Should be noted that Andrade deleted his tweet because one of the pics include was him grabbing a handful of Charlotte's ass. I would also suspect Charlotte isn't a regular listener to Wrestling Observer shows, and the tweet she replied to was from BluRayWrestling which is a known obsessive Dave troll who has repeatedly posted audio clips of shows out of context. Her advice goes both ways, she could have easily called Dave and been all "wtf man?" and let him explain what the context was. Instead, she amplifies a bad faith troll on Twitter which only verifies him to the blind WWE stans .

It's one thing for the usual rando WWE stans to do it, but when it's people who get paid by WWE like Rosenberg and Ryan Satin do it, it starts to get into dangerous territory where you basically have WWE sending their proxies to attack a reporter.
-
So while it's true Dave sometimes doesn't say what he means with the proper clarity at times, it's silly Charlotte and Andrade get so BIG MAD at him over saying that men can main event in their 40s and 50s but women can't and that it's an unfair double standard. It was in the context of explaining Charlotte's storyline suspension being a cover for her getting some dental work done and how women are expected to get more cosmetic things done than the men. That got twisted by the usual cut-n-paste sites and bad faith actors on Twitter into "Dave called Charlotte ugly and insecure". FFS, the guy's not infallible but the cottage industry of Dave Obsessives is starting to get scary.

WWE TV 04/19 - 04/25 Florentino Perez I challenge you to a boxing match

I would think, especially if they want to put 100,000 people in Jerryworld, that Roman vs Rock is the money match. It just seems like the obvious end game for the Head of the Table character. -

Meanwhile, Smackdown was really good this week. Solid matches, solid promos, and a great hook for next week -
Honestly what I believe happened is Mark probably asked Johnny Ace what to do with the stuff the women left behind and was told to put it in a trash bag and send it to them. That way they can throw him under the bus since technically he would have been the one send it out. Shady, but honestly anyone with a shred of decency should have thought "this seems kinda fucked up to send someone who just got fired a trash bag full of their stuff when we don't seem to do this to the guys" so I'm kind of Team Screw All of Them here I guess.
-
I haven't heard any men say they had it happen to them, only women so far, so it sure look like it was something that only happened to them.
-
I think having other women come forward and say it happened to them too was what caused WWE to act on this. Since they have Steph out there boasting about single handedly creating women's wrestling and equality in general, having it come out that fired women wrestlers get their shit mailed to them in trash bags was a huge black eye for them. Also yes, Mark Carrano was 100% the fall guy here, as women from before he worked there came forward to say it happened to them too, but by most accounts he was a jerk even by "all HR people tend to be jerks" standards. So no one is likely to shed any tears over it.
-
Sending someone's stuff back to them in a trash bag is pretty disrespectful, especially someone who was let go for "budget reasons" when the company is making record profits. It would have taken a few extra minutes to pack her stuff properly, instead they just throw it all in a trash bag. It just shows how little the company thinks of the people who work for them.
-
Yeah there's plenty of evidence that Mark Carrano is a shit human being, but this "send them their stuff in a trash bag" routine predates his time there. It's probably not a coincidence this happened not to long after Johnny Ace came back.

In fact when Big John was rehired to be talent relations, it was noted that Mark Cerrano would still be the one to "get the heat" in terms of telling talent bad news. Now Hunter's probably stuffing his desk contents in a trash bag as we speak. -

Multiple people confirming that now, obviously heads would have to roll for this but anyone who thinks he's anything but a fall guy here is fooling themselves, -

Every place they've had the Thunderdome in has been a place used by either pro or college sports teams, so there would be laundry facilities on site. -

I would suspect since they are working in the same building every week, everyone just leaves their gear there so they don't have to lug it back and forth. -

Dave said he has to confirm before reporting but it looks like it was actually a major name that got fired. Plus one other woman stated her trash bag that she got sent had someone else's gear in it. -

I'm sure it's entirely fair to expect a billion dollar company to do something a little more professional than putting your shit in a trash bag and mailing it to you. When my company made the decision we were all working from home permanently, all the stuff that was left in my desk was neatly packed in a box without needing to be put in a goddamn Hefty bag. It's just callous and thoughtlessness that either no one involved thought this would be a bad look, or someone did and they just didn't give a shit. As I said in the other thread, it's telling that they only suddenly were outraged about it when someone tweeted about it. A few other women responded that their stuff was handled the same way. -
I was cracking up to see how quickly WWE reacted to that. Hunter, Steph, and Johnny Ace all tweeted at how unacceptable it was and that they fired the person responsible. Of course it also came out that other women who were released reported the same thing happened to them and of course it was only an issue when someone posted it.

It is, but when the job of an announcer is to be the bridge between the company and the fans it's probably not super great to ignore any and all feedback from said fans. I mean, there has to be a happy medium between being Hypersensitive Online and being all "fuck what the fans think, only worry about the boss" right? Especially when the main reason everyone thinks WWE announcing is terrible is that Vince wants them to be the way they are? It's little things like that which lead to the weird cult mentality that exists there. -

So Adnan Virk mentioned Michael Cole told him to never look at social media to see what people think about his performance no matter if its good or bad, because only one person matters. Not a surprise but it's nice to see the "audience of one" confirmed every so often. -

It came from him saying in an interview that he had no feeling about being in the main event of WM and generally sounding like his passion for wrestling was being stomped out. It came off like he was having some serious buyer's remorse over re signing with WWE the last time around and people are hoping that means he'll go elsewhere this time around. -

It's amazing how WWE took a guy willing to jump through any hoop WWE put in front of him and then some to get cleared again, and got him to the point where he felt dead inside working the main event of Wrestlemania. -
You're not wrong, but at least there's the implied guarantee that in AEW you'll actually get blood and guts in a Blood and Guts match as opposed to the other guys.
-
The whole point of it was for Kenny to do the belt collector gimmick anyway, so in the end they'll get what they wanted.

Hunter claiming the Wednesday Night War was imaginary is quite the gaslight attempt. What's worse is there absolutely be WWE stans who will believe it. -
Looking forward to that, I fell out of following them once Bein Sports got dropped by my cable system and of course the pandemic.
