kicking and screaming to do TNA.

[1980-12-12-Houston Wrestling] Harley Race vs Gino Hernandez
shoe replied to Phil Schneider's topic in December 1980
When I immediately saw that Bruce was uploading this today I popped big. This was worked so smart. When Flair would come down to Dallas and wrestle a Freebird he'd be cheered. Here was different. In the 1st fall Gino was his normal dick head self and he was booed. Race wasn't loved by the crowd either. Race's punches were like jackhammers. Once Gino won the 1st fall the crowd started supporting him. Once he was busted open they got behind him. I loved once he was DQ'd in the 3rd fall the crowd left him remembering he's a rat bastard. Harley was really good here. Gino played his underdog role to perfection. He even got the crowd to get behind him. Gino's elbow from the top was boss. I also loved Gino's jumping up and down after he won the 1st fall.3 3/4* -
Maybe someone can elaborate. It looks like they're offering English commentary with Kevin Kelly and Striker on NJPW for the show on 10/12 King Of Pro Wrestling Show.

Thoughts on Wrestling 2 vs Grappler 2 here.http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32046-mr-wrestling-2-vs-grappler-2-111982/

This is an opener. It was a match to get the audience going. So the babyface goes over with his finisher in a real nothing match. 1 3/4*
