  1. LOL that was my exact same thought as well. I'd get dirty looks getting in her car if my shoes were muddy.
  2. That was fantastic.
  3. That facepaint makes Santana & Ortiz look like Tama Tanga and Tanga Loa.
  4. Shida cleaning house while wearing her title belt as a bandelero is a baller move.
  5. I'm OK with it as long as it's a Jim Crockett/Jack Tunney role where he only appears occasionally to deliver major news. It's not a secret that he's the boss and you should have an authority figure that lays down the law when needed. Just because WWE abuses it doesn't mean it's not a role that has value.
  6. Since the person he responded to deleted his tweet, KO posted a pic of him and his daughter wearing masks and this guy was like "your daughter is wearing a mask..... *shrug emoji*", leading to KO unleashing the above dunk.
  7. Say what you will about him as a wrestler but I'm a KO mark for his tweets alone.
  8. So I found one of the low level channels on my TV package actually airs the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood show, and it just happened to be their first two weeks back from the pandemic. Other than a little bit of "we've got 6 months of pent up angles we're going to bukkake on your face" it was a pretty decent show. Helps a lot that they were already in a small TV studio so no fans doesn't take nearly as much from their aesthetic as it did for other shows. They were doing a lot of plugs for the NWA show since they are pretty much the ones partnering up for this (the "United Wrestling Network" is pretty much them creating a fictional governing body for them and their Arizona offshoot that apparently being booked by Peter Avalon), and I have to say it was a pretty well produced.
  9. Hollywood is on par with rasslin in terms of sleaze, but at least they get unions and health care. Even if you end up a B level actor at least you don't need to run a gofundme when old age starts to take its toll.
  10. If nothing else the Fox contract was worth it for the interview where Bayley accidentally revealed wrestlers don't have any form of collective bargaining ,and the Fox Sports interviewer being completely baffled at that.
  11. "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMMIT" - that ref, probably.
  12. Yeah I saw a clip on Twitter where you can see from the ref's POV it looked like Mickie tapped out and while obviously the ref is clued in to the finish they are told to call it like a shoot.
  13. Not to mention on top of everything else, it's poor staging/costuming as well. Could not one of the 500 writers on staff not been like "Yeah, you know that group we're trying to get over as such a serious threat heels and faces band together to stop them? Maybe we shouldn't have them dress in a visually similar way as the jabronis who chase around R Truth every week for the 24/7 title".
  14. So the people who seem to be penciled in as official members (as opposed to people who are just background fodder) are Dijakovic, Mia Yim, Mercedes Martinez, and Dio Madden. So you have folks that WWE only fans have no clue about and fans who follow NXT know none of them have any reason to be mad at WWE since they were all given ample opportunities. I suppose Dio Madden has a legitimate beef since he was getting a shot to be an announcer on Raw before Brock killed him, It's just silly either way. Even if this whole thing would have been done correctly from the jump, having the reveal being a bunch of unknowns with no real axes to grind would have made it a failure. The funny thing is WWE has tons of people not being used/underutilized who would have fit way better as "disgruntled employees tired of the bullshit just decide to fuck shit up", but that would have required an iota of self awareness we all know WWE does not possess.
  15. Yeah but.....the Hurt Business were the only folks who came out to fight them and made a big deal of taking off their jackets and marching up to them. It wasn't exactly all the WCW babyfaces and heels emptying out to fight off the nWo.
  16. If you believe the sleaze-thread type rumors of the day, Dory's school was more for his wife to scout talent if you know what I mean.
  17. So with the Hurt Business.....supposedly heels.....coming out to brawl, does that make the angle BLM vs Antifa?
  18. I think I had a seizure trying to watch the Hurt Business brawl with Retribution. At least Keith Lee finally got to do Keith Lee stuff with that dive.
  19. Braun vs whatever the hell Babatunde's WWE name is in RAW Underground is some real BIG MEN SLAPPIN MEAT
  20. I like this character for Lana, Instagram Influencer seems more "your real personality amped up", but she still sucks in the ring.
  21. I agree but it did come off like he swapped out Mark Henry's gear for a plus size version of Owen's. Did I miss the show where Adam Pearce got promoted from random backstage office geek to de facto GM?
  22. Seth may be a total pud online and a company bootlicker, but he's put in the work to make Dom look like a million bucks.
  23. I thought she was just selling the spinning backfist, but I suppose it could have been flash knockout. If so, good on the ref for spotting it. I've always been of the opinion the backfist is lowkey one of the more dangerous moves in wrestling just because the person doing it isn't facing the person taking it. Either you have to make it really fake looking to be safe or risk drilling someone in the face or head full force. Cole was such a goof stumbling over Ivar's injury saying he had hurt his "cervical", almost thought he was gonna say "cervix" for a moment.
  24. Watching on delay since the Steelers played on Monday Night Football (I'm part of the problem on multiple levels), and they are really blowing this Retribution deal. That promo made it too obvious who was under the masks, and unless someone of name value is put with them for credibility why would anyone care and/or see them as a threat. WTF happened with the finish of the Asuka/Mickie match? It almost came off like the ref went into business for himself. Not like I was expecting Mickie to win, but it was quite the fart of an ending for what was a fun little match. Also lol at Zelina walking right in after being a manager and starting a program with the champ. It is funny when she gets into a promo and her NOO YAWK voice comes out.
  25. The "you work for me" stuff is just to explain why Wardlow hasn't turned him into a spot on the floor. Pretty sure this will lead to Wardlow finally killing him and revealing he's signed with AEW after all. It's not incorrect to say this kind of fits weirdly in modern wrestling, but I wonder how much it's also due to WWE doing endless angles where they state the wrestlers will be destitute without the benevolence of The Company keeping them around. A cool twist will be revealing Wardlow's plan all along was to take MJF down a peg because he's ....well.....MJF. Wardlow turning out to be a secret genius and not just a meat head stereotype could be something.
