Having angry NOD Farooq style Ron Simmons with MVP's crew would be workable* (not that I'd trust WWE to do it right), but not the guy who's spent the last decade plus showing up just to say DAMN at random backstage foolishness. *So far MVP's group has been characterized as the Grown Ass Men seeking to put the youngin's in their place. There could be a way to make Ron Simmons work for that in the hands of someone not in a constant state of horniness for the late 90s.

Well there is a tiny difference between stretching out a trainee (still abuse but at least there's somewhat of a "we're toughening them up for rasslin" defense) and straight Suge Knight-ing a motherfucker from a balcony. I seem to recall Jack Evans saying she was the reason he left Lucha Underground. I'm not sure of any specifics but it seems she's not been the easiest person to get along with. My impression is she's another Tessa but without the racism accusations (that I know of anyway). I'm surprised AEW gave her a shot considering the word on her has been a variation of "there's a reason no major company has reached out to her in a while". Maybe they can buck the trend and everything will work out fine, but the odds do not seem to be in their favor here.
