  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMmteW-cAaw Roja was a veteran rudo who according to OJ at Great Lucha had the awesome nicknames "The Lord and Master of Scandal" and "The Scourge of the Technicians" no fair for one guys to have two great nicknames like that. Good first fall with some nice mat wrestling by both guys, until V3 hurts his knee with a pescada and gets tapped. FYI There is a weird clip after the first fall to the middle of the third skip to 20:00 for the end of the segunda. We get a classic gorefest third fall with Flama cutting open V3's bandaged arm with a chair shot, and wasting him with an awesome tope. By the end V3 and Roja are on their knees covered in blood exchanging nasty head butts. I am bummed this didn't make the DVDVR set, but I am happy we keep getting Villano 3 mask matches showing up. May I suggest the lucha gods send us his Nacaulpan hair match with Perro Aguyao?
  2. Allin's incredible 2018 run continues, and if this is Riddle's indy swan song, it's a killer one. Riddle was great in this as he came in as the fun loving bro and as the match continued and Allin refused to die, he morphed into the dark side of that character, he was Johnny Lawrence by the end of this match, brutally stomping Darby in the corner while cursing and taunting him, He was brutalizing Allin, and as usual Darby kept coming. Along with the beating he took, Darby took one of the craziest bumps I can remember him taking as he misses a coffin drop from the top right on the apron, ring corner right into his spine. I can't ever remember a small wrestler who is as good at making upsets seem credible, he may be even better at it then Rey Jr., no way he should be able to pin Riddle, but when he does, it makes perfect sense. I loved the finish run, even the one count kick out by Riddle, and then Darby being unfazed and still able to catch him with the Gibson leglock for the pin. Great stuff, Allin is actually doing what Meltzer claims Omega is doing.

  8. That makes a lot of sense, I also think you should get rid of the Supplemental categories on the 90s threads, move all of that stuff in the month in happened

  19. Holy hell what an awesome bit of grappling. Pretty crazy that something so stylistically odd awesome ended up on a WWE produced show. Gulak has been training as he looks way more muscular then the last time I saw him (I clearly need to go on a Gulak run). The first six minutes of this are all matwork and it is some all time great stuff, cool mix of traditional pro style, World of Sport stuff and point jujitsu. There is this truly epic leg lock battle with Gallagher adjusting a step over toe hold in multiple cool ways, and Gulak looking to roll and attack from the bottom. The attacks here were way more Volk Han then Johnny Saint, and while I actually really like Zach Sabre Jr., the technique here was on a whole different level. I loved how both guys would use front chokes and can openers to counter the leg locks They get up off the mat and have a great rope running section with both guys attacking from odd angles, and then a great striking section which was super stiff, and ended in a Gallagher KO headbutt which looked like a Fujiwara KO. I loved every second of this, the skill level of this match is unlikely to be matched by anyone, anywhere in the world.
