  1. Tony Khan tweeted out they are going to put the Ethan Page match up on YouTube since the TNT feed got the messed up audio.
  2. That was better than what I was expecting, I was hoping Spears wasn't going to be the last addon to Tully's group. If they want, now they could actually have a feud worthy of the War Games type match they were going to do before the pandemic hit.
  3. My assumption the moment they announced it was that this is where they pull the trigger on MJF taking over and kicking out Jericho.
  4. How dare Shida try to interrupt the Simp Queen
  5. I suppose since he's coaching all the youngins at his school they feel having him do programs with them is helpful. Otherwise, yeah I don't see why they would bother.
  6. Now the audio mix is all weird, the crowd volume is like maxed out and the announcers are getting drowned out.
  7. So I'm guessing Penta breaks Cody's arm so he can go on paternity leave?
  8. "Impact paid for the bomb" LOL Eddie fucking rules
  9. Giving us a Fenix match to kick off the show is a good start on the make good process.
  10. Nothing gives away that the WWE HOF is entirely decided by Vince's whims as this, All the women he wanted to fuck got in first,
  11. So I guess I can out myself here, I work for Comcast in tech support and there has been shockingly little information being relayed to those of us who will be actually doing the assisting,

    AEW Revolution

Edge was 90s hot, it's like seeing how mullets and women with 3 foot tall hairsprayed monstrosities were hot in the 80s. You kinda had to be there to understand. Plus his initial intro to WWF with Gangrel tapped in to those people who had Vampire fetishes which was big at the time as well.
  13. In bigger news, we're getting Maki Itoh on US television.
  14. So they are going to do a Rich Swann-Moose match to combine the Impact and "TNA" titles, and the winner of that faces Omega in a winner take all match at Rebellion. I'm guessing this leads to Ultimo Kenny showing up on Dynamite with the AEW, AAA, Impact, and TNA belts.
  15. Lord, I'd forgotten about that. Truly the AEW Deathmatch of blood stoppages.
  16. George Steele is one of the truly underrated guys of all time. He went from being a feared and hated heel to the cuddly Animal most of us grew up with. No one before or since could do the role he did the way he did it.
  17. I love how this is like the opposite of the Ric Flair thread. When that gets bumped I'm all "oh Jesus, did Ric die?" and when this one gets bumped I'm all "oh boy can't wait to see what stupid thing he did next". Also all these idiots that go on and on about "toxins" don't seem to realize the human body already comes equipped with something to clean those out, it's called a liver you morons.
  18. I never noticed it at the time (I was also nine years old so I just brushed it off as the guy who roots for the heels mad that the heel lost), but yeah watching it now it comes off as Jesse trying to get Savage his heat back from losing and really did a disservice to Steamboat. It is kind of a point in Dave's favor when he says that matches can only be viewed in the time they happened, since someone watching 60 years from now would be all "why is this weird bald hairy guy getting involved in this great match?" without the context of the storylines of the time that made him being there make perfect sense.
  19. Pretty much any streaming service that is being run by and/or bankrolled by a media company is looking to buy any content they can to pad out their offerings. NBC already being in a long term relationship with WWE via Raw put them in the right place at the right time. I'm thinking they won't see the bump they were expecting due to accounts not rolling over automatically though. As someone who's job it is to help people get streaming apps like Netflix/Hulu/HBO Max/Prime Video set up on their cable boxes it's sometimes impossible to get Joe Rando to follow instructions properly.
  20. Well Zelina's non compete is up so she could theoretically appear anywhere at this point, I'm assuming they're just waiting for his deal to expire so they could go somewhere as a package deal.
  21. The ratings and disclaimers for the more potentially offensive stuff should suffice. I could see them adding additional content warnings for stuff like the Nation skit or for some of the "different time and place" stuff that played in the 80s that doesn't fly now.
  22. We're all kind of showing our ages here since most people streaming on Peacock are accustomed to searching for something like "Jessie nearly OD'ing on caffeine pills" on YouTube and finding the scene they were looking for, if not the whole episode. That's what's going to cause issues, people used to searching for something directly and having that not really be an option. Of course you can argue someone specifically searching for Ric Flair JCP promos is probably going to be in the age range accustomed to things like DVD chapters, but those folks (aka most of us here) have to come to terms with the idea they're not the audience streaming services are going for. The audience they *are* going for (the demo, if you wheeeel), are accustomed to being able to easily search for something and it will cause problems if they can't do it.
  23. He typed a lot of words to basically say "Someone smartened me up that suing people who accused me of sexual assault is a horrendously bad move that will certainly end whatever slim prospects I have to resume my career". I would hope he's sincere in his attempts to get better as a person, but part of that usually involves taking ownership of your deeds and he's showing none of that other than basically pulling the Big Pun style defense like "I'm not a rapist I just fuck a lot".
  24. The George Steele stuff both was the storyline with Liz and a callback to Savage destroying Ricky's throat and George preventing that from happening again.
  25. I mean, the search function was trash on the WWE Network so having no search function on Peacock wouldn't be much difference anyway. I'm just happy to hear that they plan to move everything currently available over to Peacock. Yes, it will take until Summerslam, but considering there were things that didn't make the transition from the old WWE 24/7 to the Network (looking at you, AWA and Florida eps) I'm gonna take what I can get,
