  1. Somewhere Jeff Hardy is seeing Alicia Fox get a Rumble spot like "the fuck, man?"
  2. Mickie goes from having her shit sent to her in a trash bag to getting a big pop in the Rumble as Impact champ. 2022, man,
  3. Seems like it, doesn't it? Relying on her to be the glue when she's coming back (possibly early) from injury appears to be a big ask.
  4. Roman in the opener seems to suggest the show is going to close with Ronda somehow, normally one Rumble opens and the other one closes.
  5. People were making fun of Brucie for saying Vince could be in charge another 20-30, but he actually has the genetics to do it. Reportedly his mother was still active well into her 90s,
  6. To be fair, like 30% of the participants haven't wrestled in nearly a decade.
  7. That, and apparently not knowing when anyone's deal was actually ending in NXT, which let Adam Cole show up on AEW a few days after main eventing a Takeover.
  8. So she originally signed a two year deal, then left after the first year to start a family. If it was anyone else, WWE would have pulled the old "we're freezing your contract because you were out" move. I wonder if they would dare do that to Ronda too. My gut would say no, but I could see WWE being egotistical enough to try.
  9. He also mentioned Ronda isn't on a "just a few appearances" deal meaning she won't just be here and Mania, so they could do something like Charlotte winning and then declaring no one on the roster is worthy of a match because she just beat them all which would lead to Ronda coming out. "The champ is the one to pick the match" is at least a new wrinkle on things.
  10. Man, scripted or not I'm not talking shit about a Samoan dude's family to his face.
  11. Also I know its because Woods is out and they don't want to have the whole act off TV, but feuding with those dipshits is quite the demotion for Big E.
  12. Vince sure loves guys who's sole personality is "tall". Guys like Shanky are only good for the visual and bring nothing else to the table. Guys like Andre and Big Show got your attention with their size but kept you interested due to their personality.
  13. Yeah you gotta love that loyalty to your brand is supposed to be so important they base a whole-ass PPV after it, yet people just show up on other shows and everyone's just like "ok, sure".
  14. Look, I'm not saying Aalyiah is going to be anything special, but WWE's insisting on making new people look like simple dorks who are just happy to be there does no one any favors.
  15. Watching SD now. love how Charlotte, who' towers over pretty much every other woman on the roster except Rhea, has to always sport the tallest heels possible. Out here looking like her real dad is Manute Bol
  16. Mercedes vs Thunder Rosa is gonna bang so hard
  17. Tully out here taking bumps to the floor in 2022 like a goddamn pro
  18. Good lord, Wheeler probably saved Lee Johnson's life (or at least his spine) by rushing to be under that dive.
  19. The Acclaimed is growing on me, not gonna lie
  20. I'm assuming Omos gets the Kane Memorial Tossin' A Lot of Dudes Out spot this year.
  21. IMO wrestling is better when it's the proverbial Big Tent. Give me techinically superior wrestlers, flippy dudes, plunder matches, lucha style, blood and guts, and wacky gimmicks. One of WWE's worst sins is how painfully similar everything is, variety is king. An idea like Danhausen would never see the light of day there and regardless of what you think about him that says it all about them.
  22. It does seem to be looking like WWE firing Jeff was a knee jerk reaction, maybe a fair one considering his past, but still. Dude seems to be doing okay and it seems like that night was maybe him just losing his last fuck to give on a random house show? He wouldn't have even been the only WWE wrestler to do that since Toni Storm seems to have done the same thing.
  23. He's definitely not a character aimed at PWO regulars, that's for sure. It's also why you see all the "not for me, but good for him" posts.
  24. Bruce seems to have that charm about him where he is able to convince people he's the answer to their problems in wrestling, when literally all available evidence points to the contrary.
  25. I enjoy his antics while realizing he is very much the type of person who rubs the "says wrestling should be wacky but doesn't like it when someone actually is wacky" crowd the wrong way.
