    Luger wasn't totally a joke during this but he was getting there. That happened when they stopped calling him Lex Luger. I never got why WCW kept bringing back Liz. She was useless in 1996 and they kept her till the end.

    I guess Bischoff stopped dying his hair now. You're right about Heenan though. Looked like a drunk old fool and then he hits the thing and it takes a couple of seconds for Bischoff to get in the water. Parka steals this by doing his dance after JJ puts Bischoff in the water.

    Some great acting by Chae. This reminded me of when Alex Wright tried to join the Nitro Girls.

    I enjoyed this too. I remember watching it when it happened and going crazy when Mankind won. Rock was awesome all through this. Especially when they get in the office and Rock answers the phone. Mankind gets beat up like usual but gets the last laugh. Nice to hear Vince on commentary. I forget, was this on MTV or USA?

    I liked this more than you guys but yes it was really too long. First part of the match was real sloppy and lots of missed moves, especially from Dragon Kid. It got better towards the middle with Dragon Kid hitting his ranas and Cima playing a good heel. Cima and Magnum were the best guys here. I also liked Saito and his crazy handstand pin. Poor Cima gets hit right in the face with a Dragon Kid 450 that had to hurt. The final segment with Cima and Magnum went very long and felt like one of those mid 2000 epics with just moves and kicking out. Who was Cima's heel manager at ringside?

    Yeah Styles is unbearable during this. Bubba does a great Johnny Grunge impersonation though. PE didn't really get that big of a pop coming out which is sad. Did these two even have a match together?

    I think I would take Taz more seriously if he didn't have on a wedding ring or gold watch when talking about how he's miserable and a loner. This was a better promo than Shane Douglas when he was doing the same thing.

    Even though they only cut a little bit, I think this is the only time Lawler got his hair cut in Memphis. Another typical run in finish in Power Pro.

    Randy calls both Dave and Corey cowards which is funny. I remember Pritchard as a heel in MCW in 2000 but I didn't expect him to be a face. Hales is getting better I agree.

    Stacy throws a hell of a fireball at Stasiak's back. Nice to see a young guy win the Power Pro title. The segment with Stasiak is classic Lawler.

    I've never seen OMEGA before so this was new to me. Weird seeing the hardys playing heel. This was like watching Smokey Mountain Wrestling but with highspots and actual fans. Was Maverick one of the Dupps or am I thinking of someone else. Helms looked real good as the Ricky Morton of the babyface team. Good match.

    The whole NWO having to help the outsiders beat a crusierweight and Konan is just too much. Why didn't anyone help them like the Flairs or the rest of the former LWO?

    Koko B Ware as the Blue Blazer. What the hell Russo? I was a fan of Debra at the time so this wasn't bad.

    I remember that shirt from the old No Mercy game. I kinda wanna see Rock vs Animal Steele. I guess this was a good set up for the rematch.

    HBk and Austin looked drunk as hell in this. Vince just giving up the title shot makes the Rumble win look real weak.

    Weird to see a ladder match between two heels at the time. This looked really painful for both guys but wasn't bad. The finish was basically to get Goldberg over which is fine.

    A guy like Stevie Ray being in the NWO made no sense to me. Him and Booker breaknig up is like when WWE broke up the Dudleys, it makes no sense. Hogan continues to have a mid life crisis dressing 20 years younger than he really is.

    Poor Bischoff. He keeps getting Whoo'd at and the keystone cop Dillinger is giving him problems.

    Sasha is the best talker in NXT besides Zayn and Enzo. She's better at just about everything compared to Charlotte who will only get a push cause she's Ric's daughter and is tall and athletic. It makes sense I guess.

    I'm the opposite of El-P as this was around the time I was really getting into WWF. Of course I was around 14 at the time and thought all this was cool. I hated the Vince character and Stone Cold was my favorite so this was a big letdown seeing Vince win. Watching it now I realise it's pretty stupid. Vince is just huge walking to the ring. Nice to see D-Lo in there with Austin towards the end.

    Rock looked just massive here. Almost as big as he was in 2012. This was hard to watch but I thought there was actually more chairshots than it seemed. The one where he hits him in the back of the head was just brutal. I hated the finish at the time.
