The continuing adventures and travails of these men and women competing in the ring for championships and personal grudges. And like most Soaps, it never ends. What do they call this competition?

Yeah I liked the shot at Belzer. Pissed they cut out so much of the episode for no reason. -

I figured something like that. Dick Ebersol was running SNL. Pissed that they chopped it down to 27 minutes. -

How did Hulk Hogan and Mr.T get booked on Saturday Night Live? I watched the butchered Netflix version today. Seems strange the WWF got to spend so much network TV time hyping Wrestlemania. -
Whats the premise of this soap opera?

It was not ran to death either. Before WM 17 their last match was April 1999. I think they had seven matches from 97 to 03.

Did he ever wonder why him and Dean don't look alike?

So Mel Phillips is the one who did more damage than anyone.

I think Barry Windham is a good guy to compare him too. Barry Windham at his peak smokes DiBiase seven ways to sunday. That said, to me peak Windham smokes the vast majority of the workers I've seen. I meant style wise they are similar. Barry is fucking awesome. Just Barry wrestles a similar style to Dibiase. -
The Windham match was a twenty minute time limit draw on TBS for the Western States belt. Arn and Barry just do a great job working holds. The only thing that bothered me was it was formatted like a heel defending a belt. Like at one point Arn takes a walk after losing an exchange and Barry carries him back to the ring. Barry is champ so it makes no sense either way. Then Barry gets the pin fall as the time limit expires. He keeps the belt either way. But still a very very good match. http://www.megavideo.com/?v=K90M1H4L You can judge for your self. The thing I loved with Arn/Regal was the story. Arn was the old guard heel TV champ taking on the new heel TV champ Regal. The story has Regal getting frustrated and constantly shifting strategy. First he tries to take Arn on the mat and Arn out wrestles him because he's an Anderson. So egal tries out cheating him but Arn was an original Horsemen so no go. Finally Regal starts draining the clock. Just as it looks like its going to be a draw Regal steals the win with Sir William's help. So good story telling combined with hard hitting action and entertaining characters. What pro wrestling is all about.

It feels wrong looking at these. Like watching a tape of God killing a hooker.

How do you self-identify as a wrestling fan?

I'm at the point I judge those who don't like wrestling. -

Have any of these guys ever had good matches?

I just watched the Taker match and it was not. It's been a few years since watching KOTR 95 but I can't imagine it aging so badly it would be bad. -
At least one of their wrestlers will be at a show somebody watches.

I liked a match him and Val had vs the Hardys in 99. But its been awhile. Kama had good matches with Micheals and Taker on ppv. -

This counting just his run as Godfather or all incarnations? -
Tully said he actually ordered the PPV to see how WCW was gonna get out of this. He said he felt bad for Roma.

Barry Windham has the best clothesline ever, Hansen be damned. Please do not tell Stan Hansen I said that. -

Life is too fucking short to go on about what I hate. How bout you start with why you think he sucks. With wrestling it usually comes down to played their roles well and hit their spots the way they were suppose to. Kamala did a great job playing a savage. His moves came across more as an animal lashing out instead of a wrestler in a gimmick. He would use basic throws and slams. Now someone might say "Well that's because he couldn't do anything else." and I say a W is a W. He was good at working the nerve hold. Probably the only guy good at it. Usually looked like he was trying to hurt the guy instead of sitting and catching his breath. When he came off the top, he had this "no brakes!!! no brakes!!!" recklessness. -

Really? He has a bunch of good matches with Tanaka. Tagging with Tanaka vs the Dudleys, With Axl vs Candido and Storm and vs Sabu and RVD. VS RVD. Balls was a good hand. vs Tajiri, with Storm vs Gedo and Jedo, vs Awesome and Raven, Great matches with Mikey Whipwreck, vs Shane Douglas, vs Sabu. I liked him being mauled by Scott Norton. vs the Faces of Fear. As a face Miller had some fun unique looking offense. Really like their run as Southern Justice. Had some matches on Heat where they mauled guys. Breakdown 98 with Jarrett vs the Outlaws and X-Pac. In WCW had good matches with Steamboat and Douglas. Really you are not going to find anybody who had a run with a national promotion longer than a year and not find something good. He had a very good match with Hogan in 84. It was worked around him doing the hidden object schtick and he did it perfectly. -

Kamala is very good. Except for his 92/93 WWF tenure the hard thing would be finding bad Kamala matches. Steele had good matches with Hogan and Savage. I liked a match he had with Orndorff on a Best of the WWF volume.
