Wardlow no selling everything until he got kicked in the balls was great, dude just gets more over every week.
-
I'm digging Lee and Swerve as a big man/high flyer tag team.

Joe's not someone I would want to mess with, is there some kind of heat between them?
-
That was quite a banger to kick things off

I mean, doing a Hitler impression does kind of trumps (no pun intended) any counter points tbh. At best it means he's an idiot who thinks imitating Hitler is funny. Again I don't think anyone seriously believes he's an anti Semite, but considering the guy was already in the middle of a messy battle with his ex wife it was enough for any employer to be like "fuck this guy".

Lawler is smart enough to work his matches in typical Old Timer style where he takes minimal to no bumps, and I would be far less concerned with him in the ring compared with anyone else in his age range. Plus while he did almost die in the ring, it was more of a shit happens thing (possibly genetic since his father died young from heart issues) rather than the result of decades abusing his body, Ric's probably done more damage to his body outside the ring than he did in 40 years of wrestling and a plane crash. If Mark Madden is to be believed (I know, I know), Ric's back to getting drunk on a regular basis, which makes this even more of a bad idea.

To be fair, WWE knew Sasha wasn't going to be available for SummerSlam due to Covid and false advertised her anyway. It was partly her fault for being an anti vaxx dummy, but I'd put most of that one on WWE.

I mean, when you come in with talking points used most often by folks who have no desire to understand anyone else's point of view other than their own, you can't be surprised when people choose not to engage with you. Plus this isn't arguing about liking pineapples on pizza, which regardless of what side you're on ultimately is a matter of taste that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Considering odds are very high AOP are going to lose their asses just on booking the venue alone, it would be very stupid of them to agree to a percentage of a gate that might well be 0. (that is it say Stroman probably did, lol)

Man, hasn't Wes Lee been though enough in the last month? Putting him in a program with Von Wagner seems mean at this point.
-
I hope Alpha Academy does an NXT excursion next because I need Brutus vs Otis
-
Dave's mentioned a couple times now that of the current class the two everyone in WWE thought were the best prospects was Bron and Julius.
-
He's #2 on my "dude most ready for the main roster" list, and that's only because Bron was a complete package on day one.
-
I'm sure bringing over Jordan Devlin (who lost a loser leave NXT UK match) won't cause any issues with a PC full barely legal women.
-
Vikings vs Creeds kicked all kinds of ass
-
Time for NXT, as far as I can tell no one's left the building so we're off to better start.

Yeah I don't think he was an all out sympathizer, but he's definitely an idiot. Especially since his "upon further review I have determined the Holocaust was a Bad Thing" apology seemed to confirm that.

Reminds me of when Dusty was doing matches with I want to say Steve Corino, when asked what he wanted to do in the match Dusty was like "at this age I just stand in the middle and you run into my elbow"

I kept hearing "guys do this all the time when shaving" yet neither I or any guy I've ever known has done such a thing. This seems to be a "telling on yourself" thing more than anything when folks are like WELL EVERYONE DOES THE HITLER. Also even if you give him the benefit of the doubt, he still felt the need to take the photo. If he felt that was a funny moment to share with friends, that is also a big "telling on yourself" move IMO.

You realize it's not Rock level or bust in terms of wrestlers going into movies/TV, right? No one's saying she's going to be an A+ superstar actress, but she can easily carve out a nice career that probably pays as much or more than WWE without the bullshit.
-
Yeah I would expect if push comes to shove Sasha would go into making movies/TV at this point, especially if she can ride the Disney train with her Star Wars gig.
-
Even that seemed like WWE trolling their fans instead to taking shots a Punk directly. If anything, this whole deal kind of reveals WWE doesn't view Sasha as a star IMO. Charlotte and Ronda have both done "that doesn't work for me brother" moves or complained about booking and WWE has never felt the need to send out scorched Earth official releases for that. Also "Naomi is throwing her career away for no reason" is an interesting take on someone who has been the subject of more than one fan campaigns of "push this person, they are good and we like them very much". yet as she herself said her program with Sonya was the first one that has lasted more than two weeks.
-
Britt using this as the opportunity to retweet the graphic for Dynamite of her vs the Joker in the Owen tournament is some top tier trolling.
-
Sasha no showed fuckin' SummerSlam for being an anti vaxx moron and getting Covid, and they somehow are losing their shit over her leaving before Raw even started.
