If they're framing it as accepting tough love from Don that they didn't want to hear, I can accept that as a defense to the ACT-ING we got last week.

If the internet has taught me anything, it's that if something exists there's someone that's into it. And I mean "into it" in all possible contexts.

Well Hayes won a fan vote to be the second ref (worked vote I'm sure) so there was a storyline reason for him to be there. He tried to cheat to help Kerry so he could pay the Von Erichs back for helping them win earlier. So it made sense from Hayes' POV to do what he did and made sense from Kerry's POV to not want to have a world championship win sullied by such villainy.

The best part of that was how they set it up. David stepped in to replace Buddy Roberts to help the Freebirds win the six man titles, so Michael thought he was being a bro in return to help Kerry win the world title. The Von Erichs were too goody two shoes to allow that, and a legendary feud was born.

Mankind winning the WWF title from the Rock was just the typical clusterfuck match of its time until Austin came out to one of the biggest pops of all time. That plus the post-match celebration of "Mrs. Foley's baby boy" made it one of the Attitude Era's greatest moments.

Ivelisse is already tweeting about her release, saying it was because she had an issue with the coaches and her speaking about it was why she was let go.

They should team up with Tessa and Joey Ryan to start Unemployable Championship Wrestling.

Makes sense, Kitao was a grumpy asshole so I can see them deciding he'd be the perfect fall guy to solve all their problems.

CGI works when it's stuff like big silly unicorns and pancakes for the New Day because it fits their gimmick and you expect them to be suitably wacky. The big skeleton pirate reaching into the stadium was cool too, but it shouldn't be part of anyone's entrance who's supposed to be 100% serious.

Yeah the McMahon family (other than Shane I believe) make all their money off their ownership of WWE stock, and honestly since Nick Khan was the one who made the billion dollar Peacock deal happen he deserves all the money they paid him.

I tend to give women wrestlers the benefit of the doubt since women always get tagged as hard to work with if they act too much like their male counterparts, but she's had issues in every place she's worked at so there as to be some fire to all the smoke.

I 100% believe WWE wants to make another John Cena, a superstar who is a complete company man who does whatever they want. I also 100% believe they don't want to create another Rock who ends up leaving to become an even bigger megastar outside of WWE. WWE making the brand the #1 star is like the modern version of the old school territory promoters pushing themselves and family on top because they know they'll never leave the area.

I've been seeing a lot of tweets the last few days of people who only pop in to watch WWE occasionally/annually saying they think they liked Mania but they weren't sure because they were getting too dizzy and motion sick from the camera work. Do you think WWE is even slightly aware that their preferred house style for filming literally makes their audience sick to their stomachs?

I suppose the idea that AEW has too many people already signed might be making them more open to the idea of letting people go.

Apparently from people who were there live, Edge's entrance got the pop because it was loaded with pyro and him and Bryan were about equal during the match.

So Dave was mentioning on the WO review of night 2 that Matt Riddle was never even supposed to get the US title, Keith Lee was supposed to get it but he got sent to the Phantom Zone. They needed someone to take the title off Lashley since he was going to get the WWE title, and it ended up being a real version of the old "Honky only won the IC title because Butch Reed no showed" urban legend.

I wonder how much the WWE cut rumors are coming from them historically doing a post Wrestlemania purge of people who don't get used much.
