Yeah it's a bad look for the writer, but then having someone shit on something you worked on sucks to so I get why he'd be mad. Deciding to use that anger as a chance to attack someone who just revealed that a person in management (and lets face it Shawn was almost assuredly "management" even before he officially took over from Hunter) mocked their physical and emotional issues is just shitty.

Plus I have the suspicions that a lot of the problems people had with Dax stemmed from him being a pro wrestling guy in a Sports Entertainment company.
-
Also there was a lot of rumor and gossip back when the Revival were in WWE that Dax came off kind of dickish to some folks, but even if that was true it doesn't excuse Jesus Boy.
-
I do think there is a lot of resentment against the writers since they are often made out as the bad guys since pretty much everyone there knows scripted promos suck 99% of the time. So in usual WWE fashion everyone gets mad at the poor bastards who have to write the scripts instead of the guy who insists that's how things were done. I know Dave has repeatedly said it's not fair to be mad at the writers since they are just trying to do what Vince wants and sometimes there's no way to do that and have it not be trash.

Doudrop walking up the turnbuckle (while being bent backwards) to assist Bianca on the KOD was low key impressive. -

Becky Lynch's heel character mentally falling apart is certainly a choice. -

Good for him, but he must have compromising photos or something. Dude's been fired like 3x and rehired every time. -

I dig the Grace Jones style "hot, but would probably kill me" vibe that Rhea is rocking now. -

It's too bad Tamina sucks at the actual wrestling part of the job, but she's pretty awesome everywhere else. -

Miz is probably the best at the style WWE wants everyone to do. he really is so great at it. Having said that, my goodness there a noticeable difference when Maryse isn't around. It's like he's the Bobby Eaton of WWE style, GOAT in a pairing but kinda bleh on his own. Also completely-out-of-fucks-to-give Cowboy Brock is the best version of Brock BY FAR. -
It also comes off like Vince wants the Rock, but also wants the homie discount on what that would cost. You'd think if injury was a fear he could always come out and just Rock Bottom someone and leave, but he hasn't even made an appearance in a long time and famously didn't even participate in the episode of TV dedicated to him (to the point he even no sold it on social media). We all know at the end of the day Rock is all about business.

Saw it mentioned on twitter how this has all the earmarks of something WWE made to get USA or Peacock to give them money for it, and when they were like "lol no" they just put it up on YouTube. -
Yeah between movies, his tequila, TV shows, being at the Super Bowl....he really doesn't have the time to do piddly rasslin' shit anymore no matter how badly Vince wants it to happen.
-
You're not wrong, but what else can they do? It's obviously their fault for not building anyone else up, but its still a fact that there's literally nothing else they could have be the main event.
-
Yeah WWE is actually really good at pushing new stars.....for like two or three weeks. Then they decide they have to job them out because reasons. Look at Damian Priest, he was on a roll and got the rub from teaming with Bad Bunny, and then once they made him US champion he jobbed like four weeks in a row. Between having a love affair with 50-50 booking and their belief that constantly jobbing champions is somehow a good way to build feuds it's no reason they can't make any stars.
-
They're doing all this so Roman has a new beast to destroy, no pun intended.
-
Which was by having MVP do most of the talking while he stood there in the most baller suits possible, thereby accentuating their strengths perfectly. Yet Vince still thinks there's no value in managers.
-
Funny how after that match with Brock where Lashley kept bumping on his shoulder for the Germans, Dave mentioned how risky that was since dudes that spend as much time lifting for as long as he has tend to have shoulder injuries.
-
I don't claim to be a cultural expert, but I found it funny that Liv Morgan can compete in the Britney Spears latex catsuit so tight you can see what she had for breakfast, but that one time they accidently showed a video that had Sasha in her gear it almost caused an international incident.

Kenny needs to just encase his body in ice for six months to let everything heal. At least he made it clear he didn't want to come back only to leave again so he's going to take the time to fully heal (or as close as you can get to that in wrestling) before trying to return. He also pretty much confirmed what everyone else was thinking by stating the EVPs all had their own visions for things and while his and the Bucks were in the same ballpark, Cody's really wasn't.
-
I suppose we're in for another round of "WWE is changing the world" synchronized tweets since the women didn't have to wear 5x t shirts this time around.
-
Listening to Kenny's interview that just dropped and he mentioned how it's going to take longer to return than he hoped because of Covid-related delays in his appointments/surgeries. It seems like the hernia and knee operations got delayed.

I wasn't expecting them to make it a Big Meaty Men Slapping Meat With Ladders match, but I'm here for it.

WWE TV 2/14-2/20 Anything worth talking about this week?

In the "even a broken clock is right twice a day" category, Kevin Dunn's seizure inducing camera cuts actually did a pretty good job covering up the horrible Charlotte botch. -

I do wonder how lavish Taker's ceremony will be considering it's by far the best gimmick that was 100% created by/in WWE.
