  1. Yeah the only person in that family who was useless was Kendall, and even he had a moment of greatness in WCW.
  2. Interesting that they are putting Bad Bunny in a singles match at Mania, I suppose that shows how much faith they have in Miz. Perhaps Ryan Satin's barber can get to the bottom of this.
  3. There's a million things wrong with this feud, but why would Shane want to pick a fight with Braun in kayfabe?
  4. I know it's Drew, but not really a fan of the "one guy beats up a tag team" trope that WWE loves so much.
  5. Man, going up for a chokeslam from someone legit like 7'2 or whatever has to be a scary prospect.
  6. In these times where it seems everyone is at one another's throats, it's nice to see Wrestling Twitter come together to dunk on Ryan Satin for tweeting his not-at-all-made-up story of how his barber asked him about Bad Bunny being in WWE and how it made him consider watching again. (of course he had to turn it into "look at how these people who say they are concerned about mental health all bullying me" because he's always the victim)
  7. A lot of people not being featured in AEW are on one year deals, and considering Tony's reluctance to cut people I would expect their contracts would be allowed to run out. Especially with their being light at the end of the tunnel re: the pandemic, he doesn't have to keep feeling he has a responsibility to keep everyone around. I mean, if someone of this caliber becomes available you pretty much have to make the attempt to land him. If you have to cut a bunch of people not being regularly featured to get someone who could be a top level guy you make that deal 7 days a week.
  8. Makes sense since Hunter and Regal did good by him in NXT, and Heyman was looking out for him on the main roster (as much good as that ended up doing).
  9. They just announced Andrade doesn't have a non compete as part of his release, which sure seems to be proof *someone* went to bat for him to get that.
  10. She already used her power once to keep them together in the draft, she's the top women's star for the foreseeable future (unless Becky comes back), and she's the daughter of a legend both Vince and Hunter have a soft spot for. So yeah, I do think she has top star level pull. No I don't think she has a seat on the Board of Directors, but I would think she could convince people in WWE it's probably not in their best interest to keep jerking her fiance around.
  11. I saw he tweeted something about good news, so I thought something was up, but I'm surprised they did it. I suppose Charlotte must have told them to use him or let him go. I can't wait for La Sombra (he owns that name) popping up again.
  12. Makes sense, since WWE is stuck in their own Groundhog Day.
  13. Well Peacock ran smoother for me than the Network usually does, so as a test run the show was a success.
  14. In ring I would say Low Ki probably is better, but Seth never had a shoot temper tantrum that led to him being carried out of the building like a toddler so I'd have to give him the edge here.
  15. If nothing else it's extremely tone deaf to have Will of all people do a "I'm so serious I'll abuse my girlfriend to prove it" angle. All that was missing was David Crockett yelling SHE LIKES IT TONY!
  16. Yeah but him hitting the cutter on Bea was certainly an interesting choice.
  17. His run as Zodiac was underrated and awesome as well.
  18. They settled with Jesse at some point and restored all the commentary. I want to say it happened around the time everything moved from WWE 24/7 to the Network.
  19. WO site reporting that Barry Orton passed away at age 62. Probably best known for (other than being Cowboy Bob's brother) being one of the whistleblowers in the WWF sex scandals in the 90s.
  20. Heyman was on fire on Talking Smack, saying Roman will beat DB so badly it will make Edge shit his pants. Then saying in the 90s there were three people who dominated pro wrestling: Eric, himself, and Vince... and he's the only one still relevant enough to be on TV every week with the biggest star. Also I may be the last person on Earth to notice, but the Talking Smack logo looks so much like the one from WCW Thunder and I can't unsee it now.
  21. Watching Smackdown now, and I guess poor Reggie got the rona
  22. Wow, that's a good call down to the career ending neck injuries.
  23. I know it should be taken with a grain of salt coming from Honky, but stuff like that makes me wonder if Vince actually knows anything about wrestling. How could anyone see that character and not think "easily hateable heel" immediately?
  24. I may be getting my masked 80s WWF jobbers mixed up, but wasn't Mr. X just Danny Davis in his pre heel ref days?
  25. Not to mention if the bullying was egregious enough most courts would be loathe to punish anyone who struck back unless you were unlucky enough to draw a hardass judge.
