  1. She's always the player-coach in these things holding it together. They sure didn't wait long for Naomi, lol. She's gotta be doing a victory lap after all this.
  2. I love how we've been doing the Rumble since fucking 1988 but we still have to have the rules explained to us every time
  3. Also lol at them spoiling Roxanne Perez being in the Rumble by her entrance video being shown while Randy was doing his little pre game walk through.
  4. Probably trying to disassociate him from the "Suck It" guy after the last 24 hours....
  5. If Cody is going to "finish his story", it has to be against Roman. That's the title Dusty never won, since in WWE canon the WHC Seth has is descended from the Big Gold Belt that he did win.
  6. I feel like anyone who has been in the Second-in-Command role right under Vince (Patterson, Bruce, Khan) had to have full knowledge because they would have been needed to be ready to be in charge if Vince ever went down. Considering the level of John Laurenitits's involvement you have to look at the Head of Talent Relations over the decades and wonder now too.
  7. Y'know, thinking about who the "Unnamed WWE Employees" might be, and while one almost assuredly is Bruce, and the other one most likely is Kevin Dunn....could the third one be Jerry McDevitt? One section has the unnamed person regaling the WWE legal department with his tales of debauchery, and it had to be him right? Dude probably knows where more skeletons are buried than anyone.
  8. At this point I'm convinced Darby is made from superballs.
  9. You're not wrong, but at the same time what are they supposed to say? I'm sure everyone in WWE has been told to stfu because they don't want this to be the main topic of discussion on the weekend of their #2 show of the year, even though it absolutely is. Natalya made the closest thing to a statement by saying she read what everyone else did and while it ended with the usual "keep moving forward" nonsense, having someone who is held in high regard by a lot of the women acknowledge it makes it seem like the women's locker room is paying attention to this. If I'm AEW or any other company right now you don't need to say a thing, just sit back and let the story speak for itself. The last thing you want to do is be seen like you're using this as another talking point in a tribal war between fanbases.
  10. Jordynne Grace is rumored to have a one shot appearance in the women's rumble as TNA Knockouts champ.
  11. Her lawyer released a statement basically hoping this lawsuit opens the door for others who went through that type of treatment from Vince.
  12. Adding to what @C.S. said, it's a no win situation for them or anyone really in the company. The last thing they want is to spend Rumble weekend talking about Vince's scat fetish.
  13. Probably not, since hush money arrangements like the one made with the woman filing this lawsuit were done so that the sale/merger could happen without any obstacles. An arrangement he apparently decided to throw in the trash the moment he figured she didn't pose any threat to derailing his access to easy billions anymore.
  14. A whole stadium chanting WHOOP THAT TRICK tomorrow is gonna be amazing
  15. Elektra Lopez regaining her spot in Legado, fuck yeah. Guess she won folks over by ethering poor Lola Vice on NXT.
  16. Vince had to resign, even if only a quarter that was alleged is true it would have made WWE a corporate Chernobyl as long as he was around in any form or fashion. What's going to be a bigger issue for the company is when people start piecing together who all the Unnamed WWE Corporate Employees are who are named in the lawsuit. It probably won't be too hard for the internet to do its thing and sleuth it out, as it will most likely reveal just how baked in all this sleaze is in the company. Of course none of that really matters, it's no secret that the corporate structure of WWE needed to be burned to the ground decades ago. What really matters is Vince finally having to accept some form of accountability for his gross behavior.
  17. Honestly the part of the lawsuit that was the hardest to believe was that Linda would be that upset about finding out Vince was having yet another affair. Unless it was a "straw that broke the camel's back" kind of thing I just assumed she was numb to his bullshit by now.
  18. I know its not the worst part of this by far, but holy shit Vince couldn't even be bothered (allegedly) to pay her all the hush money he agreed to.
  19. Wow, Suzuki sure didn't coast in that match.... god damn. Him and Copeland beat the piss out of each other.
  20. I'm so old I'm trying to comprehend the future home of Raw (and probably all of WWE in five years) is the same place I first signed up with to get movies on DVD for my mother.
  21. Didn't realize Lyra was so small, she needed to wear some noticeably chunky heels on those boots to be able to appear taller than noted tiny person Roxanne.
  22. Thea horning over New Chase Dude cracks me up every time
  23. Also they need to start training the crowd to stop the Holy Shit chants since it gets half censored.
  24. Lola Vice may be who they want to push, but Elektra smoked her in that segment tonight.
  25. It's funny how well Punk plays with others when he's in there with someone just as carny as he is (and I say that in the best meaning possible). It seems pretty clear by now that he didn't think the Bucks deserved to be in the position they were in AEW (in terms of management not as a top act) and Kenny was just caught in the crossfire. Which makes it all the more humorous he's so happy now back in the company run by the "doofus son in law" from his famous pipe bomb.
