Looking at my Netfflix streaming I see Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are both rated TV-PG. Both those shows make WWE look like Romper Room. So why does WWE play it closer to G rated?

On this November 97 Fancam there is this fat guy in the audience and he caused Big Dick Dudley to break character when he took his shirt off.

I think Bret has a certain amount of bile and hate that has to go somewhere. Without Vince, Shawn and HHH he is swinging blind. I kinda wonder why I follow wrestlers on Twitter they rarely talk about wrestling.

Speaking Nikita his feud with Terry Taylor and Ron Garvin over the UWF and NWA TV belts is really good. Even if Taylor seems to lack any real fire Gilbert is doing some great proomos and carrying around both belts. Nikita is showing great intensity. Though I do wish it was building to Gilbert vs Nikita.

Watching the Ron Garvin/Ric Flair series I think Garvin was Flair's best rival. Its too bad he did not work out as interim champion. Flair was cutting great promos building up to Starrcade 87 but Garvin felt like a lame duck champion keeping Flair's belt warm.

Piper seemingly had other material. This is more Axl Rotten bringing it out of left field. I'm starting to think Cena is as big a closet case as Axl.

Now see his promo on Miz and Riley was gay bashing. He's a G rated Axl Rotten at this point.

Squashes mixed usually with two competitive matches. For example one episode had a Luger vs Barry Windham and RnR Express vs Tully and Arn match that went close to thirty minutes. And that is just the TBS show and not including pro and Worldwide.

I'm sure Crockett produced better stuff week in week out. I'm watching 87 NWA on 24/7 and most weeks they produce two very good to great matches. That's not counting promos and angles.

Im pretty sure the only reason Brokeback Mountain was brought up was because he was in a movie called Witch mountain. Rock was in a movie where he wore a tutu and dressed like a fairy. How is Cena not suppose to bring that up?

If that's disgraceful sign me up.

I always liked how the Horsemen played them up and embrace them. Instead of insulting them like they do today.

Had a good match with Bossman at the 90 Rumble. I liked his mini feud with Shawn Micheals over the IC title. I'm sure there is other stuff.

Seeing the actual promo the complaining here is a bit much. Cena just made fun of Rock's kids movies where he dressed like a tooth fairy and wore a tutu. There would be something wrong if he didn't make fun of him for those movies.

They really need to get Cena back to 2007 Cena and fighting monsters. Sheamus could of worked if they did not make him look like a chump so many times. I don't know why he needed to resort to gay jokes with Rock. The guy's movie career has made him an easy target. Cena really isn't that creative. I think if a guy is not fat or short or ugly he has no idea how to put them down. So he goes to the gay well.

Cena lost a battle rap to Big Show. Show came out and just killed him. Cena responded with several variations of "You're fat".

The build for the Hardcore and IC title matches was good til the switcharoo.

Except Miz doesn't work that way. We'd have to stretch the definition of ass kicked most of match and win via banana peel a ton to come to that conclusion. Was scroll era Savage really Honky Tonk Man? Was cast era Bob Orton really Honky Tonk Man? Was the first year of Orton as heel really Honky Tonk Man? Was Cena as heel with chain wrapped around fist finisher, Honky Tonk Man? No the difference there is they would win via their own cheating. Honky would get himself counted out. Or sometimes depend on Jimmy hart or very very regularly hold the ropes pinning Hillbilly Jim. Miz won the title after cashing in MITB after Orton was exhausted and beaten down. Which is not a point since everybody but RVD cashed in like that. But since being champion he has won every ppv title match (blanking on TLC) defense thru some banana peel type finish. He only beat Lawler in December because of Cole. He beat Orton at the Rumble because o Nexus. If you were going to compare Miz to the four guys you listed or Honky Tonk Man he looks a lot more like Honky.

Exactly so what difference does one more hurt and this one would create a moment that would be remembered more than whatever they do with Miz and Cena at Mania.

Shawn really seemed to enjoy working with Goldust. I could be mixing it up with an Apter mag but I remember WWF magazine running an article about a ladder match they had at a house show. Which is an unusual thing for WWF magazine to acknowledge. They did get a mini tv feud in September or October. I think the biggest botch with the initial Goldust run was jumping the gun with Ahmed beating him at King of the Ring. That should of happened much later. After that he meandered around. Feuding with Mero then with Undertaker again back to Mero. Personally I liked the Artist Formerly Known as/preacher era. Thought it did a good rebuilding Goldust.

Just a lateral movement from what they have been doing for the last year. Except in this case there would be a cool moment they could shill for years and years.
