I'm a huge fan of Landell. When he was around, few were better on the mic and he was good in the ring. The problem is he wasn't around a territory for very long and drugs/Alcohol really hurt his career. His best run was in 95 for SMW and his babyface turn on Jim Cornette is amazing. He was also great in the Dundee/Landell vs Lawler/Mantell feud. I doubt he'll be on my list but I'm a fan of his.

Ray is hard to rate. A lot of his prime isn't on tape and happened when Puerto Rico was in a down point. He's had runs in all the big time PR feds(WWC, IWA) and is still having good matches these days 20+ years later from his debut. I'd say he's right up there with Colon, Invader, Savio Vega. I could see him on my list towards to bottom but I'd love to see more of his feud vs the Colon or his IWA run as Rey Fenix.

I'm surprised to see Embry listed. If this was a favorite wrestler list, he'd be in my top 5 easily. His run from his babyface turn in Texas in 89 to when he turned babyface in 1992 to feud with the Moondogs is one of my favorite runs of any wrestler. The feuds with Akbar, Dirty White Boy, Super Medicos, Lawler, Jarrett, etc are all good to really great. With that said, I don't know if I could vote for him as one of the greatest of all time. He had a sorta short run and I haven't see much of his pre 88 matches.

The Villano III/Rambo series is pretty good. Especially the 1993 AAA and Early 2000 IWRG matches.

CJ Parker is also gonna have a open challenge. I guess that's how Baron Corbin debuts.

I gotta go with Christopher Honey Love or Nate the Rat. Nate might not count since he was Lawler's valet in 90. Also Sebastian of Global Wrestling fame.

Call me crazy, but I doubt it's that hard to find wrestling fans in the frigging video production business unless you're just not trying. It seems they don't want wrestling fans working for them. I mean the guy that works under HHH in developmental came from Volleyball. Didn't the woman that used to appear on Total Divas from Talent Relations come from the LPGA?

Rusev is still selling his ankle from Summerslam and he won. Cena treated getting beaten by Brock like Giant did with Hogan at Cobo Hall.

Probably when Sheamus got fined $50,000 for punching a ref out a couple years ago.

Watched Saturday's WWC tv show. It's kinda sad how bad the roster of that group is now. The main event storyline is Ray Gonzalez vs Savio Vega/TNT. Started with TNT but then he went back into the Savio gimmick. Savio's a good brawler but not very good wrestling every week. Also the tag champs are Miguel Perez Jr. and Huracan Castillo of WWF fame. Miguel still rules doing his crazy bald man gimmick. They have had about 20 matches with the same tag team for about 2 months. I thought WWE had a lot of rematches but WWC has way more. Saturday's show featured matches that took place in a ring with a broken bottom rope. I guess it beats a couple months ago where the main feud was Carlos Colon vs Invader. I miss Andy Levine's blackface gimmick he was doing when he was Universal champ.

Does Seleziya still have to use the #sparx name to get over the border or does the have her visa situation taken care of? I saw her promo on the ROH youtube channel and thought it was good.

I"ve been watching Kick Ass Wrestling's Crossing the LIne 1998 show. For those that don't know, KAW was a promotion in Memphis that ran opposite Power Pro wrestling. It was the precursor to WWF's Memphis Championship Wrestling. This show is just wild and it has no commentary but loud music playing over the matches. It's very ECW based as every match is a garbage match with weapons. My favorite moment is they bring out a fake Jerry Lawler and fake Bill Dundee and they sit on a toilet in the ring. The whole KAW roster(along with King Mabel) run out and attack Lawler/Dundee. Mabel puts fake Lawler's head in the toilet. Before that a bunch of strippers came out and gave a lap dance to a guy that looked like Rob Ford. So dated and 90's but I can't say it's not entertaining.

Thatcher/Busick live was amazing. I haven't seen the Beyond match they had months back so this was my first time seeing the feud. I can see how some people would hate it but I loved it. Gulak/Raideen was ok but I"m not a big fan of Raideen. Gulak/vs Rodrick Strong from earlier in the year was better. Only way I ever want to see another Hero match again is when he gets healthy. He looked awful on Saturday vs Rich Swann.

I think last year was just a case of being too greedy and it bit them in the butt. They lost televisa, live shows have been hurt a lot since then unless it's a big time match with stips. I don't think they are stupid enough to do it again but you never know? It reminds me of the Fuerza Guerrera/Octagon and Park/Wagner mask match teases. They tease it long enough that when it might happen, no one will care.

No. I think he was finally released a couple years back. I remember people being pissed about it.

Ask him if he has any plans to go back to NXT since he did wonders for Tyson Kidd at the last NXT super show. Maybe he could help out Mojo?
-
My answer would be Sami Zayn. I've been to a lot of shows with him on it and Kids love the guy. It would take probably a couple years of big time booking and big wins to get him even 1/2 as big a babyface as Cena but I think he could do it. I would say Bryan but I don't think the company will ever trust him again in that role.

Currently, it's Adam Rose. HIs entrance and comedy is much better live than on TV. I agree with Dylan about Sandow. Maxwell Chicago is another one.

Will, I don't know if you or Loss have gone through the 1999 Power Pro wrestling or Kick Ass wrestling discs yet but I should be getting them in a couple days and I'll go over them for the good stuff.

The only thing that will save Summerslam is if Bryan goes all Kurt Angle and returns. I don't think that will happen so I don't have much hope for the show.

She's a good WWE divas worker. She's not a great worker that's for sure.

I've been back to watching USWA 1994 after taking a month break to watch mid 2000's indie lucha. I'm up to July 1994 and Sid just debuted by attacking Lawler and joining up with Dream Machine/Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich's group/ Actually it would be down to Doug and Tommy as Dream would disappear. Before Sid returned, Tommy and Jerry Lawler had a barb wire match. It wasn't much based on the clips that aired on the TV. PG-13 won the W*ing tag team titles from Nobutaka Araya and Okono. The tag titles were actually just a trophy. Eliminators broke the trophy after PG-13 won it.

Talking about Sasha Banks, I like her feud with Bayley and friends. Especially the matches with Nattie, Emma, Becky Lynch and even Alexa Bliss. She's the best diva in developmental now that Emma and Paige are gone.

Your personal most Overrated and Underrated
Tim Evans replied to JaymeFuture's topic in Megathread archive
Overrated: I'll probably say Misawa. He was real good but I like him less than Kobashi and Kawada. I haven't seen much Taue but what I've seen of Taue, I like him more than Misawa. I should say that the All Japan style is right up there with Shoot Style as the style I lke the least. Underrated: Brian Christopher and Tommy Rich. I"ve been watching a lot of mid 90's USWA lately and both guys are highlights. I loved Brian's 92 run as a cocky heel. He was better than HBK at the time. When he turned babyface in 93, I thought that would be a mistake but he pulled it off well. Brian could do it all, wrestle with Taka and then brawl with the Moondogs and Billy Travis. It's a shame drugs screwed him up in the WWF. Tommy Rich was a good babyface in the 80's but he was a even better heel in the 90's. Also he is one of the best managers of all time for his FBI run
