I mean it's probably a good idea for him to lose weight on general principles since that will help him as he gets older, but it's not like he's 1987 Adrian Adonis.

He had a fairly serious heart issue than I'm sure did a number on his cardio, and I'm sure he was jacked up from getting such a great reaction (there's always that "did they forget me?" fear when someone is gone for a long time), so I wouldn't read too much in to him getting blown up.

That's awesome to hear. As much as we banter about it, it's really not that difficult to book wrestling. Get good guys the crowd can get into, some villians to get in their way, and at the end of the day the hero triumphs. Sure, sometimes shit happens, people get hurt or leave or lose their smiles, but the theory behind it is as old as time and always works.

It's good for the newbies to have someone to learn from, but my god is Pete Dunne being wasted in NXT. Also yes, the Creeds absolutely should win the tournament. It's funny how Diamond Mine is the best thing going on NXT 2.0 and very little has to do with Roddy. The Creeds are great, Ivy going out there and just ragdolling folks is awesome, and of course Malcom the Tall King rules.

Vince very much reminds me of out of touch Verne these days. I'm remembering the story of how Verne didn't get what the name "Midnight Rockers" meant because he thought it was referring to rocking chairs. Also Verne's insistence on relying on older guys was another similarity to modern Vince. Some of that was out of necessity, but the AWA had a bunch of aging legends pretty much all the way to the end. They weren't going to win over any new/younger fans with a bunch of guys that looked like your uncle and his friends drunk at the family picnic.

I know it was his hometown, but is Lashley actually supposed to be a babyface now? He's feuding with Brock, who was the clear babyface against Roman, so it's all confusing.
